  1. yeah I think it's pretty sharp too! Deffinatly a few steps up from what they've been designing lately
  2. I saw the Unique Perf./Foose Camaro in person this past Sept. alone with their 350GT stang. If you guys want to see some other cool Pro Touring Camaro's, check out www.lateral-g.net and look in the gallery. I'm currently building a PT '68 here's some pics of the front clip, that's all the further I am on it right now. I plan on doing a LS1 swap in it as well. Also here's a pic when I first got it home a little over a year ago. Paid $1900 for it as a roller.
  3. Wow... I just had a vision of the future of trailer parks LMAO Pretty wild concept though! Didn't GMC used to make RV's?
  4. Here would be a opertunity for GM to start their own "Hydrogen Fuel" Company. Why not profit off the fuel that is going into the cars that they make? Sure it's a bit far fetched but could be done. They said it perfecally when they said that they are practically giving cars away so the oil companies can make all the money. As far as fueling the hydrogen stations, there was a article that I read not too long ago about hydrogen generators that can be placed at each filling station. Of course these would need to run off of Natural Gas but that is very minute compared to the amount of emmisions it would delete from the vehicles filling up. Also another idea would be to have each hydrogen vehicle have a generator and batteries to hold a charge that could be discharged into the hydrogen station at the time of fillup. So while your filling up with hydrogen, your car is helping to fill up the hydrogen station with electricity. If each car did that as they filled up it would greatly reduce the use of natural gas to run the filling station.
  5. Well, it's cheap to build and reliable. Why engineer a whole new motor tranny layout that performs the same? BTW, I have no idea what is coming in this vehicle.
  6. I can say this, I was aware at first glance that it was more of a mockup. I do understand that things not only look better when complete, but even better in person. Now, with that said, I gotta say, I was very impressed with what I saw! I originally had worries that maybe the design wouldn't meet people expectations, because when you think of all the cool concept renderings that were not derived from GM and all the speculation, it was is going to take quit a car to meet the peoples expectations. And I think that what I saw, especially when in complete form, is deffinatly going to do that! It's one thing to introduce a vehicle that nobody expected and make them go "Wow", it's another to exceed peoples expectations on one that people have been waiting for and speculating on for the past few years. All I can say is Kudos to GM on what I saw. Can't wait for NAIAS!
  7. Edit...geez, I posted a website, not a link to the pic.... anyway. Thought that would've helped get them taken down.
  8. Here's what my source just told me this morning about these exact pics. ...."This pic is very close to the show car, it's changed a bit since the pic was taken. If you look close you can see the clay model is split down the center with a different but simalar theme on the other side. The pic was taken in an inclosed patio used for outside design reviews, and photo shoots. The brick pavers show up in a lot of "officialy released" photos"....
  9. doh!
  10. Readers choice awards for best car for 2006 was given to the Z06. Thought that was pretty cool.
  11. While watching some of the news this morning they mentioned the top cars that the insurance institute claimed as the safest. To my suprise the Ford Five Hundred/Montigo tested best in the full size test, Saab 9-3 best in mid size with the Chevy Malibu in there also. I found it interesting that CNN went out of their way to note that Saab was owned by GM and it was good to see a US owned car in there.
  12. WoW! Talk about pulling a can of whoop ass!
  13. Not entirely true, Ford had just as much to do with it. The ride of the Explorers were bad to where Ford lowered the air pressure from the noted 35psi to 26psi (just check out the recommended air pressure on the door sticker). Back when this all took place, the courts found documents from Firestone telling Ford to not submit the SUV's out of the factory with the tires at that lower pressure. Ford ignored it and sent them out anyway, and their negligance bit them in the ass.
  14. Absolutly unreal. I'm speechless. The best thing he could do right now is to turn around and put that money right back into the business when he get's it. Lutz for President!....er... CEO!!!
  15. Wow...we think completely alike!! I agree with everything you just said.
  16. What make the mustang worth being top 10??
  17. I too sat in a HHR awhile back, pretty cramped for me (I'm 6'-4" and 245lbs). Interior looked nice, just that my biggest complaint was the amount of width room when setting in it. A couple more inches would have helped dramatically. The door panel felt as if it was pushing me further inside the vehicle. They type of materials used I'd say were average but the fit and finish was excellant.
  18. I just have Adobe photodeluxe on the computer.. I just used the "clone" tool to get the color of the car and then the "smudge" tool to smear it all together. Hard to explain kinda. Does that make sense??
  19. With some of the chop results and voting not getting posted regularly, I would be more than happy to help with that in this forum. I'm on the computer a lot during the day and evenings and could close the voting forums and add up and post the results. Just thought I'd offer my time. PM me if I could do that. Thanks Buddy P
  20. A lot of good chops, and a close points battle! Good job guys!

    ....

Isn't this where the budgeting should be directed to? Seems like they'd want to get new models out to sell.
  22. Sweet! That 3D deal of each car is cool. I don't know how much time I've already spent playing with that feature!
  23. Like Croc said... Im-PAH-la. Watch the discovery channel when they are talking about the African Safari and when they talk about the Impala (the animal) they say "Im-PAH-la"
