  1. BV Since Ill be a pro with the GA after tuesday when the kid gets it back. for $7900 and 2 weeks Ill rebuild the engine give it high compression, all new cams, and Turbo it. Put a Oversized radiator and air to water cooled intercooler. with closer ratio transmission gearing. So what do you say. *Fine print I get paid $89 an hour* **and I will put a hood graphic that says "whos says a Gay Guy cant have a Spectacular car"** Over heating hmmmm. Did you ever open the hood and see if there isnt a buch of crap on the raditor. Or you can shift at 3500 rpm not 6500 every time Mute one day you will get a car you want and that day is when you seat behind the wheel of a Caprice and not the back seat thats a horrible day trust me.
  2. just because of the play boy thing hanging from the mirrior. Not because its a honda.
  3. Since I got my Caprice's 305 not a 350 tuned up you cant tell it's started when idle. and the transmission, you cant even tell it shifts. the reving is very smooth. Accleration is amazingly smooth to, unless you spin the tires. plus nothing beats the thoatyness of a old V8 not them new computer controlled v8's that sound like 4 clyinders. I need an old Distributed and Carbaurated V8. No sequenctial fuel injection or forced air intake. no computered enhanced blaster coiled spark.
  4. Im sorry i ment that like a joke, since it would be crazy to wrap your springs and struts in foam. Every car makes rattles there there is no way to stop it. But reading your post i did use some of that foam on my radio plate. thanks.
  5. Hell the only booming town is Jackson because thats where the prison is.
  6. I thinking of you today as I tore down a dark green GA coupe 4 clyinder today. I got the motor up on a stand and the pistons droped out. The OD siad 207,666[0] isnt that odd? same thing spun connecting rod bearing. The cause was lack of good oil. Is was a quart low on 1 1/2 year old oil. honeslty though this engine was in its prime. Very few wear spots. Makes me wonder BV. And it was a 17 1/2 year old kids car. hmmmm. I told the kid I could make it faster than stock with an extra $2500. So I'll eat the machineing and buy Intake manifold and Exhaust and pocket the rest But yeah high miliage go for an older car they become cheaper..
  7. I Like V8's in passenger Cars like My Caprice Also like cars like the Camaro. Now wiht V8's being fuel effiecient they are resonable and sensible to own.
  8. hmmm..... You could put some around the suspension parts. Since thats where most rattles come from.
  9. yeah I forgot about BMW. They are veyr nice cars and have good performance but yet I can never justify the price. Way way over priced. Thats why I wonder what people see in them.
  10. There is no general Topic that has a mixing bowl of everything. When I went to the show today I noticed that Ford had the most Eye Catching Display. But when I walked through there the only car that really i stoped and sat in was a Range Rover. I dont know if Fords lets make 5 cars and make 15 different names and 3 companies idea is working. DCX Convinced me that they have no creative designers. Imperial rip off of a Rolls Royce. 300C rip off of a Bently. Challenger rip off of a "Challenger". Id rather own a real '70 Challenger. but there displays was not clustered together and was welcoming. Audi was blindingly bright. but it was clean. They go down on the list for not letting people sit in the A8. MB was OK nothing really eye catching or different to me this year. Except the "penis enhancing" SLR. the whole car was good until the long round silver arrow shot out of the car. At Least you could sit in a 911 Boxster this year. Toyota and Honda are in the same paraghraph because once again they have annoying sales people runnig up to you. Plus to me I saw plain cars. nothing at all caught my eye. that RAV4 is butt ugly. Scion gets its own 2 cents here. I didnt even walk into the booth and the lady handed me a hat or somthing and said you won. I knowing I'd never be caught near that waste of sheet metal and the rolling toaster ever in my life, Said "look I would never in my life have anything that said foreign POS automanufactor in my hands or my house". A Union family was behind me all wearing Ford hats applauded and laughed. The Dad came up to me and saw I was holding a GM bag and said "thanks for helping us out" I returned and said "Why wouldn't an American support there own country." He smiled and patted me on the back and left the area. But since i yelled POS out really loud I drew a slight crowd the Scion lady just really caught the wrong person and was panicing. So i Said "Im sorry but I dont like toyota and I will leave now so you can force your Advertisment on some other person." GM really had alot of people in there display. I heard alot of good and bad things about there cars. Saturn had some people around the Sky. I sat in Solstice before teh public did at a Tech Center show, but I waited 10 minutes to sit in it again. I love it. The ZO6 and SSR are awesome too. I love the Silverado SS now to spent 20 minutes talking with a sales rep about it. as long as i can get 4wd i will think about it. Did anyone catch the "Sky Experience" that was odd that little room. As always GM"s Display was crowded with cars. and no room for people. The Camaro is cool as i allready stated every were elese. Buick had alot of young people around. Pontiac was packed but I hate the G6 vert. Hummer had a line wraped around the H3. All in All It was a good Auto show. The Bums were horrible if you parked in Joe louis though. I had Fun hope you guys did to. Post your ideas on the auto show as a whole did you like Cobo's setup was there way to many people there. (OMG THE PEOPLEAGE WAS INSANE) I cant wait to see what NAIAS 07 will bring. My opinion says the GM had the most intresting setup for the auto show and is really changing there image. I think they will do good this year. (I Hope)
  11. The Caprice is tortured every day its driven. I give it 5 minutes to warm up. Then to get everything moving, I give it 1/4 throttle out of the driveway. first stop sign. launch it on the road. First stop light, giv it enough gas so that it pulls but doesnt spin the tires. Since Its been fixed tho it runs even stronger and better. I havent really floored it yet but come the right time on the right patch of ice I let er rip.
  12. Off Topic CD/BP is there a face in your sig? My Sony PSP shows pics so clear and zoomed in. I Hate typing on the PSP.
  13. This cool guy named capriceman.
  14. hmmm. Id rent a Ford tarus and fix my car most likely. but, A used Metro! But really mostly either a GP GXP or live on Bush Beans for the rest of the year and get a CTS-V.
  15. if they do id buy used GM. Then to have a new car, since I see no End to the Crown Vic line, I'd buy a Crown Vic. They do Appeal to me. laugh and point but i love V8 Big Cars.

  20. Id pay 80,000 for a car that just had the engine siting there with some space around it i want it so i can just look at the engine all day
  21. so there are some actual working suspension parts under there.
