  4. my dad had a burgundy 87 ss and he had white spots come up after it rained on the car with the hood warm. he'd have to buff and wax it every month to keep them at bay. we never figured out what was up with that but we suspect the clearcoat was bad and the water was getting into it somehow.

  15. i remember the OEM tires on my dads 94 z28 were the goodyear eagles. they were toast in about 25K miles waaaaay to soft of a street compound and when we went to replace them with OEM again it was $850 (in 1995) ouch. i think falkens went on it instead, it just got its 3rd set about 2 years ago 64K miles currently on the clock. i believe it is sporting the yokohamas this go round. ive always wanted to use that hehe

  18. We've just found the world's smallest Ferrari key. What's it ignite? How about one of the world's most excruciatingly detailed 1/8-scale miniature hand-built Ferrari F40s? Check out the mega-gallery of master craftsmanship below. A highly trained model enthusiast member of the Model Brouwers.nl forum has managed to make us feel like smaller, weaker men than we actually are by carefully assembling this 515 piece Pocher 1/8 scale miniature Ferrari F40. Not content with realism that the Pocher kit provides, he cranked the dial to eleven by including a 1500 piece photo-etched Autograph transkit into the mix. http://jalopnik.com/5320344/worlds-smalles...errari/gallery/ Holy... Dookie...
  19. I am trying to focus less on the national or even global picture to an extent. I keep tabs on the local and state and important issuess, but what will be, will be. I am focusing more on my direct needs for the while. Upcoming house purchase, paying off the impala's loan, a serious relationship. i am going to put most of my energy into the community and to my family and to heck with everything else. isolationalism has perks and drawbacks, but on an individual's local level i think there is a need for it right now. once i get the house i am going to start searching for that next project. my great aunt has a 63 ss 327 4sp black on red original owner. there is a guy at my church with a 71-72 camaro in pieces maybe i can snag. there is even an orange 74 pontiac formula 400 tucked in the woods on the way to my girlfriends house. who knows what the future holds. "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
