  1. Was sick last week but I toughed it out. Now this week its my knee that I had ACL reconstruction on a few years ago thats bothering me. Already got freaking arthritis :(
  2. Here in Louisiana, any vehicle past 20 years old or more can be considered a classic and thus apply for a License plate with a Classic title and the insurance is dirt cheap.
  3. And there is a 4 Door version as well B) Need for seating for more than 2 solved :)
  4. I'm a half assed welder. Well let me rephrase that I'm just not that good with welding. Im handy with a plasma cutter or a torch though. Im good at grinding and finshing metal and etc. Decent painter and I can do minor carpenter work.
  5. I've been using Emule for a while, but as of late I havnt found anything worth downloading music wise. Not much out there to listen to these days for me.
  6. Realistcally offering a stripped down package costs more money in the long run. I believe Guy McCoy offered the explaination once over at CZ28. Basically it costs GM more money to design and engineer a car to fit both fully loaded and stripped down packages. It costs all manus more to design to this strategy. Thats why more and more cars today have standard ac, carpet, and etc because it costs more money in the long run to design and engineer say manual and power window untis. Power and manual locks, and etc. Why we dont see the options we had years ago in vehicles is because in todays marketplace stripped down models do NOT sell well at all and it costs money to engineer for stripped down models (I know thats hard to believe). Basically basic, stripper options costs car manus more to develop and to sell as 90 percent of the buyers out there will have no interest what-so-ever in even considering say a rubber matted, manual crank Z28 with no AC. Cars like that will languish on lots forever until an enthusiast wants it. Basically, one of the most unrealistic options one could ask for in todays car world is a stripped down muscle car with only a steering wheel, seats, and a big engine. Not going to happen and its not a feasible thing to do. The most realistic is to offer about 2 to 3 levels of trim that vary on small levels to keep costs down and those trim levels only have small things that make them different such as leather seats or no leater seats and etc.
  7. Watched the ending of the game and either though I dont like either team it was a nail biter to the end. Not a fan of Weis at all but after that story about that promise he made to that little boy with cancer that man has my full respect.
  8. I dont think its so much the floor shifter that takes up the space, its the ever increasing size of the center consoles they build around said floor shifter. I find the console itself to be more of a room stealer than anything in todays vehicles. I understand there is a demand for them but dang, quit making them so huge that they take a up a ton of room!
  9. Scott Settlemire has repeatedly all but beat it into everyones heads over at CZ28 about it being there. He can't offically say the word "Camaro" but he has told everyone to look to the 2006 NAIAS. Basically there will be a chassis that the Camaro will based off of to justify its existence that it will share with another vehicle. This way this ensures soild production and survival of the car. Lutz himself has all but blurted it out in his blogs and interviews. When Red Planet/Fbodfather says what he says I tend to believe him. I doubt he would be telling all the Camaro fanatics to look to NAIAS in 06 if there would be nothing there. Another person from GM pulling that? Perhaps but not Settlimire. I would expect to see the car in sheetmetal form for public perception tests and sitting on a chassis modified to fit it and not the real chassis it will use. I also expect to see perhaps a Chevy Sedan there that the Camaro will be based off of.
  10. Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin come to mind immmediately when thinking upon this subject. Modern day artists (Female) that I think have good voices are Faith Hill, Christina Aguilera (She does have good vocals admit it), Kelly Clarkson, Shannon Curfman, Amanda Marshall. Male Artists: Corey Taylor from Stone Sour, Marc Broussard, and Paul McCoy from the 12 Stones. Thats what comes to me at the moment and thats some of the artists in my winamp playlist right now.
  11. I remember before all the fancy toys we had to use our imagination to have fun. If you had a stick you were in business. If it had a little stem coming off of it near one end you had a pistol. A stick could be used as a sword, a spear, a rifle, a cane, and etc. Hell get a rock and you could play baseball. Now ya need an interactive dvd program to entertain children. Not mine when I have em, Im going to place an emphasis on having fun in a fun way but they're going to appreciate the simple things in life a lot more than most kids will. Sure they'll have whateve playstation or Xbox they want and etc but they wont be glued to it 24 7 like todays kids are. I remember when my car craziness started, it was like when I was 8 and I got my sisters hand-me-down go kart. Couldnt pry me away from pretending I was Mario Andretti :)
  12. GTO.
  13. :booyah: She gets my approval. She got a sister? :P
  14. Funniest C&G Thread ever. Aw hell I'll say it to... PENIS!
  15. All I gotta say is, as a man who just broke up with a girl he's been with for 2 years, I'd take any shot at any bar ho at this moment lol. All kidding aside, yea it sucks but thats the game and thats how its played at times. You can find a respectable girl at a bar, just depends what bar you go to. I've met a couple of ex's like that who Im still friends with. Good people. Hang in there and keep plugging away you'll get somone :)
  16. I keep saying give it the velite styling treatment. Velite Rear, Velite nose styling and body lines. Just make it fit the Lacrosse. Dont hack it up and make it ugly. Basically what I'm getting at is do what Caddy has done with Art and Science kinda base everything off of one car so there is a brand identity. The Velite was dead sexy and all the Buick cars need to look like it. If they did a lot more people would want one. Just my 2 cents. Buick's styling has been ho hum boring and bland now for almost 2 decades. The Velite's styling IMHO is the cure to that.
  17. VERY disappointed. The Tahoe has the better styling. So much for a Envoy like appearance. Thats as about as conservative as you can get. It looks like someone took the Lucerne Front end and blew it up with an air hose. :(
  18. Velite Grand National Tempest GTO Caprice
  19. The brushgaurd wouldnt look bad on a Z-71 Colorado with a mild lift, some bigger tires and perhaps a rollbar in the back. It would complete the off road look. However just on there on the stock package looks outta place.
  20. If the glass could be made removable or slide back some that would rock. I'd love something like that on a Camaro.
  21. Excuse me, I need to clean my pants now after seeing the interior and the whole car :D
  22. The Yukon. I've seen the previously leaked shots that were leaked without authorization of the tahoes, and I was not impressed with the front end at all. However if the Yukon gets an Envoy like front end then I cant wait to see it :) Hope the new Sierra follows the same path :)
  23. Local news around here in Central Louisiana says that Tulane may open up again as early as next week or the week after. Slowly things are getting back to normal :)
  24. After seeing the interior I'd also want the gauges as well. *Needs to find a way to import the bed and the gauges lol*
  25. Ewww to the front end, but I like the bed in that first shot. Wish I could get a hold of one and put it on mine. That would be sweet B)
