  1. I wouldn't trust used hard drives. Try using the manufacturer's diagnostic tool, that should give you a good picture of the health of the drive.
  2. I think you got it backwards. The multi-spoke one is the wheel for the Street Edition, whereas the standard 5-spoke goes on the base. Both of them are pathetic. Base edition is just a GTP with a tacky wing, and the Street Edition, more like Rice Edition.
  3. I thought there were talks about Pontiac getting a "small RWD vehicle"?
  4. That's worse... you rather have your parents suffer for your own luxury... Bad boy, Dodgefan, bad boy...
  5. If this is the case, it fits the picture.CTS gets, V6, DI V6, and DI V8 STS gets, DI V6, V8 and DI V8 Supercharged. Although it would be interesting to see that the STS not getting a V6 at all. IIRC BMW doesn't sell the 730i in NA. Leave the V6 STS to export.
  6. That would be uncontrollable. The Corvette's too light for that. What we need, is a Cadillac V16.
  7. This thread only proves that Dodgefan has rich parents.
  8. I'm starting my grad engineering design project this term, and I'm meeting up with my group to finalize the topic, and submit to a consultant for approval. But right now, we need ideas. We're focusing out topic on in-car entertainment Any ideas? Say, what would be great to have in the car audio/video system? Thanks for any input in advance!
  9. CSpec got it, if you're talking about the Saturn's concept Curve. But the true root of the production Sky is the Vauxhall VX Lightning Concept.
  10. 79.9 in Waterloo, 68.5 in Toronto?! Why does gas always have to be expensive wherever I go??

I passed the high-end and just went for what I needed. Runs VMWare happily and gets my work done. I replaced my old one just because I can't stand that it crashes all the time. Used to be my primary laptop till the battery died on me twice. Still runs great as a server with an internal 10 min UPS (a.k.a. dead battery). Now it's really a collectible, as IBM-Lenovo doesn't make 10.4" laptops anymore, and at 2.7lbs, still arguably the lightest in its class. We get laptops when we go back to school if we return to the company for the next term. They asked if I wanted the laptop, so why not? Free toy! Last time I returned the laptop with Mac OS X installed on it.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised that the CTS-V gets this engine. Then a blown version in the STS-V.
  13. I've left my Cavalier off for at least 2 months in the past, when me and my ma went back to Hong Kong. The car was left in an underground parking lot. Only things that went wrong is the air conditioner blower mysteriously went out, and the brakes went rusty.
  14. Recently, I found that this 500 only happens when I enter the Lounge area. Could it be the 10,000+ word associations causing the problem?
  15. Just for comparison sake: Which one is better? SLS or CTS?
  16. I think it'll do fine. And at last they are putting a locking glove box back in...
  17. Maybe it's just a preproduction unit then... They probably just plugged one in from the Aura stock.
  18. The parking lamps are on. Look at the foglamps, they're on as well. If this is the case, those vertical LED rods are sick as parking lamps. I guess this is Caddy's take on Angel Eyes. They mentioned something about this in the press revealing. Very nice.
  19. Eh... Northie... shouldn't this be under DaimlerChrysler instead? That steering looks nasty. I wonder if O.C. will complain that the dash isn't one piece with the console, since the C-Class doesn't offer bench seating with steering shifters... And the panel is still a mass of buttons, just like any European dash. Exterior looks OK, I guess. I don't understand what the guys on that forum were talking about no more hood star. There's a stand up ornament right there in the one with the regular non-sport grille.
  20. Speaking of which the snow outside is partially melting now... The storm warning only lasted for an hour or so, just enough to keep us out of school. This is just screwed up.
  21. Isn't the Lumina a better representation of what we're going to get, since it's LHD?
  22. First time in my university career life that I don't need to go to classes because of this. But by the look of things, there's only a warning, and looking outside the window there's hardly any snow.
