  2. This is the biggest croc of I have ever read.
  3. Only if C&G becomes a GM news site.
  4. From the "You can't make this sh*t up!" file: That's a mid-90s Seville, with a complete bedroom ensemble attached to its roof. Yep - a night table, dresser, and a desk were all there. So was the mattress and boxspring. The trunk (as you can see) and the back seat of the car were filled to the top with junk. The body was just about resting on the wheels. Such a shame - I still like those cars.
  5. I love this car, and its steel-roofed counterpart. Note to GM, please don't dumb it down for production.
  6. Simple solution for the chronic complainers.
  7. I also believe that's part of the reason for the smaller gas tank size. Gas might sit so long in the tank that it'll go bad. More Voltage can be found here
  8. It looks so much better when GM executives aren't hogging the camera. That's a sweet interior.
  9. Why does Caddy care? Exactly how badly can Pontiac hurt Caddy if Pontiac only exists in GMNA and Caddy is global?
  10. Meet the Volt ~September 19, 2008~ What better way for GM to celebrate its 100th birthday than to show off a vehicle that will no doubt have a crucial role in defining GM's next 100 years. Today, GM dropped official, unobstructed views of the production Volt. No Camo, no tarps, no GM executives standing in front of it. While much has changed from the concept car, the production Volt is quite a looker in its own right. Prius, you've been served! Official Production Chevrolet Volt Photos --- Happy Birthday, GM! ~September 19, 2008~ Cheers and Gears takes this opportunity to wish Genreal Motors a happy 100th birthday! Thank you, GM, for a century of beautiful cars, innovative technology, and for being such an integral part of American culture. May your next 100 years see you continue to be a leader in the auto indistry. Celebrate GM's 100th Birthday
  11. Happy Birthday, GM. Don't forget what got you this far.
  12. Arguably, the 55 did more for Chevy's image than the 57. It also was the first year for the small block. Plus, there's a 55 in my dad's garage, so 55 FTW
  13. Based on the grille, the Blazer is probably a 95-97, which makes it 11-13 years old. Can they get this guy on statuatory rape?
  14. OK then go west, like to exit 64-ish. While on my bike once I gawked at one parked in a driveway in Ridge. Good thing noone was home
  15. If handled correctly, the 5th gen Camaro could be a nice transition to a lighter Alpha 6th gen. Everything depends on how well the V6 model does. It does seem that it'll end up being a very pleasant vehicle to own all around and may attract customers that might never have previously considered a Camaro. GM needs to give plenty of marketing $$$ to push the V6 model (we know the V8 will be pushed). If they do that and people lose their prejudices they might have formed against the Camaro from past generations, the decision to make a 6th gen should be easy. Also, running changes for the sake of increased MPG are very possible. Tweaks to the DI system in the 3.6L can be done with a software flash, and dual-mode hybrid systems, E85, the DI 2.0L, and DoD are all still on the shelf.
  16. Drive out east a bit. I see a couple of G8s regularly when I drive/ride. Interestingly, despite the gas price situation not one of them is a V6. What I don't see are GM ads that advertise the car and not the deal of the minute.
  17. That goes without saying. But by you stating that you think the NG LaCrosse will have a soft, lumbering ride with numb steering, you're implying that you expect the NG LaCrosse to be worse than the current car, as the real-world experiences with the current LaCrosse in this thread prove that it's not a floaty handling mushy steering car at all.
  18. Ven, don't mind him. He just has an extrordinarily large colon. How else can you explain all the sh*t he pulls out of his ? I had a CXS for a week a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what suspension bits it used vs. the CX/CXL, but the car felt very composed and responsive on the road. The car felt surprisingly taut - not that far off from my dad's Intrigue - but with just enough softness to make it a great long distance cruiser. Steering was very responsive with no play whatsoever. Anyone who doesn't think the next LaCrosse will improve on this has gotta be on something....oh wait.
  19. And you know that because you've driven the LaCrosse, right?
  20. I could tolerate Nickelback until they came out with 'Rockstar'. What an original idea...singing about wanting to be famous Could you guys please take back Avril Lavigne, too? We'll keep James LaBrie and Shania Twain, though.
  21. It's probably in your cache. I'll bet the car is overseas and he needs that as a deposit so he can begin proceedings to ship it here. One of the bad things about craigslist's format is that idiots like this are all over the place, like the guy in NYC who's been trying for the past several months to sell a $150 Wal-Mart road bike for $300, or the scores and scores of personal ads that end up being leads for "escort services".
  22. Not that I'm taking sides, but Obama said the same thing about Hillary's health care plan.
  23. Sweet! Can't wait for the Epsilon II CTS and Gamma XLR!
