  1. Out of my curiosity... Was there this much uproar about pillars back when the Camaro first got B-pillars?
  2. Like I said, personal observation. And re-read what I said. I didn't see one, but many of them. Not one, MANY.
  3. For one thing, I could really support that with my own eyes. There are a lot (and I mean A LOT) of Camrys with Enterprise stickers lately. Oh, and a lot of Civics, too. Surprisingly less GMs are rentals these days.Just a personal observation.
  4. That might be just a chain and derailleur cable problem. My bike, I got it in pretty crappy condition (rust on frame and wheels), was redone a week ago at the community bike shop, 2 hours of work, 6 bucks in parts. New chain, tube and tires, and brake cables. Now runs like a champ. Some old bikes are worth keeping in good condition, and might worth something some day. For sure it's cheaper to maintain it than a car.
  5. More: Corolla + Optra5 + BMW Knockoff logo (BYD F3R): http://chinese.autoblog.com/2007/04/21/aut...7-byd-auto-f3r/ QX56 + CRV + Limo coversion (Polarsun): http://chinese.autoblog.com/2007/04/24/aut...-guest-vehicle/ Brera + Sky + Camaro? (Geely Meirenbao II, previously knocked the Cobalt): http://chinese.autoblog.com/2007/04/20/aut...ly-mybo-2rd-ii/ Not really that much of a clone, looks like something from Nissan and Lada, but look at the logo, replace it with shields (Lifan 520): http://chinese.autoblog.com/2007/04/24/aut...lifang-new-520/ Can't tell which, but rear looks awfully familiar (Chery A1): http://chinese.autoblog.com/2007/04/24/aut...-2007-chery-a1/
  6. Could this be the explanation? Diesel Impala anyone? http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/03/lutz-sa...burns-less-gas/
  7. I hope you meant sporty and upper trim FWD coupes and sedans. I would be really worried and want to retrofit side airbags in my car if the average housewives' Corolla CE or Cobalt LS have 250hp.
  8. Or just do it the Miata way. Get someone to make an add-on hardtop.
  9. 300 sounds rather impossible. It'll rip that chassis into pieces.
  10. Includes first free service visit too! http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Browse/Productg...Prodid=10300426
  11. A sh*tload of Cobalt SS SCs, for some reason. They're pretty popular in the area.
  12. The new Malibu right now is still on LWB Epsilon.
  13. I just know they're dumping Caravans up here like crazy. You can get a "value package" model for like 16 grand right now, about the same price as a Cobalt.
  14. I like the third pic the best. Very sporty and aggressive.
  15. I guess at this point it doesn't really matter. I still have a feeling that's just a sign that the current gen G6 is coming to EOL. Isn't the new Malibu getting panoramic as well?
  16. I suggest you don't upgrade that. Microsoft actually removed some features in the latest version of XP MCE.If you have your heart set on a Mac, the MacBook Pros are great, if you have budget to spare. Just be careful of the build quality issues Apple is experiencing lately.
  17. The original was actually Ubuntu. It runs GNOME. Xubuntu is a fork of Ubuntu, which replaces GNOME with xfce.
  18. Installed, used it and didn't like it, switched back to XP. In fact all of us Waterloo students get a free copy. Not at all that revolutionary, I'd say. At least they did fix the annoying All Programs menu problem in XP (which made me ditch the new Start menu).
  19. Virus Infections Spyware Trojans Adware There you go. I'm moving to Ubuntu 7.04 next. I have it running on my laptop and I love it.
  20. That, or plug the hard drive directly into another computer. Or plug another hard drive into your computer, reinstall Windows on that drive. Or try this: http://www.9down.com/Hiren-s-BootCD-9-0-9670/ Not exactly legal, but has all the tools to fix up your machine.
  21. Base and GXP I think. GTP was gone a while ago, AFAIK.
