  1. Design theft! Design theft! From the rear angle it looks like a Saab 9-7x inflated with an air pump.
  2. Heh, I was just interested to see if anyone else drives G6es here.
  3. I hope what they mean by "concept" is what they said about the Solstice "concept". The rear reminds me of a Touraeg (is this how you spell it?). Otherwise I'm happy with it. They really should have kept the Rendezvous name. Also, they need to put a V8 under that and call it a Enclave Super.
  4. No, just no. I'll take the older one any day. I'd rather they bring the Primera.
  5. Just wondering Mine's as in my signature, complete with a University of Waterloo plate. Pictures will follow, internet still not back up.
  6. Ditto. I was about to say that instead of a rip-off of a RR. They ripped off RR using the 300 already.
  7. That's not the 2.8L we're talking about. There's a 2.8L in the early Corsicas and Cavaliers. That one belongs to the 60 degree V6 family.
  8. Looks like a deformed Optra rear end. No worries, Cobalt. It's no match.
  9. Sigh... And it's an Ecotec!!
  10. First, take a G6, deform the roofline to make it bland and make the taillights look ugly. Slap on a Vauxhall (or to-be Saturn) grille on the front. Add H badges to taste. Ta-da! Didn't know Honda loves GM so much these days... I just see so many similar things.
  11. Wonder if anybody noticed, the Solstice's base price went up from 19995 to 20490?
  12. Grand Prix GXP in the rearview mirror. Recognized instantly by its grille.
  13. No. That's a Chevy dealer that I go to often for oil changes and I looked at the Malibu to replace my Cavalier back in 2003. The G6 dealer is one in Toronto. But anyhow, thanks for the input. It's all over. I'm in to coziness of my G6. PS: Before anyone starts hammering me for pics, I'm out of internet for the past week and probably for the coming week. I promise a full review when I fully return to the glory days of the internet. I've got plenty of good things to say.
  14. When did the Escalade get the LS2? Don't argue with me that the Vortec and the LS2 the same blocks. There are enough differences to be the different. All I can see that you are just mindlessly praising Toyota for some reason. Have you really sat in one? I have. All my friends around me drive Toyotas and Hondas, some even drive Bimmers. Enough is enough. People really have to stop bashing domestics for no reason whatsoever. My friend who has been in imports for long enough, even he admit that my Cavalier has a better transmission than his Accord. Shifts are unnoticeable on my Cavalier whereas his Accord gives him a big jerk when shifting. His Accord's even newer than mine and better maintained, as his father works at a Honda dealer and he keeps it nice and well worked under the hood.
  15. Probably the finger would be more efficient... I remember I was on campus one day, a woman was getting her Prius, parked at an illegal parking spot near the Engineering buildings. The woman saw me staring at it, and she gave a comment that it was new. I so wanted to go up and key up the sucker. Stupid proud Prius owners. Not to mention what an idiot they are to buy the damn thing in the first place.
  16. Sharkskin: My guess it's the same paint as Stealth Gray Metallic.
  17. CXS V8 Sharkskin. They had a silver CX with a V6 as well, and had a full chrome grille. I thought that one was a bit too much chrome for my taste.
  18. I thought it was a Turbo 2.0L, not Turbo 2.4L?
  19. So you're saying the Solstice is a mid-engine?? So it IS a Fiero after all...
  20. The black grille on the Lucerne looks gorgeous. It's actually black chrome, not the matte black plastic we are used to. I personally prefer it over the all chrome grille. The press photos just don't do justice. I saw it in person.
  21. Oh yes, Stace, one more thing I don't get. Then why did the Waterloo Chevrolet dealer got my report? I didn't lease it from them.
