  1. CRT all the way. I just personally don't like the newer tech screens, the color vibrance and contrast just isn't matched to a good ol' CRT.
  2. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=5880 I've made this a while ago, and somewhat had an idea to call the coupe a Solstice Firebird. After all the Boxster and Cayman are the same cars... so I don't see why this can't be done.
  3. Yes, most people won't (in fact Fly mistook them as alloys too), but you bet the press will whine about it.
  4. Actually about the new hi-vents, I have a bad vibe that it'll be another attacking point for the media, as in "negative is on the base model you can't get alloys". Right now on base models the only wheel available is this one.
  5. Both sunroofs are available. Panoramic and tilt/slide. My G6 has a regular tilt/slide.
  6. I thought it's sort of an open secret that a coupe is coming...
  7. They're standard on the 2ZG69 sedan, i.e. the regular 4-cylinder, with optional V6. http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/domestic/...page=7&butID=16 The previous 16" wheel cover is only available to the Value Leader sedan.
  8. No they aren't. I've seen them in person and I tugged on them. And look closely at the nuts. They're plastic covers, much like the ones on a Cavalier.
  9. Ditto. More wierd gadgets means an extra thing to fix. If one's not good enough to stay in a lane while driving, the particular probably shouldn't be allowed to drive in the first place.
  10. Nope, looks exactly like mine. I suppose the changes this year are mostly on the trim levels to accomodate the new GTP.
  11. I passed by the local Enterprise, and they have 3 2007 G6s in stock, and I took pics of one: New Hi-Vent 17": The wheels actually look better in person than the pics on the online order guide, and the tires are Hankook Optimas. Doesn't look like there's foglamps, so I would assume it's a 4-cylinder model. No V6 badge at the back. No change in the interior.
  12. The Corolla Verso is a different car altogether, also known as Corolla Spacio. The Vibe/Matrix twins are known as the Toyota Voltz overseas (now out of production).
  13. On the Impala, yes, from 242 to 233. I doubt it would be noticed anyways. And IIRC it's only the Impala that's getting AFM. Not sure about the CSVs, but the G6 for sure not getting it. EDIT: CSVs aren't getting it either.
  14. I wonder how will an updated Equinox or Torrent will do against this...
  15. As Burlapp was saying, this doesn't look NA-bound. It looks more European.
  16. Anyone seen this? http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/whokill...riccar/trailer/
  17. No, that's not my point. I'm not saying the G6 kills all, but I'm saying how they manage to frame it to sound negative, even through the reality is not as bad as how their language sounds like. But oh well... ambiguity of language... depends on how you interpret it.
  18. I'm inclined towards Nissan, but I like Mazda as well. Just get rid of the Infiniti badges and slap on a Nissan badge for me, as I always say.
  19. Why do they ALWAYS have to frame something positive to be negative??
  20. The Nav looks better, but the regular radio is still a no. It IS the one from the other GM cars, just that the power symbol replaced with ON OFF.
  21. Are those window stickers I see? Please don't tell me this is a dealer vehicle.
  22. [sarcasm]I can now get a Nissan Skyline, without the guilt of betraying GM![/sarcasm]
  23. There's some intakes here. http://www.doctorspeed.com/pontiac_g6/g6-intakes.html Someone tried fitting it on Malibus and it works.
