  1. 75% Honolulu 70% Seattle 60% Austin 60% Denver 60% San Diego This is the second time I've been told by a quiz that I should live in Seattle. I don't think I'd enjoy the climate as much. As you know I'm a Southwesterner at heart. San Diego would definitely work. I could probaly swing Austin since I liked my time in San Antonio. Even though I selected being near water as a requirement, I could do Phoenix. I'd also consider Corpus Christi.
  2. I'm not sure if it's programmable or not, but since I use the key fob 99% of the time it's a non-issue. To me, it's a reminder that says "Hey, you're locking your doors in a a different manner than you normally do. Make sure you have your keys because you're screwed if you hit that button again and you leave them inside."
  3. There were software issues on the ISP end of things. We should be good now.
  4. Another nifty Cobalt feature is the one where if you use the power lock buttons in the car (not the RKE fob), you have to hit "Lock" twice to lock the car. Hitting it once produces a warning chime, as if to tell you to make sure you have your keys.
  5. Camaro>Challenger>Mustang>G37>Genesis>rock>Milennia
  6. Why not just sell it and get the car you want? 5K should fetch you a decent Jetta.
  7. Yes, we have speed sensitive wipers. I found that out the same way you did. I don't care what everyone says - Chevy put a lot of thought into the Cobalt and it's a fine car.

  9. I'm not really familiar with the going rates for these cars, but this sounds like a deal. http://longisland.craigslist.org/cto/1171872617.html
  10. No test drive for me, but i did sit in a black V6 model w/o RS package while waiting on my car at the dealer this morning. My butt is eternally grateful. Pics here
  11. Dounds like a sweet ride. You know I love those things. Is the engine a direct replacement for the TBI 350 that came stock, or is it something more potent. Does it have the rear barn doors?
  12. You should be able to access the site via http://cheersandgears.com now. I had to add an entry to the DNS table for it.
  13. You can probably find the 16 inch alloys that came with the upper trims on eBay. Or, you could try to find a set of Ion wheels and get a set of Chevy center caps.
  14. I don't think they've ever made an SUT, as in, an H3 with the rear window cut out and a midgate added. But the H3T (traditional pickup truck) is out. Man, GM better find a way to get the Ute here and fast. You just know at least one rag will herald this...thing as the new El Camino.
  15. Just stay the course and go to law school. You'll fit right in. I suppose I wouldn't mind cooking. There can be a certain art to it that gets lost when you've got to feed a room full of hungry mouths in between soccer practice, homework, etc. Ovens with timers can be a lifesaver. I've noticed that more men are taking it on, prefer to do it, and can even do a better job at it.
  16. You are absolutely right CaddyXLR-V, but I guess what what Olds and I are saying is, "never underestimate the power of stupid people." The masses have been conditioned to think that smaller = more efficient, and when gas prices do go up, Buick will be ready for those people.
  17. Exactly, which explains why last year so many people unloaded their already-paid-for midsized cars and SUVs that got 25-30mpgs to go on a waiting list to pay over sticker for a Prius that gets them 40mpg I've long been an advocate fora properly done compact car for Buick, and now that the G5 is history, such a car becomes crucial for B-G's survival. My personal preference would be for Buick to get its own unique car, but this could work, and better the Astra than something from GMDAT. I think GM will have an easier time justifying the Astra's higher price point as a Buick than they did as a Saturn.
  18. It's Toyota's way of encouraging safe driving. If you're going to change the radio, NAV, or HVAC, you're going to make damn sure you have enough time to slide over so that half your butt is on the console, strecth your right arm all the way out, fiddle with the appropriate knobs, and move back into your seat.
  19. Yeah balthy's way too closed-minded.... Then again...no thanks, I'll pass.
  20. Shakespeare in LOL:
  21. I'm convinced that when Jesus Christ returns to the earth, he will take the form of a Hyundai Genesis coupe. Is it possible for the rags to gush any more over this car? Their "dream" lineup for Pontiac is pretty stupid anyay. No muscle SUVs or crossover could've saved Pontiac. The only idea of theirs that I like is the Mini competitior. And they tossed the Solstice, which was about as Pontiac as could be. Fact is, we can go on and on about what Pontiac should've had. Corporate infighting and poor decision making on GM's part led to Pontiac's death, and that's that.
  22. Have the system pressure tested before you do anything else. it's very likely that you do have a head gasket leak if it's finding its way into the exhaust, but a pressure test will at least rule out an external leak that's less involved to fix.
  23. We're on a scalable VPS. As we need more, we take more. What BBCodes are you referring to?
  24. Move complete. I have a PHP redirect in place on the old server that points us here. We ust need for the DNS update to take effect and we'll be good to go.
