  1. Actually, I must have been thinking about the Buick Lacrosse concept, which looks better than this heap.

  3. This concept cars has some major fans on this board, but I never liked it. I saw it in person at the L.A. Auto Show.
  4. I've also liked the SX4. I like the large greenhouse, which kind of reminded me of a modern day Pacer, and the overall nerdy looks. A great value for the money.
  5. Happy birthday Dear Leader!!!!
  6. Congrats on the truck. It's a beauty.
  7. Sad, but it's too hard for the little guys to compete here. They've their hits and misses. You have to feel a little bad for anyone who's bought one recently and the instant drop in resale value.

  10. Funny. That's an Olds Delta 88 Royale.
  11. BV, you do have a way of taking great photos. The Avalon isn't too different from a Millenia, so I can't fault you for getting it. It's like a cut-rate entry-level Lexus. And yes, Blue Knob sure stands out. Glad things seem to be going well for you.
  12. I'd take this over a BMW or a MB. I drove the last generation model. My only real complaint was the overboosted steering, which could be considered appropriate for this class of car. I still haven't warmed up to the spindle grille, though this one appears to be a little more better integrated than some of the others. I like the aggressive treatment of the L-Sport. I took my IS300 to the dealer this week for service, and it cost less to service than my Silverado, plus the Lexus dealer gives a carwash and a $50,000 loaner Lexus to drive.

  17. A Nissan Axxess might also be a contender. I'd have to give a nod to the Chrysler twins.
  18. I like it. It's a huge improvement over the existing Forester, and not as choppy looking as the Impreza.

  22. Happy birthday, Cort!
  23. In the late '70's, the Chevrolet trim levels were Custom Deluxe, Scottsdale, Cheyenne, and Silverado. The corresponding GMC trims were Sierra, Sierra Grande, High Sierra, and Sierra Classic. The third trim levels, Cheyenne and High Sierra, got the smaller insets. The top-of-the-line Silverado and Sierra Classic trims got the full inserts.
