1. Good advice Oldsmoboi, thanks! Hmmm, I found this (1994-1998 Grand Am V6 website): http://bmtphoenix.proboards18.com/index.cg...y&thread=42
2. So, it was bound to happen. After 2 and a half trouble free months of cruising, the Achieva hit a snag. Last night, I went to get some food, parked the car, ate. All systems go! Turned her back on, and the volt needle drops down, Charge light stays on: Upon consulting the manual, I get this: The car drove fine, but I noticed it ran quietly. Before this happened, the car would buzz a little at a stoplight. Could it be what the manual says. A drive belt was loose and gave up? Things look okay under the hood, all grounds are grounded. I didn't have time to go to a shop today, but I did take it for a short drive to see if anything changed. Light stays on, needle way below where it should be. As a bonus, just before I got home, the ABS light came on. When I turned it off, and back on, it went away. I did not feel the pedal do its self test though. Crap, I hope my ABS is not on the blink. Any input, insight or comment would be greatly appreciated. I am going to a mechanic tommorow morning. I just don't wanna hear "you need a new alternator and or battery", but that could be the case. And yeah, I know there is a dead fly inside my dash!
3. Fuel system cleaner I highly recommend. Fuel filter, Im not so knowledgable on. When the Achieva recieved its new fuel tank, the mechanic opted to use the old fuel filter, saying it was still fine. He said Id be wasting money on such a minor thing. The Achieva meets or exceeds EPA estimates, so Im not sweating.
4. Outside: FUGLY! Inside: Very nice!
5. QUOTE(GMTruckGuy74 @ Aug 7 2008, 12:20 PM) Apaprently the Firenza did get that frontend treatment, a'la Ciera, for 1988. Here's another picture, this time of a coupe model, as featured in the 1988 movie "The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!": Holy crap!
6. Awesome thread! Brought out a bunch of posters I havn't seen post in a while! I have yet to see a facelifted Oldsmobile Firenza (not many Jbod Firenza's around, but I did see a mid 80's one not long ago). I didn't even know these got a Ciera-style facelift!? This pic comes from Wikipedia: 1982-1988 Oldsmobile Firenza photographed in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Maybe I have to go to Montreal...
7. Demolition Man! All the cars, but most of all that red 1970 442!

14. Its so annoying how Click and Clack keep laughing amongst themselves. And Al Gore with his slides...
15. Looked far and wide today, but only found this:
16. A point about the 300M that you so called auto enthusiasts should know (it was disscussed on C&G not long ago). It was designed to be the new Eagle Vision. It magically became a letter car in name and badge only. Achieva milage right now: about 22MPG (90% city)
17. What a beauty!
18. Welcome back Olds Guy! I still can't find the Camaro...

20. OK, I don't have anything from 1991, but I did scan some Player's Challenge stuff you might enjoy! Nov-Dec '86 April '87 August '87 November '87 Jan-Feb '88
21. Im digging through my old "Formula 2000" magazines. Its a Canadian car magazine written in english and french geared to Canadian autosport. They have a ton of Player's Challenge articles!

23. Fantastic pictures! How did you manage to keep the Torrent so clean with all that travelling?!
24. IMO GM Design walks all over Chrysler. The execution, level of detail, and concept-to-production execution is head and shoulders over the Challenger. And I LOVE the interior. I have a strong feeling that many will to, once they have had some seat time. The first pictures don't do it justice. Go see this start up animation: http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro/multimedia/
