  1. I don't even think it's a patriotic thing either. I'll probably be laughed at even harder if I drive a Chinese-built car. All they're trying to say is my car is crap and how imports are better. And is not like they will consider buying one to be concerned. I just don't get the part where me driving an American is labeled as wierd, and where did the "Chinese or Hong Kong people should not be driving domestic" thing came from. It does seem like alot of Hong Kong people (especially wealthier immigrants) are a bit of a show-off, and think cars aren't cars if they aren't imports. I hate that friggin attitude. And I agree, this is slightly the fuel that burns my hate for imports.
  2. Speaking of which, I already have friends that say the Enclave being a bad knockoff from the Touraeg and RX. People...
  3. Yes. Damn... I didn't know this one is that hard...
  4. I'm really interested to see the NHTSA and IIHS results for this one. It's one soda can.
  5. Related, but this one is NOT a Nissan.
  6. My friend said it was a "reputation" thing, as I said in the first post. I asked him why, but he couldn't give a reason. Then he went on and said I'm the one of the only two American car drivers he know. The other one, being a Pontiac Wave, he says it's not American (well it is, in a way). This is the thing I don't understand. What does American cars have to do with the reputation??
  7. Grand Prix GXP, in the dark cherry paint.
  8. Yes, a few of them. They just insist that I should be driving an import, for the heck of it. And then on to the usual claims that import punks give out, e.g. how domestics are outdated, inferior quality, HP/L (interesting enough this was given by a guy who drives the Si, and he claims he knows so much about cars. He's into modding and ricing, and doesn NOT admit it's rice), etc... They're hopeless.
  9. ... for driving domestic. I was talking to my friend yesterday, and he starts explaining how Chinese people should not be driving an American, and I should switch off from my Pontiac on my next car. He says it's a matter of reputation and it's destroying mine. sigh... This perception thing will never end.
  10. Nobody? Here's another hint: The name still exist, but the particular manufacture of this one is gone. It's related to two of Sixty8's cars.
  11. Corsa might make it. Last from what I heard is that they are passing on all subcompact cars, including the Corsa, to the control of GMDAT. So they might end up all being the same car. Might unify with the Aveo.
  12. OK, here's a hint: This model has gone through tons of evolution, and it still exists today. It has diverted from its original market at least twice.
  13. Wow... you're close. It IS a Geely. Since the name is wierd, I'll give you that one. It's a Geely Meirenbao. I'd say: Cobalt meets Integra, Alero and Supra. End result a POC.
  14. Wrong. It's an actual car made by a manufacturer other than GM.
  15. OK, before you guys start coming to me and saying it's a badly photochopped Cobalt, it's not. What car is this??
  16. Get up early Gas-happy or Slow-poke?
  17. Metro (hey, it's environmental friendlier than a Prius) Alero or Grand Am?
