  1. Its looking like a very nice car. The rear has a strong Altima flavour, but the general proportions look more appealing.
  2. ...which some may argue was another major selling point. I don't like this "VUE" styling at all. It didn't look better in person IMO, not the blue one at NAIAS, or the silver one at CIAS. Way too Korean looking.
  3. Welcome to a few weeks ago, gm4life!
  4. I was a Chevy dealer for bit. Its pretty much as carbiz said, but depends on the dealership. You get a desk, wear a suit, drive cars, so in that respect its really cool. On the flipside, you gotta be a tricky bastard to make the sales, or your toast. Some dealerships are very relaxed. Just recently, I went with my brother to an Acura dealer. The sales guy was extremely laid back, and gave us a CSX to drive alone, letting my bro drive using my licence (he had forgotten his at home). He then laid out all the numbers as transparantly as Iv ever seen. At a Chevy dealer not long ago, the sales guy was extremely high pressure, would gloss over the cars features, and really wanted the sale done that day. He fudged the numbers, and wasn't very honest. He even did the "phone bit", where his phone rings in the middle of negotiations, and he proudly says "Im with a client, let me call you back", then tells you that was a happy customer. Mmm..hmmm 100% TRUE!!! If you have prior sales experience, and your good at selling, then you have a chance. If you just love cars, and want to be a "good guy dealer", be carefull.
  5. I like garage sales, simply because you can sometimes pick up old car magazines for next to nothing.
  6. Speaking of inside, Id love to see what the production interior looks like. The exterior is a solid "meh". I think its cleaner in execution than the Camry though. Thats not saying much.
  7. My dealer just got one! Took pictures and video this morning http://www.cheersandgears.com/enclaveowner...wtopic.php?t=62 Its amazing!
  8. It doesnt suit a car that nice to have vinyl lettering. My 2 cents.
  9. Off topic... 68..why oh why did you affix "Le Sabre" script to the front quarterpanel???
  10. Doubtful, as the W body will be put to rest when the Flex-plant is up and running at Oshawa.
  11. Thanks for the tip. It could be a number of factors as to why its being delayed. Perhaps Oshawa won't be ready on time, or they want to continue the current cars a bit longer.
  12. I love these types of threads. Someone from GM is reading this and laughing their asses off I bet!
  13. I like that "extremely well" drawn diagram Raven! Funny how the next pic is the real car, in the same color. A great design by Giugiaro.
  14. I think I may have seen this car on the road sometime last year. It was less riced then, but a Neon with Altima taillights really sticks out!

  16. Digital dashes were offered from 1988-93. In 1995, the Cutty recieved its upgraded interior, but it was the last year of the 'vert. I love how clean that ride is, but would prefer a red 1994 with the older style dash and 3.1 V6.
  17. Man, that is a lovely interior. hmmm..... 2008 Buick Lucerne Super: 2008 Buick Park Avenue:
  18. This post right here, basicaly sums up why this "new" Liberty interior is (flame suit on) crap. Try harder DCX.
  19. The two above commercials are deeply wierd. Heres one I find funny (maybe Im wierd)...
  20. You did it! Way to go Sly!!! Massive cheers to that!

    Subaru B9

You hit the nail on the head. This redesign is just the planned Saab model, minus the grille and some details in the lower bumper. Look at that Saabish windowline. Even the Saab wheels! Good eye!
  22. UPS eh? Iv had my 4 month stint as a pre-loader, and it wasn't really much fun. They payed weekly however, so it was all good. Talk to polish_kris, hes a UPS driver. Fun and hectic job. (picture taken after a 7 hour shift lol)
