  1. What? They're not including a free one for each Commodore sold?
  2. Hard to tell, I'd say. Each design is distinctive in a way. The blacked out, when you're actually in person, might look like the cheap stuff they put on Corsicas. But from a distance it gives it a nice hardtop look. Colored pillar looks more like one piece of panel.
  3. Not me. If it does happen to land on a magical number, I just call out "w00t" and turn off my car.
  4. Here's the story: After hearing about that from RegalGuy, I called up MIC again. Apparently their way of doing insurance is they don't have that kind if discount, and it's reflected on the premiums only. Their premium is definitely way lower than others, from what I found so far. The lady told me that, each year, I can make up to 3 claims for stone chips, and if there are more, then they will get suspicious. Otherwise, it's going to be fine for me. I need to shop around again anyways, since my policy ends in June. I'll see what they give me as an estimate, and compare to others. But by far MIC is cheapest.
  5. After next week I'm home free. This term for me didn't turn out too bad. Nothing compared to last term, when I stayed up for a whole week, stuck in a lab doing a project. I only pulled 1 all-nighter this term. Next term it's going to rock (If I make it through this term, that is). I only have 4 courses, one lecture per day around mid-day. And a big project.
  6. OK, I just called MIC, and they assured me that my policy covers it, and it will not raise my rate. So I just got it fixed, and now I have a good windshield again. Thanks for all the input, guys.
  7. OK, I guess I'll give it a shot. I'm just too scared to deal with them, and hearing the word "claim" automatically relates me to higher rates.
  8. I got a stone chip on my windshield, and it's noticeable and expanding. I went to a windshield place last time, and the guy said he can do it, and claim insurance for me. I'm too scared to actually deal with the insurance, who might raise my premiums if I have any claims. The cost of fixing it was like 70 bucks. Anyone had claims like these and end up getting their premium raised?
  9. Show me one hybrid that gets decent real world mileage. Don't throw me a copy of CR.
  10. Should've waited for a bit. The new one is on it's way and it looks meaner.
  11. If you just want the looks, then go for the regular one. This one is just too "green".Show me some real world mileage, then I'll point and laugh.
  12. So those cars that we saw earlier are all preproduction models?
  13. Digital dashes disappeared with the 1992 refresh, AFAIK.That is one damn nice Cutlass Supreme. One of my all time favourites.
  14. One would have to be nuts to buy a car like this for 8k. Hell, for 8K converted to Canadian, you can get an older EL for that and it would have less problems and has everything. It's not really the point if that car is domestic or not anymore. It's whether that person who bought that car have a brain at all.
  15. The only complaint I have: Why the hell did they write the word Buick inside the clock with that tri-shield, as well as giving it a cheap Timex EL look? It looks out of place for that cozy interior. Just give it a nice clean clock that follows the scheme of the instrument cluster. "I don't like the clock." -- James May, Top Gear

Not anymore. He now has a Gallardo Spyder in place of it.

What is Top Gear without the three and British sarcasm?
  18. He was probably looking at a picture of the CSX when he's typing it.
  19. I could see this taking cues from the tC. The rear end looks familiar.
  20. Those mods aren't my cup of tea, but can't argue that it's a damn good car. I still like the Solstice better though. Lines look less boring.
