  1. Sad but true. There are too many ricers out there. And what's worse, it's drivers like us who has no record and younger age, the moronic insurance companies have a great excuse to rip more money from us. Sad, just sad.
  2. Question is: do you really need all that power for getting to Point A to Point B?? This ain't the race for horsepower, like whoever has the biggest engine has the right of way at the stop sign intersection...
  3. Your car, I mean. Don't call the cops on me for child abuse I mean, back in the days with my Cavalier, I noticed the rougher I drive it, the better it runs. At one point, I pamper it all the time, and it constantly gives me random problems. Specifically, I had this intermittent starting problem which the dealer couldn't diagnose. But then I started driving it rough, hard accelerations, quick starts with no warmups, almost to the point that I'm doing donuts with it. But it ran much better and problem-free. But now, since I have the G6, I have mixed feelings. I don't want to rough it up, since it's still fresh off the lot, but I'm afraid I might run into the "problems" for not "driving" it. So that's my story. How do you treat your car?
  4. Hey, at least they didn't put plastic cladding on it...
  5. Actually, could it means that the HHR will get more variants? Maybe a panel van and a pickup variant?
  6. Nissan or Mazda, with a higher tendency to Nissan. My family always have bought Nissans in the past, one Mazda and now a Volvo. I hate the Volvo though. I just don't like luxury cars.
  7. I'm liking this phrase. This is what they said about the Solstice. Just hope that they won't rush this one too much.
  8. Anyone know if GM plans to make side mirror body color covers for the G6? I'm finding the black mirrors on my car more and more disturbing.
  9. Damn, how come these rims don't make it to production? Such a welcome change from the ones right now. Imagine a full set of Brembo brakes behind it...
  10. My presence is my answer. I'm at work right now.
  11. And Cavaliers too. Mine didn't have power windows, but it's replaced with a crap holder.
  12. Either works for me, whichever is available. But for tap water I put it though my Brita first.
  13. Hey, don't forget us up here. We have a special affectionate for Pontiac.
  14. But I thought you got the Datsun for fuel economy as a daily driver... Or by means you're getting the new Camaro?? Anyhow, it would've been better if they kept that Chevy badge off...
  15. ToniCipriani - A guy in GTA3. A guy who's afraid of his mom, and is a tough guy. That's me.
  16. I doubt it. It's pointing towards the inside of the car.
  17. Cross a Porsche 959 with a GT40. Retro + Retro = Ancient.
  18. I was just wondering. On my G6 there's this round thing that looks like a speaker tweeter on where the side mirror is mounted. What is it? Is it a speaker? I counted all six speakers in my car, excluding this. It appears on my friend's Mazda 3 as well, and he says it could be for the heated mirror, but he's not sure.
  19. A bored at work thread... I'll start: 1. Water from company water fountain 2. Glass of PC White Cranberry/Peach Cocktail 3. Miller Genuine Draft 4. Stella Artois 6. Glass of water fromy my Brita filter
  20. I thought it was supposed to be double-hinged, the decklid. Can someone confirm this??
  21. I have a friend taking Fluid Dynamics, maybe I should ask him or the MechEs :AH-HA_wink:
  22. I've sat in one when I was waiting for my G6. It says 183cm on my driver's license, and I don't have a problem with visibility. I just felt the interior was a bit cramped for me
