  1. If you're used to your car enough you don't really need it. I don't use mine on my Cavalier. It's just like who needs the markings on the shifter knob in a manual? You KNOW where is the gear.
  2. Now the next thing, I just hope they make a body kit like that for the G6...
  3. It is owned by Toyota. Daihatsus are sold alongside with Toyotas in Hong Kong by the sole importer of Toyota, Crown Motors.
  4. Isn't the Montana name dropped? It's just referred as SV6 on the website.
  5. Thre's nothing really wrong about the grille on the concept, but imagine that much chrome and brushed aluminum on the front, how much would it cost and when you scratch it, how much would it cost for you to fix it...
  6. Those wheels look gorgeous!! But not too sure about body coloured grilles though. I think I see some maybe aftermarket silverish aluminum grille. Those ones look great.
  7. I suddenly thought of this idea, like a "real life show" form of an ad. OK, first grab a Cobalt, COMPLETELY camoflauge the fact that it's a Chevy, i.e. like the spy vehicles, use like the vinyl wraps on the front grille, rear end, strip the badges from the steering wheel, use generic wheel covers at Tire Rack or Canadian Tire. Next, in the streets, stop people with Corollas and Civics. Particularly look for people who make negative comments about American cars, particularly. Do a brief interview with them, and record their phrases like: I LOVE my Corolla, it's like the best car you can get... blah blah blah.... Then, challenge them to test drive the stripped Cobalt. Don't reveal to them what car is it. Make sure that they are impressed, and record their comments. When they feel it does feel like a way better car than what they are driving, take the front grille camo off, and show them the Chevy grille. Again, record what they say. Show the whole thing on TV, and use Chevy's catch phrase: "Chevrolet: An American Revolution."
  8. Technically the MR2 goes against the Fiero.
  9. See what you mean. I guess I'm too poisoned by my Cavalier :) But seriously, is pushing OnStar still a bit too quick? Shouldn't there be other priorities?
  10. I don't know, but my thinking is that when the unions start to have more power over the company, things tend to go wrong. It would sound like it's the union that's running the company.
  11. I'd rather see them develop more quality before they start thinking about this. So far I've only seen my boss being crazy over OnStar, everyone else I've talked to thinks OnStar is stupid.
  12. Well I guess there could be a few Pontiac dealers in Toronto to be considered high-volume... fingers crossed...
  13. Spotted a white 06 Caddy DTS. Looks better in person.
  14. Cobalt without the wing. But again, I won't really be considering sports cars. If it did exists, a coupe with the LT(Z) chrome would look interesting.
  15. I think it's good, in a way that they don't think in the classic GM way: if one thing is proved to be good, they put it on everything, like FWD and the Hydramatic. A good thing is good, but not when you put it on everything, even on places where they shouldn't be. Choice is also important as well. They need both AWD and FWD options. Although AWD Delta may fit Pontiac a bit better than Chevy, given that it doesn't look identical.
  16. You give me the chills. A Pontiac Optra is NOT what Pontiac needs.
  17. The HHR is Delta. That's what the Pursuit is on right now.
  18. It's not importing. It's local consuming it. It's build in Lordstown, OH. :P But anyways, I hope when this new compact Pontiac hits the shelves, it mean the doom for the Pursuit.
  19. If the price point is near the Cobalt, I might consider it.
  20. Somehow reminds me of an HHR.
  21. Whenever I'm off from school and work terms, I tend to slack off a lot, even when I have a lot of crap that I need to sort out. But I can't seem to focus on the right things, either start slacking off on the net, playing games, or watching TV series on my computer. How do you keep yourself focused on work at hand??
  22. From the front with the key it looks like a mobile hard drive rack seen on some computers.
  23. Well actually when the hardtop version comes out. Should've made that clear. Obviously the convertible won't be OK. Having a car that looks like the original Solstice concept and slapping on heavy duty suspension and transmission parts, tires, and wiring for light bars. What I mean is purely for highway pursuits, not city patrol. Leave that to the 9C1.
  24. Then how about a miniaturized Sigma or Zeta?? 'cause I don't think Pontiac currently needs a car similar to the size of the Commodore right now, unless the Grand Prix departs. But in fact I don't mind if it's FWD or RWD, as long as it's not a rebadged Cobalt. I'm sick of seeing the Pursuits floating around here. I just thought if it's RWD then it would mean more differentiation than the Cobalt/Pursuit twins.
