Taillights are a big issue with me. Automakers seem to be at a loss as to how to create a unique looking taillight setup. It really makes you appreciate cars like the Deville, Corvette, and even the last Impala....even at night, you knew what you were following.

It looks soooo hot on that cover. Just....gorgeous. I can't wait to see it at NYIAS.

You're trading it all in for a shot at obtaining 2007 Toyota Camry VIN#00001? j/k, of course.

The Mark Opolo. Lincoln's second attempt at rebadging the Explorer. The Mark Anthony - The Official Lincoln of Jennifer Lopez OR A Lincoln fit for an ancient Roman Emperor.

You know what...our constitution allows for free speech, as do the constitutions of most other democracy-based nations. I think it would annoy the creators of these cartoons more if we just let it roll off our shoulders. They (the cartoonists) want to get a rise out of us. Let's not give it to them.

Check this thread out: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=5209 Though it's probably not the answer you want.

I think this is the part where Sixty8 comes in and makes a comment about yor 'FWD' license plate Beautiful, beautiful cars. The GTO in red is amazing. At a nearby dealer there's a red 06 with the SAP with body color grilles that's just . I'm very tempted. I know you said you work your trucks hard, but that Silvy looks like it barely breaks a sweat.

Sweet!!! My father's in the middle of a frame-off on a '55 Bel Air. We might be dropping the body back on this coming summer. Those rear tires look nice and fat. Are those the stockers, or did you install minitubs? Either way, it looks fantastic.

It sounds like the PCM may need to be reprogrammed to adjust for the increased airflow that the lumpier cam provides. More air leans out the air-fuel mixture and can cause some rough idling. You'd probably have to tell the PCM to get the injectors to squirt a little more fuel in so that the engine gets the proper air/fuel ratio. Once you get that right, the shake should go away, and you'll have even more hp B)

3 HHRs, and a full-sized GMC van with an identity crisis. It had the GMC and "Vandura" badges, but there were red Chevy bowties on the fender and on the door-lock cylinder guards

IMO the only reason to buy a Sebring is the convertible. I rented one for two weeks a couple of years ago while my truck was incapacitated. It was a stripper, but still had most of what I wanted. It had a nice ride and handled nicely....I remember hanging with a 350z turn for turn. There was some mild cowl shake over potholes, but nothing too terrible. My biggest negative would be the ong term reliability of the engines used in the Sebring. I've heard nothing but bad things about the V6s, especially the 2.7L Chryslerbishi motor. The four I had was fine, but then again I got the car with 750 miles on it.

Yep, I'm a Westerner trapped on the East Coast. I absolutely love it out there. The dry air, the openness of the roads (once you get out of city limits)...it's all for me. I hate like hell to leave my entire family behind early, but I might just do it anyway.
-
How about when someone describes something unappealing to them as "like ass". Examples: This chicken tastes like ass. That painting looks like ass. I hate that...especially the "tastes like ass" one. First of all, that's disgusting. Second of all, how do you know what ass tastes like?

Better watch it, or else the IRS will give you an Audi. </family guy joke>

This is why I'm not into fashion. Clothes serve me one purpose: so I can go outside without getting arrested. Therefore, I buy clothes that fit nice, last a long time, and cost as little as possible. Aside from a twice a year trip to an outlet store, I rely on Christmas and brthdays to acquire new clothing.

I didn't really make that decision to save fuel and spite the gas companies (though it's a nice fringe benefit B)) I've just come to really enjoy bike riding and what it does for my muscles, lungs, heart, etc. At 5-7mi each way on slightly hilly terrain, I figure I can do it at least 2-3x a week. -
I love it. The darker color really brings out the chrome accents on the grille. Really classy looking truck.
-
I think my problem with the kink on the sedan is that the chrome molding along the bottom of the greenhouse over-emphasizes it as the most prominent line on the side of the car. If Pontiac blacked that molding out, a la the SEMA Rousch G6, then I think it would look a whole lot better. GM really did royally botch the G6 launch. At least the coupes and sedans (and all engines/trannies) should have been ready at launch. It wouldn't have been too much of a travesty to keep pumping out GAs for one more full model year, and release the G6 as a MY06 vehicle.

I'm a fan. I tried to be an owner/rider, but I nearly broke my wrist at the training course, so I decided to table it for a while. Here's my list of bikes that I like. Obviously, I'm partial to cruisers: Harley: VRSC the Dyna Glides, the Electra-glide. Polaris/Victory: Vegas Hammer Truimph: Rocket Yamaha: V-star 650 custom (would have been my first bike) Road Star Warrior. Honda: VTX line Vaulkyrie.

Me - I haven't owned any of those. But as many of you know, I owned an S10 Blazer up until June of last year when I got my Cobalt. My dad's the current owner of a red 1970 LS6 Chevelle. He modified it in his youth, and now wants to bring it back to stock condition. He also inherited my grandfather's 1973 Monte Carlo in chocolate brown. Aside from the Italian grandma plastic seat covers, it looks showroom. In addition to the '73, he also had a '76 beater for a few years. Bought the car for $200, never spent a dime on it, and sold it for $250 several years later. He owned a 1968 Camaro shortly before I was born. It was nugget gold when he got it, but he got smashed by a girl who blew a stop sign, and he painted it white. No Impalas, but we did have a '78 Caprice for a while, until he sold it and got our '83 Silverado

You could also tie your Paypal account to a bank account. Don't worry, they don't do anything shady.

How about people who are too lazy to say the whole freaking word? Examples: Mickey-D's KFC J-Lo A-Rod

For anyone who has ever considered donating money to C&G, we've set up a Paypal button on the front page. If you click on it, you'll be forwarded to a Paypal payment form with Josh's email address and the subject 'Donation for Cheers and Gears' pre-filled in. All you need to do is fill out the amount you'd like to donate. Of course, if you don't have a Paypal account, you'd need to create one, but that's really pretty painless to do. Of course, we're not trying to shake anyone down, but a couple of bucks here and there could help defray some of the costs of keeping C&G running. Josh pays for the hosting costs on his own, and does it out of love for the site, because he gets zero return from the money he puts in. Any money you send goes right to the hosting company. Thanks in advance to anyone who does donate, and a big thank you goes out to all of you for heping make C&G the GM enthusiast sanctuary that it is.
