  1. A bit of off topic, but can anyone send Lutz the G6 GXP show car stats as well?
  2. But Pontiac came up with this type of contrast... Just a bit brighter.
  3. Now I know where that rear came from... I knew I saw it before.
  4. I think you should T!6HT WH1P$ it! next word: spam
  5. That's in the case for drivers who are completely not used to ABS, and have driven non-ABS cars for a long time. ABS is supposed to work by completely slamming on it with full force. In this case, since bowtie is used to ABS, it would be beneficial to get it.
  6. The base ones don't look that bad, although the optional 17" (I suppose) looks like they rehashed the base G6's. The fascia spoke one actually looks a bit like the ones from the concept, slightly. http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/domestic/...s&page=&butID=4 I think they were trying to look like the CTS-V's, but end up looking like the Sebring.
  7. I don't mind ads, as long as they're not the annoying tribalfusion ones which circumvent browser popup blocking. I've heard from other websites that it actually harms the performance of the site, slowing down the actual content you're looking for.
  8. Well... GM occasionally would buy Jettas and Camries and part them out... right?
  9. The Optra was axed because of the new Aveo. The price point of the Cobalt and the Aveo are pretty close. And previously there are rumours as the new Aveo comes along, there will be a Matiz taking where the Aveo used to be. Also, the Optra was NOT better than the Cobalt. The 2.0L engine was horrendous, even when compared to the LN2 in my old. Cavalier. Engine was rough, and the smaller displacement engine lacked torque.
  10. IIRC, there were some talk regarding a friendly female GM saleslady who goes by the name Stace in the past... those threads were pretty common before the CrystalTech era.
  11. Well, part of my idea is to use the somewhat "halo effect" to boost the interest on other Chevy vehicles as well. Preferably all cars and trucks show up on scene, enhancing the effect.
  12. Anyone remember this? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=85...b+Suite&pl=true I thought of this and it could be an idea for a Camaro intro ad... First show a tagline: "After many years of waiting, there's something that the Chevrolet family is so happy they're dancing..." Then show a stream of Cobalt SS, Malibus, Impalas and Corvettes enter the scene doing the stunt ballets. After dancing for a short while, a covered carrier truck arrives. Camera zooms into the container, and zooming into the light fading into the Camaro sitting inside, zooming into the smooth body lines and slowly getting brighter. The Camaro then lights up, launches off from the carrier, does a short burnout and joins the dance. At the end of the commercial, the cars line up in front of the camera, with the Camaro in the middle. Tagline: "The all-new 200X Chevrolet Camaro: The return of the prodigal son."
  13. Optikleen (Has anyone actually bought this?)
  14. Oh, last Friday, on my way to a company event: Very rare in the GTA area. I've only seen new Impalas and CVs as taxis.
  15. Only if it's FWD or AWD. If it's RWD, no. Just no. Saabs should never be RWD. I've talked to some Saab guys and they think a RWD Saab is just nuts.
  16. Or a Metro Convertible... http://ebaumsworld.com/2006/04/funnycarad.html Warning: Foul Language ahead!
  17. I can see this thread potentially become a great place for personal attacks Note: not your post Chicken, but the future evolution of this thread.
  18. Thank goodness they kept it as a Skyline: http://www.nissan.co.jp/SKYLINE/V35/0511/C...AL/INFO/060413/
  19. Well, if I were to order the Solstice, I'd get both, stick shift and minus air conditioning and power goodies. CD player and all performance mods. And here's the not so realistic part: Mallett V8 conversion. Mine will be the ultimate driver's car.
  20. Your Solara came with its dose of T-brand Koolaid, and you're high on it.
