  1. Quoted for emphasis and truth.
  2. http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-PONTIAC-SOLSTICE-RA...bayphotohosting First of its kind as far as I see it. Haven't seen any other radio controlled ones yet.
  3. The primary market of the Opel and Vauxhall Astra isn't the US. It's just sold as the Saturn.
  4. Another rivival... I guess all minivans do look alike...
  5. But then I remember someone here who says it doesn't and was whining about the car...
  6. Some Jag XKs on a dealer lot. Really looks better in person.
  7. Mine does that too. And the one in the eBay link is a GT (don't know why it has the 18s), so it's the 3.5L V6 @ 201HP.
  8. Beauty.... congrats! Thinking of doing an Opel GT conversion?
  9. Ditto...I would say the design is really a love it or hate it thing. There's quite a population out there to call the design a flop, and many of my import oriented friends thinks it looks good.
  10. Well my G6 has props... I don't really care because I don't really pop the hood very often
  11. T.I.M. Anybody played this before?
  12. G6: 4900 km (will hit 5000 today) Cavalier before lease return: 44564 km
  13. Anyone remember the G6 Concept based Alero chop back in the Snitz boards?
  14. I really now regret making that Delta Saab chop. I didn't know it would give them ideas. I don't think they need one that urgent, unless a redesigned 9-3 will be significantly larger. The current 9-3 is very similar in size to a Cobalt, despite being on a heavily modified Epsilon. But if they are really to do it, I hope it's hatchback only. At least it'll have more differentiation from the Delta siblings, and true to Saab heritage. Didn't really like the idea of dropping the 3-door and 5-door.
  15. You should drag this against your Grand Am I guess you're in the same situation where I was 3-years ago... wanted an Alero and stuck with a J-body.
  16. And can we move this thread out of the Lounge so more people can see it?
  17. If you're mentioning Pontiac, it needs it. And I mean badly. A rebadged and renamed Cobalt is certainly not the solution. Buick... probably not. A redesigned Allure should work. Again, not so sure about Cadillac. Will have to see the new CTS first. If it's downsized a bit to 3-series size, then no. If it's bigger then probably, but I really wouldn't put a 4. Have something like an I6. And Saab, yes. But they have one already. Just fix up the little things and tune it a bit. Should fare well with an Audi.
  18. Well since the 2007 G6 is more of a dissappointment, and an effort to bring C&G back to dignity and less pointless bickering, here's a 2008 G6 wishlist... - Interior refresh: better centre console, larger and lockable glove box - HID Xenon with levelling system as factory option - Strut Tower Bar standard (why on Earth does the Malibu has it when it's family sedan, and the G6 not even on the top model when it's the sport sedan?) - Available 5-speed or 6-speed manual on ALL models - 2.4L Ecotec, fix the power - MP3 CD standard on all models and Aux in, preferably a system similar to Infiniti's with CD ripping - Push button start (new Altima has it, at least give the G6 some "sporty" features over its sibblings) - Manual shift mode standard on all models - Foglamps on 4-cylinder - AWD option - Side torso airbags standard, not just curtains - Ditch the 3.5L and make 3.9L with AFM the base V6. Chevy can have all the LZ4s and LZEs they want. - LEDs or Honeycomb pattern in taillamps - Heated and power folding side mirrors - Spoiler delete - Express-up windows and express-close sunroof - Real-time fuel consumption in addition to average - Blacked out headlights - Steering wheel audio control needs AM/FM/CD button That's so far I can think of...
  19. BTW, where is the "To General Motors" forum back in the pre-CrystalTech Invision era?
  20. Well... it's hard to stay on topic if you have trouble makers. And sometimes there are some good threads that get abandoned really quickly.
  21. I'm not saying it's based purely on our bitching, but sure it did have something to do with it, at least a little bit.I mean, look at Pontiac. We've gave them so many ideas and stuff, almost to the point where we are working for them like free labour. And yet look what we get? Rebadges and crap, one after another. It's about listening or not, binary question. I'm not saying how much effect we have on the manufacturers. But at least we are a channel of opinions, and I'm pretty sure we are large enough to represent a fair bit of customer base.
