  1. It's probably the new electronic ones. My car has a unit-less speedo, which I can program via the DIC to be in KM/H or MPH. So theoretically it goes up to 240MPH.I'm pretty sure the G8 is the same thing.
  2. OK... I figured where this is going at... Maybe after all this is why Toyota bought Subaru, so no one will accuse them of copying.
  3. MY2008 production of the Grand Prix starts April 30, 2007. Within those few months it should be enough to sustain MY2008, till the full G8 lineup arrives.
  4. That Highlander gives me wierd feelings. For some strange reason, I associate it with an 80s concept version of the Jeep Wagoneer or something like that.
  5. I like the old logo better. This one looks as if someone used something to try to pry the logo off from the top, end up cracking it and snapping the red reflective piece off. They also reversed the placement of the G8 and GT badges. Now the car reads GT Pontiac G8.
  6. Actually this fits the picture. Grand Prix goes well into MY2008, which allows time for the G8 to ramp up. The Grand Prix can act as the lower end, awaiting the V6 G8 to arrive, and at the same time clearing out the Grand Prix stock.
  7. That truck is actually a GMC TopKick Pickup. http://www.truckmax.com/inventory/topkick.html
  8. I don't think that's how red light cameras work. The cameras point towards the back of the car, not the front. Pictures are taken multiple times when the red light illuminates, so the running car is caught in motion. The front plate isn't captured in the picture, just the rear. At least it's how it works here, although we need front plates here.
  9. Nope. I want a Club Sport model. Stick shift, all performance options (suspension system, LSD), no power options, just a CD player, a car, million of miles of headroom, and a long highway. But if they offered that with the 2.0L Turbo DI, I'd have that. I envision my Solstice to be a true Ultimate Driving Machine.
  10. Then maybe Saturn should get an Aura Red-GreenLine. Or is it Blackline, since it's (Blue+Yellow= Green)+Red = Black?
  11. I don't think that was a good idea. This will bump their recall rate much higher. 1000/1000 recalls = 100%.
  12. I like it, turns out that it's a very nice evolution of the Grand Prix. This exact with the show trim would make a great GXP model. Drop in an LS6 @ 500hp, slap on a GXP badge, there you go.
  13. Or how about... a 3.4L DOHC mated to the 5-speed manual? From a Cutlass Supreme?
  14. I thought from the original ABC pics, it was shown that it's more like the GTO Ram Air 6 concept rather than the G6. IMO it actually resembles more of the Torrent rather than the G6.
  15. You can have all you want.I just slip and fell yesterday outside the university residences and trashed my PDA's LCD Screen from the fall.
  16. OK, minus that. But it's essentially the same one.
  17. From what I see the rear looks exactly like this:
  18. Given what we saw with the Malibu and Enclave, I wouldn't be so worried with that.Saab might need it just to stay competitive.
  19. But ASIM is useless for us up here... Have one in Toronto, please!
  20. They only showed the SportCombi. I'd like to see the sedan in full before making any judgement. Although this looks like it's just a refresh.
  21. The on campus parking lot is actually further away than my home. And my car isn't going anywhere till it gets an oil change next next week.
  22. Minus -30 windchill outside right now, and had to walk all the way to and from campus a few times today.
