  1. My friend just crashed his Mazda, and now end up with a G6 rental. He was telling me he has a V6, so I'm suspecting it's a 2007 with the sport package, i.e. 17" wheels. So if I swap my 16s on and take the 17s, will they catch us and make us pay??
  2. Maybe my guess was right. WCF posted something about the Omega returning, and this could be it. Opel Zeta revisited.
  3. There's actually a "GM supercenter" in Toronto. In the same block, there's a Chevrolet, Pontiac-Buick-GMC-Cadillac-Hummer, Saturn-Saab dealer. I'm not too sure if the Chevrolet and Pontiac dealer are owned by the same guy, but it's there together, right across. the Saturn-Saab is definitely owned by the same guy as the P-B-G-C-H. Those guys have very rare models at times as well. They were one of the first ones to get a Solstice in Canada.
  4. The errors are a sign. The ghost of the Five-Hundred came over to us and haunts us now, because it got killed and took over by the Taurus. But yeah, this problem is getting annoying. The frequency of the errors went up in the past week.
  5. 2006 PONTIAC G6 V6 - 1-year Update By: ToniCipriani It's been one year and a two months on the road for my G6. Things have gone much better than the first 6 months, maybe because my car is finally broken in. Engine is a smooth cruiser, and runs leaner than last year on average. I've sort of changed my driving style a bit, and I've been hammering the engine quite often lately. Yet it still provides me a decent 10L / 100km fuel economy, in mixed driving conditions. The problems I mentioned 6 months ago seemed to have gone away, or lessened to a certain extent. The radio problem was gone, ambient temperature now reads correctly, but the engine hot crank issue seems to be around. I've talked to the service manager, and it seems to come clear that it's a common issue with the 3.5L and the 3.9L engines. There was previously a service bulletin for the 3.9L, but none for the older 3.5L in my car. The problem seems to be worse with the 5.3L V8 in the Grand Prix. The service manager was also saying that it might be due to a circuit delay of the engine immobilizer. It's not much of an issue, as it only happened once in the past 6 months. A new problem that happened was brake rotor warping. The brakes started pulsating a short while ago, and needed machining. This was covered by warranty, and after the discs were machined, the brakes were like new again. Two annoying flies in the jar, but otherwise still a pleasant ointment. I still love my car and the driving experience it provides me. 2006 PONTIAC G6 - AT A GLANCE Base Price: $24,495 As Tested: $27,895 * Engine: 3.5L OHV V6 (LX9 3500) * Power Output: 201hp @ 5600RPM * Torque: 223lb-ft @ 3200RPM * Transmission: 4-speed Automatic Current Mileage: 16000 kms Average Fuel Economy: 9.8 L/100 km / 24 MPG, mostly local driving What has gone wrong with it: - Engine Hot Crank - Brake Pulsation Due to Rotor Warp
  6. Not much actually, but still much better than last year. - G8 isn't there. - New CTS - New Malibu (the gray one) - Saab Aero X - Holden Efijy - A riced out Solstice (the green one) - New Vue - Production Lambdas, all could be sit in minus the Enclave Other some notable: - Alpina B7 - BMW 3-Series Convertible - An orange Ford Mustang GT-R - Ford Taurus - Mazda CX-9 (real thing looks like a hybrid of an Outlook and an Enclave in real life, and I'm not kidding.) - Mazda Kabura - Mazda brown concept (can't remember name) - Mazdaspeed 3 - Jaguar XKR - Audi R8 - Maserati MC12

    Snow!

Accumulated I think about 20+ inches already. It's taller than my car's wheels so I think that would be right.
  8. I don't really like the Cadillac wheel. Somehow reminds me of the steering on the GMT-800s, but I know the material is much better.
  9. As much as I hope it's there, I have a feeling it won't. CIAS for some reason don't get rare models. Last time when the Enclave was shown in all the shows (even in Montreal, I think), CIAS didn't have it.
  10. This thing would look even hotter in Black Onyx.
  11. I guess this thing is called a CL for a reason... the rear looks like an f-ing Acura. Sorry, but MB designs just don't strike me lately.
  12. The Aero X looked gorgeous, but this reminds me of At least the Sunfire design flows, but this, just looks bad. It's a sob day at Saab.
  13. I was looking for info about the G6's manual transmission, and I couldn't find FGP anywhere. I found one reference that FGP is Fiat-GM Powertrain. Is this true? If it is, could this be why the G6 is losing the manual transmission, since this is to be gone by December 2007?
  14. This guy really need a bad lesson on network security, and a swift kick in the nuts.
  15. I hope I can see this at CIAS, although I doubt it. And what on earth are all those G6 with wheel covers doing there?? At least put the ones with the custom spokes! This ain't no showroom for Avis!
  16. Yes. It's being replaced by Dark Steel Gray metallic, which will be available soon.
  17. Me here. Each network domain of mine is a brand. I used Oldsmobiles for my dad's office, and Pontiacs for my own. My desktop is called G6-GTP, my laptop SOLSTICE, and a server as VIBE (currently offline). I'm soon in the process of renaming my Virtual Machines. I've also used Opels for wireless APs. My wireless network here is called Astra, and another one is Zafira.
  18. Nothing and never will. I don't see the point anyways. It's just a money pit you're digging if you think about it. I have enough sources of expenses and don't need an extra pointless one.
  19. I saw somewhere that a previous gen W-Body Grand Prix was used as a police vehicle. But IMO, Pontiac with police package is totally unnecessary.
  20. Coronas are actually slotted between the Camry and the Corolla back then. Much like the Malibu, in between the Cobalt and Impala.
  21. I heard that the PT was sold overseas, too. Although I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Anyone have overseas PT sales numbers?
