  1. Much better quality, thanks for posting it!

  3. Actually I believe they pulled a 2.6L straight 6 with twin turbo's from a Nissan Skyline GTR and transplanted it into the '67 Mustang Fastback. Wikipedia is your friend...
  4. I already posted my thoughts in an earlier post as to why I think it's logical to compare the CTS-V against the M5 instead of the M3. However the CTS-V did beat both the M3 and M5 in fastest lap time around the 'Ring. Link
  5. I own an "almost" M3 with my 330i ZHP...and I like the compact size of it. The CTS from a spec sheet perspective (dimensions, weight, etc) matches up with the 5-Series, which is the rational comparison. The only people who seem to "get" this are either BMW 3-Series owners or Cadillac CTS owners -- the armchair critics seem to miss the point. Hurry up with the alpha based Caddy to compete with the 3-Series. And give a less expensive version to Pontiac to replace the G6 to take on the BMW 3-Series CPO sales. With all the leasing cutbacks, odds are the luxury brands sales are going to diminish in the coming years...
  6. About time the CTS started getting compared to a BMW 5-Series instead of a 3-Series.
  7. Hopefully that was just a Regal dressed up as a Grand National since they wrecked it.
  8. For a brief moment, Pontiac was CAR...
  9. You might want to check the year on the front page -- say 208, instead of 2008 in the headline.
  10. Seems like something Camino might add to his future project idea list...

  12. I pulled the crappy Generals that GM put on my truck from the factory. I'm on my 2nd set of Bridgestone Dueler AT's, I got almost 60K from the first set. I expect my AT Revo's to last just as long and they're even better than the last set so far.
  13. I found some pics of my 1970 New Yorker, circa 1988-1989...it's even wearing its studded bias-ply snow tires in the pic. One small rust spot covered in gray primer that I repaired with "shoe goo" to pass inspection :AH-HA_wink: I paid $50 bucks for the car -- an estate deal my grand father found -- if I could start it, I could have it! Awesome car.
  14. Wow, so people might have to buy a car they can afford? Another over due correction to the market place.
  15. Already a thread on this here.
  16. Saturn Outlook demo.
  17. It wasn't always that clean! One day I will post some of the rebuilding in the project car section...it's really a street rod constructed into stock form. It scares commuters when I take it to work occasionally. I had a 1970 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door hardtop in Avocado green with a black vinyl top and a 440/4bbl (and front disc brakes!). The front grille was steel. I loved that car!
  18. It was Jeepers Creepers.
  19. I happen to have one of those in convertible form, though it pre-dates the 70s.

  21. AutoBlog has pictures posted from the live reveal. Link here.
  22. Hidden roof rack AND an available 6-speed manual trans. Nice job Cadillac. Bring on the V!
  23. GM finally color coded the dorsal fin, yeah!
  24. 2009 CTS-V 2009 Saab 9-3/SportCombi XWD Also for 2010 I thought there was a chance the Silverado/Sierra were getting an MCE and the new 4.5L diesel engine options in the 1500s. 2009 brings wider adoption of the 6-speed autos.
  25. Fastlane also has a video of a (camo'd) Volt scale model in the wind tunnel. Link to Article
