Screw off pal... you don't know me so don't call me names! As far as the truck goes... my point was simply that the two trucks were not the same truck. I agree that there is an A-arm in the photos and one/both is 4WD. You misunderstood my post... again don't call names.
-
Different truck altoegether!!! This truck is ext. cab and the previous was a reg cab. and this truck has tow/haul mirrors.

By that do you mean old, outdated, outclassed, and generally needing replacement??? Come on, BMW isn't the only that builds a good luxury SUV.

Saab loses $300 million in 2005, report says

And BTW since we are talking of money losing Euro brands... what of Opel do you guys say??? Should have sold them too??? They only returned to profitability the first quarter of this year! -

Mark my words... as long as Ford owns Volvo, GM will own Saab. My guess is that you will see future product decisions aimed directly at Volvo, VW, and Acura. All of those brands are niche brands and occupy a small but very profitable area of the car market. None of the cars that these companies produce are bargains or even close to mass market however, they sell to a different buyer. GM at this point only has Saturn to fill that niche and they have a long way to go. Again, Saab could be there faster if they just got some serious product. Does anyone really think Saab would have lost money if they had a competent 9-5 replacement the year after the 9-3 and then the year after a REAL distinctive XC90 competitor instead of a Bravada remade??? For real... GM has bigger problems than Saab and some well spent money could probably help GM out! -
That cab will give you issues... it looks bigger than the rest of the class but, then you look at the guy driving and it doesn't seem bigger inside. What seems to have happened is that Toyota brought the roofline on the cab down leaving less headroom but making a "larger" looking cab. Dunno' I see them when the SA plant starts production next week.

It is DEIONIZED water that can harm you... not DISTILLED. Distilling simply is the vaporization/boiling of a liquid and then the condinsation of that liqoud to its purist form without removing all of the bonded minerals. Deionizing (or DI) is a much more complicated process that leaves the water "hungry" for ions and has the potential of stripping your body of calcium, sodium, zinc, etc. You DO NOT want DI water!!! This water is usually used for lab work where you want "free water." Water that does not have any other elements or compounds so that when you make something aqueous you don't add another unknown compound or element.

You are correct Razor. The well tasting like sulfur is more of a direct result of the close proximity to petrochemicals. Sulfur water and its smell is what usually first alerts people to the existance of coal, oil, and natural gas. Being that petrochemicals are the result of the decomposition of very old organisms, Croc is also partially right. Cows, sheep, and horses pooping on the ground do not a sulfur water make. Simply, the 'bedrock' or soft limestone layers that the BV's water is taken from is probably right above a layer of petroleum rich limestone/coal.

Much like when I sat in the Navigator when it first came out. The center console is made very cheap plastic with an even cheaper plastic hinge. When I opended it, the thing made a loud creaking noise. I turned to my girlfriend (now wife) and said "Have you experience Ford Quality (((creek))) TRY AGAIN!!!" One guy looked like he was going to lench me along with the rep answering questions...

Call me crazy but my Dodge dealer already has one of these on the lot. Not bad but, just says that Charger aren't selling THAT great out the gate.

Did anyone else see the saturn commercial last night that showed the all new Aura mid-sized sedan. It didn't look too much different than the concept but the headlights were smaller (a vast improvement in my opinion!). The car was shown along side the newly redesigned Vue and all-new Sky. Anyone elses thoughts???

Remember time is money use F/P factors at an annual discount rate of 1.5% (roughly close to inflation over time). My bet, even without the rebate the hybrid will be paying you back in 3 years. Maybe not?!

Lexus Reveals 2007 LS 460
SingleStylish replied to CSpec's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)
I'll take bets now if anyone wants to join me... I bet there is a 7-speed auto related to this one in the new Tundra. The engine has to be related also and I'll be that puts the 5.4l that's been said to be 500HP right in line. Toyota seems determined and leathal... -
Chevrolet Announces Pricing On All-New Tahoe
SingleStylish replied to Derek77's topic in General Motors
Non offer luxury amenities like DOD, rearview camera, quad zone climate control, 360 degree parking sensors, active stability control, etc... you would have to buy a QX56, Lexus LX470, or Lincoln Navigator to get only some of those features. Still a steal considering the pricepoint of the competition. For those that want amenities but none of the flash this is a steal. -

Conspiracy Theory & Buickman? What's the deal with

It's official... Call the guys in the white coats, we've got a live one! -
To show that GM uses too TOO many nameplates to produce an almost dismally close number of vehicles compared to a company that sells almost the entire amount with only ONE... ONE nameplate. This isn't the 70's Pontia, Chevy, and Buick can't all sell 500k of one nameplate off the same chasis for EACH division. My point is that 400k-300k for one nameplate is nothing to call a failure. It is darn hard to do that these days. Again... GM sells 10 nameplates to get close to what Toyota sells with 3. Period.

For fully loaded models all fully loaded with 4WD: 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 w/ Nav: $53,900 2006 Ford Expedition King Ranch: $45,240 2006 Armada SE Off-Road: $39,950 2006 Seqouia Limited: $45,060 2006 Durango Limited: $37,310 Seems as though the LTZ is a steal with more technology! -
Chevrolet Announces Pricing On All-New Tahoe
SingleStylish replied to Derek77's topic in General Motors
Not counting resale, standard equipment, etc: (pricing from Edmunds) 2006 Ford Expedition XLS: $32,660 2006 Nissan Armanda: $34,000 2006 Toyota Seqouia: $32,820 2006 Dodge Durango (not quite in the same class...): $31,990 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe LS: $35,915 To me it looks like Chevy is a value with more std. equipment and a 5.3L that is class leading... -
For the record... I am not an "import lover!" I have been here longer than you have and have supported GM up to my last car purchase. You have another thing comin' if you think I would buy import over GM if GM offered a truly competitive vehicle in the same segment. Furthermore, my point was that GM takes at least 3 times the development and rollout dollars to gain nearly the same sales as one nameplate. Fly, sorry about the Bonnerville. My mistake however it didn't change the answer. And as far as fleet sales go... whole different subject!!! PS For all those complaining about bringing in the luxury cars, the point was to include all vehicles built on very similar platforms to tally how many vehicles were sold in that segment by a manufacturer. AND DON'T EVER CALL ME STUPID!
