  1. Wait... why didn't I think of that... Middle East could definitely be where this belongs. But then why is MT saying NOT Pontiac? There's hope, guys. There's hope.
  2. Now the question is: who did they learn this from?
  3. So it does have an SS badge on the side...
  4. Horrible placement of the Chevy badge on the front. They could've just used the standard grille.
  5. This really shows GM's excellent corporate responsibility.
  6. Stupid move. That means they would have multiple cars with the same names. 2 generations later the G6 becomes G8 then people will go WTF.
  7. G is for "Go" http://www.gmcanada.com/gm/english/vehicle...c/gpg6/overview Sounds a lot like Holden...
  8. And you guys have a problem with that. How uneducated and discriminating.
  9. You're right... I shouldn't have brought the other side of the spectrum on board. My bad. HP/L advocates is just like Peter when he shoved Stewie under his pants.
  10. Does the engine in the Si produce enough useful torque yet?
  11. Not a surprise, really. The VE had been getting rave reviews since its original launch. For HUD, not a bad idea. Honestly, how much does it add to the cost? Put a tach mode, and it's a nice retro piece to add, emulating the old hood mounted tachs without the aerodynamic problems.

  13. And what makes you think that Chevy was the one who first came up with quad tails? The first one to use quad taillamps was the 1968 C10. That car was developed by Prince, which wasn't even sold here.
  14. Are you sure Pontiac should have a car named after a Hyundai?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Equus
  15. Wait 15 years. Any car that was not built purposely and tested to Canadian standards must be at least 15 years old to be imported as a classic vehicle. http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/importation.../list/VAFUS.pdf Look in page 10, clearly states that 2004-2006 GTO is inadmissible.
  16. And yet I don't understand why people are complaining about front overhangs...
  17. I've noticed an unusual situation going on. There's massive amount (and I do mean massive) of advertising for the Japanese brands going on for some reason on radio. Why I say unusual, because even the dealers that aren't usually advertising, are doing so now. It's like on the radio usually it's the same 2-3 dealers, but this morning I've heard 5 different dealers advertising in a row already. They're all claiming they're offering at least $4-5000 off the new 2008 Hondas and Toyotas, with 0.9% finance rate (Usually this is up at least 3.9% with the other import brands) plus GST rebate, and even up to $7000 on 2007s. Mazda seems worse, they're offering $9000 on some new 2006 Mazda6s. Maybe it's just the dollar parity thing, since there were reports that the sales of cars have significantly dropped, but nonetheless still massive rebates there. I've yet seen an ad that aggressive on the domestics at the moment, just the usual GM Wish and Win.
  18. Yes, but back when the 2004 Malibu was launched, the same happened. Some places started fleeting the new one.
  19. Now the question that people will hate: how many fleets?
  20. And what a great day to put a scratch on the glass... I don't have my snow brush with me...
  21. Thank you. Makes me warm and fuzzy.
  22. OK, so I am graduating very soon. I'm still working as co-op now, and have 4 more months of school to go, then it's done for me. So it's time for me to start thinking about what I want to do for full-time, for a living. A short while ago, I went for an interview with a major financial institution, and I was accepted and offered a position as a trainee analyst. However, the job isn't really exactly what I want to do for a living, *cough* programming and application development *cough* *cough*, and I honestly can say I totally suck at the stuff. I haven't taken the offer yet, I still have until December to decide whether I want to take the offer. The lady who interviewed me did tell me I did have opportunities within to switch to where I want to do more on the network side, though. On the other hand, my current boss, is in talks with his managers to try to create a position for me as full time. Where I work now is also a major financial institution, but from what I heard, the pay isn't as great as the other one I interviewed with. But the work I do now is what I absolutely love doing, networks and infrastructure security, and where I want my career to be. However, up to this point, it's unclear whether it will work out, though. There was a management meeting yesterday, and my boss will be back tomorrow. So everything here will be clear when I go to work. The corporate culture here also seems to work out for me too, and I'm pretty comfortable with the environment, since I've been working here for almost a year now, and I'm starting to know people around. So now I'm at crossroads. Should I go for a job with higher pay, and suck up to do what I don't really want to, or should I go for somewhere familiar but with less pay? So far everyone I've asked seems to tell me to go for the higher paying job, and it does seem my family will be somewhat angry if I don't take that offer. I know it's my life, but I do have to care what they think at times. Anyone with some other insight?
  23. Now that you showed this one, I do see some slight resemblance to the new Malibu. Like how the hood and wheel arches are somewhat pronounced, only the Malibu isn't as radical.
  24. On a second thought... it MIGHT not be as bad as the G6 GXP with a droopy grille... Seems to work better here.
