  1. No. I explicitly asked them to not put the sticker on my car. Replacing all those are emblems of University of Waterloo on my plates, and an UW Engineering plate frame.
  2. Aisin's not GM's. It's Toyota's.But you just answered your own question. RWD = Longitudinal and FWD = Traversal. The only traversal manual unit GM has is the FGP and the Getrag. Getrag can't handle the torque, so it's only mated to the 2.2L, and it's only a 5-speed. I really couldn't see this gen of G6 ever getting a manual again.
  3. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/03/26/subaquatic_merc/ People these days... really shouldn't drive.
  4. That would be sodium fluoride, not fluorine. Pure fluorine can melt you in seconds. -> Listerine
  5. OK, I finally found out why. The headset I got was counterfeit.... [shameless self-comforting]But oh well, it looks just like the real thing, so I'll just use it and forget about it... At least it was less than half of the real thing. [/shameless self-comforting]
  6. They should just call this CTS-L.
  7. OK, this is getting wierd. Shortly I received that mail, I proceeded to eBay and filed a claim, but right after that, the seller sent me an e-mail, and a tracking number for my package, and promise it'll be here by tomorrow. So I'll see how it goes...
  8. ... I received an email from eBay that I got scammed. I bid on this auction for a bluetooth headset, won it, sent the payment, and right afterwards eBay sent me an email that the auction was cancelled. Grrr.....
  9. I don't like it. The grille doesn't flow with the car at all, looks slapped on. Especially on the first picture, it makes the hood elongated and droopy.
  10. I'm in engineering.... what do you think...
  11. 2 Acadias and 2 Grand Prix GXPs.
  12. Despite my hate for SUVs, I still don't like this. Soon this can be extended to V8 cars, then V6 cars, and sooner or later they will be forcing all of us to buy Priuses.
  13. Not until they come up with a reliable one mated with the 3.6L.
  14. Has a bit of FX45 feel to it. They really need to get rid of the two-tone, though.
  15. Are you sure you're not the press and you're not talking about Toyota? But I do agree Apples are very well built. I've used a lot of Macs and love'em.
  16. I'm not feeling for it, but that's just me. I never liked the Infiniti badge. Badge it as a Nissan Skyline 370GT, I might think about it.
  17. To be fair, the DVD-RW isn't really Dell's issue. Blame Panasonic, or Sony, or LG for that. Dell only uses their drives. HP isn't great either. Compaqs used to be much better before they got bought out. I've had two Presarios and they did me good. I've seen too many overheating Presarios and malware infested Pavillions lately. And Asus too, if you're on a budget. Asus makes iBooks (now MacBooks) for Apple and they have the tech. Both Thinkpads and Asus are great pickups in laptops.
  18. Because you don't have a choice. Simple as that. Now that I think about it, they said if I get caught without insurance, it's $6000 in fines, but at one point I was paying more than that for actual insurance...
  19. ... go up?? WTF... http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=38317 I really want to give whoever invented insurance a big swift kick in the nuts with my steel toed boots.
  20. It actually looks exactly like the current model. If these are recent, they might be testing something.
  21. Mazdaspeed 3. Why can't they release it with more colours??? The red makes it look like a Fire Deparment fleet model!
  22. S-Class might be aiming a bit high, 7-series would be a more reasonable target. But luxury fullsize, I'm all for it.
