  1. You sure that's not Scion's planned minivan addition to their lineup?
  2. Nice one. All I see you trying to do is make me lose credibility.Fine, you win. I don't want to argue.
  3. I still want the black plastic back.
  4. I posted this idea a while ago... had an idea for the launch of the Cobalt. Might work for other new ones as well. Get someone on the street, preferably Toyota or Honda owners, and ask them to test drive a new GM vehicle, only to have the vehicle taped up like a camo'ed vehicle to conceal its real identity. After they test drive it, ask their opinion about the car. Then afterwards, peel off the tape on the badges, to show them it's actually a new Chevy, or Pontiac, or Buick, etc. I think it's a way to get conquest sales.
  5. Li-ion batteries are fine if handled correctly. Their discharging characteristics are way different from traditional secondary cells. Li-ion has the tendency to produce a huge current, and must be controlled by circuitry, hence the battery fires when the circuits are not designed properly. The real deal is Li-ion polymer batteries, which is an evolution of Li-ion. Smaller and lighter. Toyota probably didn't go with it because the cost of developing the proper controls was beyond the profit margin of the Prius. Marketing is marketing. You just need to learn to take it with a grain of salt and common sense. Check your spelling, and make sure you have proof before claiming something.
  6. Is it the last iteration after the final refresh? If it isn't, it's probably the LN2 2200 truck engine. I hated that thing...
  7. Then your brand isn't Saturn. It's not heading that way.Apparently the largest car Saturn will ever get is the Aura (and it's always been that way).
  8. Well since I can't find a "View your threads" or "View your posts" button like many other forums do, I do a manual search on things I posted. But this morning when I searched, the last post I made (according to the search) is back in mid March, whereas I just posted yesterday. Something going on with the database?
  9. 175km/h, then my G6 refused to go on. Engine wasn't even near peak torque, so electronically limited.
  10. They're not bad econoboxes... just need better engines.
  11. Hold on. Isn't the LS7 hand built? Doesn't that mean if the Camaro SS is getting LS7, it's very limited in production, since it's sharing an engine with the already limited Z06?
  12. Full version: http://www.utterpants.co.uk/fiction/mrpenis.html
  13. Forgot to mention, saw a Cadillac Allante as well. Mistaken it for a Maserati.
  14. I actually prefer the black plastic strips. I don't mind the yellow too. The old Saab 900 convertible looked the best in yellow, and if it had the rubstrips it paid homage to it.
  15. Allion: Looks exactly like the Belta (Yaris sedan). Premio: Looks exactly like the current Corolla with Camry styling tacked on.
  16. Pic is too small to make any judgement. All I see is a car with camo to make it look like a Pontiac. EDIT: Actually looking at it again, something tells me that it might be the next Sonata.
  17. http://fleetnews.gmcanada.com/news_flash/e...shtml#TopOfPage Typo, I guess?
  18. They must be confused. 2008 Grand Prix SOP is June 4. Today is the 2nd.
  19. Wow... 4 pages of posts, nothing from toyoguy yet. He must be hiding in a hole right now.
  20. We've seen it already, caught testing a while ago. Some guy who came from a Fusion forum thought it was the next Mazda 6. Expect the grille of the Grand Vitara crafted onto the Daewoo Tosca.
