  1. Just got the new MT mag today... has an article on the Viper srt10 coupe. Here's the times they got... Viper '06 SRT10 coupe 0-60 4.2 0-100 9.4 1/4mile 12.2/118 60-0 111ft Corvette Z06 0-60 3.5 0-100 7.3 1/4mile 11.5/127.1 60-0 104ft
  2. Congrats mygraphixs and LS1! Lot's of good entries in this one even though we only had 6.
  3. No, I'm on the MI/IN border. I am currently restoring a '68 also. Had some extra parts that could've helped you out with fixing the damage but it looks like you got it back to good! Good luck with the project. Am just starting mine.
  4. Sixty8panther... that sucks! Is your car still banged up like that or did you get it fixed? Where are you located?
  5. This one was a hard one to figure out what to chop! But anywho... here's my entry. NOS2006... nice colors! Ya otta put some brake rotors behind those wheels if you can. Nice chop!
  6. Are you serious? Why do you think most large US companies are now based over there?
  7. Looks good from that angle. But that bowtie needs to be downsized by about 50%
  8. Doesn't really suprise me... sad to think that over half the junk in the US stores nowday's is made in China, and even more so, the big 3 want to start building cars there. NAFTA = bad
  9. After sitting in F150's at the auto show and on dealers lots, I will say it is a neat interior design... BUT... fit and finish and material quality is not up to par. And the seats don't support that well. I have no doubt that when seeing the Tahoe in person that it will view to be a much nicer and better interior than the F150. Even comparing the '05 Chevy's to the F150 at the auto show, the GM's seemed to have a bit better fit and finish than the F150.
  10. I'm liking that orange Avalanche in the background!
  11. I have a question, is the 6 speed tranny really that much better? Where are the comparison's between a 4 speed and 6 speed in identical vehicles and motors? The only thing I could see where the 6 speed would be better is maybe for towing. As far as the extra 500lbs of the vehicle, that will be nice when towing, although the amount of these used for towing vs getting milk will likly be slim. In which it would have been nice to have kept it around 5k lbs for fuel economy.
  12. I've heard that the Avy will be the same but the Pickup's will be different.
  13. Looks nice and clean, really like the interior! Just was hoping to see a console shifter in leiu of the column shift.
  14. mygraphix... thanks! Oldsmoboi... you think so? I'll have to consider that. Maybe I can clean it up a bit more. What does everyone else think?
  15. I'm sticking with the El Camino SS as my entry but thought I'd post up the rest of the family.... The Impala SSR Concept The Impala SS Wagon Concept... bye bye Magnum Hemi!
  16. Well, I wasn't going to release mine this early but here it goes... This is my second time doing this. Any chance of this being a "Featured Concept" on the front page? Chevrolet El Camino SS Concept! Rear wheel drive V8 Front wheels 19x8 Rear wheels 20x11 **(rims/wheels were altered using original SS wheels in original Impala SS pic - no cut and paste) Xenon headlamps Stainless Steel wire mesh in grill Solid fiberglass toneau cover with mounted rear wing Dual side exit exhaust
  17. That's sharp! I like the body line off the front fender. What are the wheels from? Or did you rework the originals that were on it?
  18. It was the oil sending unit....
  19. I wasn't sure how i'd do this one but after I got into it, it turned out pretty sweet! I'll wait a couple days before I post it up though. Any prizes for the winner of this one?
  20. So you have to vote, as long as you don't vote for your own.... I would think that contestee's can't vote at all.
