  1. wow i thought it was impossible to make a cavalier station wagon worse (we had an 85 total junk)... man i stand corrected.
  2. hopefully people havent became so ignorant about cars that they no longer read window stickers.
  3. in all fairness i dont blame any automotive company for faults that i see was encouraged by society. there is a sister school to my high school in scottland, when they came over here they were amazed to know that people in the 10th grade "owned" cars. most of the scottish kids all had bicycles. know why? because what they paid a gallon of gas we could get 3 to 4. prices go up when supply is outweighed by demand. it was jus a matter of time. its horrible i cant stand to look at the sign and thing 10 years ago it was well below a dollar but in my mind 3.50 is going to be cheap. we are just catching up to world prices.
  4. hmm... these are dark times indeed... but isnt the new trend to file bankruptcy these days? it worked for Trump
  5. hmmm time to camp out and flex the 2nd amendment hehe... or a least a tazer powered 2nd amendment
  6. they had one or two of his skits on holy lemon that were good. the one about airlines and the one about strange foods on another note i used to watch the flip wilson show with my parents on tv land, there was a skit he did where he was a hippie stoner weatherman that was classic.
  7. i saw a gallery link on ebaums world stating a guy from new york spent his retirement and bought a farm in portugal but i couldnt get it to open so i went looking and found this article instead about it. enjoy, and dont hurt yourself staring and drooling. http://www.intuh.net/barnfinds/index.htm story on how the collection came to be http://www.sportscarmarket.com/articles/archives/1110
  8. yeah, i had one of those holiday subscriptions that ran out in january so this was towards the end of last year.
  9. hehe i love the middle schoolers arguing on that site. the viper this the vette that. truth is they raced a viper a Z06 and a ford GT the viper was third in almost everything. it only out accelerated the z06 but i mean hello more engien. the viper was almost 1.5 seconds behind the vette on the road course and a full 2 seconds or more behind the gt. the vette won over all only because of price and daily drivability. now i would really like to see a gtr zr1 gt and a viper square off. that would be interesting. i think the post that takes the cake though would be this guy "Now the Viper ACR is *** HOT, BUT THE ZR1 IS THE BEST THING SINCE THE FORD GT. NOW THAT WOULD BE A RACE, FORD GT VS CHEVY ZR1, THROW A VIPER IN IF YOU MUST, GTR'S WOULD GET SPANKED EXCEPT ON A TRACK BUT THE GT ZR1 AND VIPER HAVE FAR MORE ADVANCED AND POWERFUL ENGINES, NISSAN TOOK THE FAGGET'S WAY OUT, TURBO CHARGE A CHEAP WEAK V6, GIVE IT 4 WHEEL DRIVE AND LOSE AS LITTLE POWER POSSIBLE FROM ENGINE TO WHEEL, ITS LIKE KUNG FU V.S WRESTING." some people need a clue and not one garnered from gran turismo or forza

  13. well the 69 impy gets it every 6 months or 3000 miles race oil, i just figured i'd give the oil life thing a swing. trust me its been pins and needles just waiting. i'm off next week so its getting changed regardless.
  14. nope flat ground, it gets exaggerated when i reverse or i am coming to a stop on a hill. for instance i cna go down my driveway and stop(its not a real steep slope)and it goes to e and low fuel comes up. leave from the driveway and ride down the road for a mile or so and behold! my tank can pull around 3 or 4 gallons out of some warp zone and make the needle go back up. i did that the other day when i filled up. dunno the math dont come out right or something. 1/8 of 16.4 is 2.05 the tank is suppose to be aproximately 16.4 IIRC i put 16.1 in the tank and well that makes 18 gallons so i guess something is amiss. i may just have the dealer ship look at it since they are about to fix a realy for the air conditioning and a bad fan bearing. warrantied!
  15. dark side of the moon helps me sleep, us and them specifically. the 2 disk set Echoes is pretty good coompilatation of their stuff too.
  16. see the only reason i ask is cause i have waited before and around 6500 it came on and so i changed the oil and filter and everythign was great. the past 7000 miles i havent exactly been kind to the colorado so i figured it would trip soon but it aint. i dont really trust the fuel gauge either. it said i had an 1/8 of a tank and when i filled up i pumped 16.1 gallons in. the road's tank is 16.4 gallons.
  17. to tell you when to change the oil? i regularly changed mine at 3500, then 5000, then i decided to let the oil life meter tell me... its been almost 7000 miles and it hasnt chimed in yet. i used synthetic so i supposed that has something to do with it.
  18. the snell aint hooked up?
  19. wasnt there a study a while back saying there were highschool stundents in the us that couldnt find their state on a map. on a related note i remember seeing a commercial on tv where a guy asked a woman on the street to name a ficitonal island. her response: rhode island. classic.
  20. geez i remember when i was younger we went on a family vacation in my dads 86 monte carlo, it was the classic burgundy on burgundy color scheme. we went into mcdonalds to eat and my sister left her crayons on the back window tray. didnt take long for cheap crayons and july temps to disagree. i cant remember how dad got all that out of the back window.
  21. "Whose fault is this? In no small part, Detroit's executives. Yes, Asian car companies cheated. They kept us out of their countries and kept their currencies weak. Yes, our government changed the rules so foreign brands could sell in domestic dealer showrooms, making it cheap for them to attack this market. Yes, our unions helped by ignoring the destruction they were causing until it was almost too late. State governments helped by giving foreign carmakers huge tax breaks when they build plants. Then there was bad luck, or whatever it is that has pushed gasoline prices to $4 a gallon." plenty of fault to go around. fret not, they wont be alone
  22. hehe just do a post for each word in your sentence, should be there in no time
