  1. Ditto. Not to mention the additional cost associated with the LCD screen added on. These VFD/LED displays are much cheaper. The whole point is to have it more accessible and affordable. Yes, the future is LCD screens, but I doubt an average Aveo driver will consider putting a full blown GPS system in their car. If it's cheap and does the job, why not?
  2. This may sound like after-talk... But going forward, should we implement a system to moderate any info with all upper managment of this site before it gets posted, if we don't have such a system already?
  3. Well, I'd say a bit of confirmation rather than speculation. Our insiders here did hint that the Astra is coming as a Saturn.
  4. I don't like the feeling on saying it's just under 15,000. Looking at current Cobalt coupe lineup, the LT is 15920, and it's the 2.2L That means the G5 will start with the 2.2L as well. Straight overlap. I don't get why they won't just bring a base G6 coupe, wheel covers, 2.4L and put the pricing along with the base sedan. Unless there is a capacity problem with the 2.4L, but if this is the case, it means the G5 won't be getting 2.4L as a starter for sure either.
  5. Not to endorse street racing, but good job. These kids need lessons taught. BTW, how come you put a 910 in your sig? Yours is an 810 isn't it?
  6. For that market, it needs to be of the Delta platform's package. Two seater coupe just won't do it.
  7. This madness must stop. Fake convertible tops are OK on Buicks, but not Impalas. It just doesn't look right.
  8. Problem is Honda doesn't have a V8. Still, I see Acura as a "premium" brand rather than "luxury". Too ricey to be luxury.

  10. Neither are people in Hong Kong, or more or less most Asian countries as I see it. People drive parallel imported Toyota Harriers instead of the officially imported Lexus RXes. Same car, much cheaper. In fact the Harrier has a cooler badge than the RX, I think. As a matter of fact those are the only Lexuses I see around back home. People are not fond of the sedans. I've only seen one old beater LS driven by a teacher at the school I used to work. MB and BMW are much bigger.
  11. Not my fav, but school is starting for me in Spring. i.e., for me: 1. Work Term Report 2. Academic Hell
  12. Not that they can't do it, but really that's not what Pontiac needs right now. I think they're better off spend more time on improving their true volumers first (read: the sedans and the G5).
  13. I don't understand why this guy would go through so much trouble making the vinyls on the thing when it is easier to sell it if he really doesn't like the thing. Sounds more like advertisement for the heck of it.
  14. Well on a side note, if the Bonnie was given one more chance with an interior mod with what the Grand Prix has now, it will definitely be right back up to where it used to be.
  15. Well I sort of see it this way. The Corvette has recently, as I see it, been promoted to the supercar class. The new Camaro is really coming in to take the place where the Corvette "departed". Lutz is damn right on the point that rebadges is what screwed Pontiac up.
  16. If I remember correctly "wood" is a no-cost option, at least on my G6 it was. Thank goodness mine didn't come with it.
  17. Um... I thought Glocks (which are plastic) are more popular. My point was, why do they need it? Just to add cost?
  18. Holy crap, is that (faux) wood in a 9C1??
  19. ... and be dirty for winter! A full user's review will follow. (And when I get cleaner pics )
  20. GM (after reading the rumour about the Outlook)
