  1. Because then it will be the biggest GAG of all times.
  2. I was thinking Cobalt vs. Mazda 3. Oh wait... that should be Pontiac's job.
  3. It's a sketch of the upcoming Alfa Romeo 148. Anybody think this can make a nice rear for a Cobalt Hatchback??
  4. You're not getting my point. I was saying the name is relatively less important compare to the car itself, and shouldn't be the number one concern of a car design. As for 240SX, it stands that it has a 2.4L engine, but that's about it. Otherwise it just follows the naming scheme of Nissan's sport models.
  5. Hell... 240SX is alphanumeric... Again, my point. A name is just a name. It's like icing on a cake. It gives the outlook of the cake so that people will see it and buy it. If the cake under the cream and frosting is all soggy and crap, no matter what it's a bad cake. As long a the CAR is good, the name is not that important, relatively.
  6. Oh wait... someone should get BV in here. It's a blend between two of his favourites: Fiero and 240SX.
  7. Just found one: Slightly older version though. And another:
  8. Nissan Mid-4 Anyone see a 240SX in it? And it's mid-engine.
  9. Actually there was a lawsuit between GM and Chery, about the QQ copying the Spark. But GM didn't realize they were trying to sue the government.
  10. They're not trucks. Those things are only slightly bigger than a Smart fortwo.
  11. No. The current one's called Daewoo Kalos.
  12. I though someone said G6 meant Grand Am Gen 6. But counting from 1973, this "Grand Am" is technically the 5th iteration. Had a thread to investigate what G6 mean back in the forums before the fall. My interpretation: G + R A N D A M [Six Letters -> 6] ----------------------------------- G6
  13. Camaro actually is derived from the French word "camarade" which means "close friend".
  14. I have a full scale model HK Mk23 USSOCOM in Hong Kong, firing 6mm. Too bad I'm not allowed to take it into Canada. I wanted to join IPSC style shooting classes with BBs.
  15. Holy smokes... that thing is awesome.
  16. It seems to look better than the Pursuit
  17. I don't have a problem, personally. The Europeans' been using it. Oldsmobile started off with alphanumerics. To me as long as the car is good, I don't really care what the name is. I guess some of us tends to name our cars anyways :P
  18. GM Brazil's Vectra was actually based on the older Astra platform, modified. I heard they were asked to used Delta, but they opted for the old platform instead.
  19. Not really, they haven't been pressuring me. It's just the situation is puzzling me a bit. I'll see how it goes first before publicizing this in full.
  20. I don't know really know. Although she does look new, because she didn't seem to know the different between leasing and selling. When we first dealt with it, she ran back and forth between me and the sales manager trying to understand what is going on. She looked really confused. They did get me a car now. They upgraded me to a V6, and told me a slight difference. I accepted it and now they are getting the car for me. But I guess I need to deal again since I'm no longer leasing but purchasing. I just feel uneasy about what has happened, since I dealt with this straight from November till now. After all it's my first big purchase. Not too too happy with the dealership's arrangements either.
  21. Ditto. Whoever came up with the stupid idea of moving the GTO FWD shouldn't just be considered for Public Transportation, but should burn in hell, as Steve Jobs said for pirates. Although each division still should have one or two FWD models, just to cater everybody. FWD and RWD model strategies should be planned wisely. I just don't hope GM will run into the same situation they did in the 80s, thinking FWD, Pushrod V6 and Automatics, then start putting them on everything, but this time converting everything to RWD. German car manufacturers ought to be burned these days, to preserve the morality and sanity of mankind. A coupe is a coupe. 2-doors.
  22. OK, some strange situation arose for my G6. I talked to my dad, and since we wanted to lose the dependency on the co-lessee, my dad is now financing me instead, and we are going to cash purchase it. Something to do with the insurance stuff. However, I called the dealer today in order to deal the price of the car again, and all of a sudden I was told that the saleslady I was dealing with is no longer with the dealership, and now I find myself dealing directly with the sales manager. Things were wierd. I sent her numerous e-mails in the past week, none of them got replied. About 2 days ago, when I got worried about my deposit, I went in to confirm the status of my car, she wasn't there as well. and now this. Anything screwy about this? Or am I just paranoid? Why do these things keep happening? I got to say that this isn't really a good start for me on my first purchase of a car.
  23. While we're at it.... Oldsmobile dealer in Aurora. Oh wait... that would turn into Chevrolet...
  24. Probably by then they will drop the 4-cylinder altogether for a smaller model with RWD and 4-cylinder if the G6 does go RWD. At least I'm hoping so they will have something under the G6.
  25. It really depends on what kind of car do you need. I myself should have gone for the Maxx, since I needed to haul cargo around most of the time. But I got a G6 because I got sick of Chevies (my family had 4 in the past), and I like the look of a G6 better.
