  1. ^^^^^no... We have our moments when u refuse to read the full story.. Other than that... I have no issue with u
  2. 4th quarter. I saw it in person and fell in love. Then again I think the CTS is the best looking in its class so considering the CT6 is a more muscular CTS.. I'm in heaven
  3. YUP YUP!!! I PMed a few others, including a few I don't really like, but bring good conversation, but after a while had to give up due to that $h!ty software. I wouldn't mind having 00Tahoe, NBM, Selfie and TAF join. I talked to Surreal already
  4. U will see the Escalade and Ciel.. but U gotta wonder WHY they didn't get the CT6, ELR, CTS, ATS, and XTS in this film. I think an Elmiraj would have been awesome too. This is a perfect marketing opportunity for the 'Slade and Ciel. Problem is.. the Ciel isn't for effin sale. I personally have had high net worth friends see the Ciel and ElMiraj and straight up call me asking where the hell can they trade their Benz, Jag, BMW, Bentley.. Audi in for one. $h!tt. I'd love to see the CT6 show up on screen with Scarlet Johanssen behind the wheel.
  5. Almost one year since I bought this sweet baby, and I can't say anything negative about it.. It got me thru the Winter like a champ.. and I have to give GM props for engineering such a fine ride. The only issue I have really is that its not an Escalade.. LOL. every time I see one I feel like chasing down the driver and taking their Caddy. I still can't bring myself to justify having two Cadillacs, and a Vette in the driveway.. It just looks pretentious IMO I have been in for 2 Recalls. One was early on for the 4WD System, another for rear cargo door actuator. The only issue I experience was at first bringing home I would hear a rattle on the roof. Come to find out after looking at the roof rack.. the horizontal bars are attached to the vertical ones without any type of rubber to keep them from chattering. Instead of taking the vehicle to dealership and waiting.. I decided to simply put double sided 3M Tape, which has a foam cushion in between the bars. No issues since.
  6. Bumping this because I don't see a reason for me doing the garage pictures
  7. CP!!! Welcome to my new home. I like it here. The Mods handle stuff the way its supposed to be done, beautiful editing tools, and even better.. when U click the post button, it POSTS. Get the eff outta here right?.
  8. I dunno about factory warrantied, but they do in the aftermarket. .. well at least for the LTG in the Regal. I kno they are slightly different tho. Probably a different topic, but any brand you recommend? I was considering one for the Encore to get at least a little bump in power. For those I'd look around. I'm pretty used to messing with V8s at this point myself, so the 2.0L I would have to ask a few people I kno who have Regals or ATS. The Encore tho.. Intune Diablo has a nice tune for the 1.4L Turbo Hell.. for the ATS 2.0L they supposedly are getting 50 more HP and 60 more lbs of twist from a tune Intune . In my Stingray.. their numbers have been proven to be REAL. Yukon too.
  9. Good to see U Stew.
  10. I dunno about factory warrantied, but they do in the aftermarket. .. well at least for the LTG in the Regal. I kno they are slightly different tho.
  11. As I said in PM, I am glad that U decided to take me up on the invite. U SuperDuper, Olds, CP the Nerd will like it here as the discussions are pretty great, informative, and respectful.. even when U are posting against me.. LOL. The Troll factor is low, with a few U will definetly find, but Drew and his group keep it pretty pleasant in here.
  12. If it had AWD, I would be perfectly happy with a Volt. In sport mode it its performance characteristics are roughly similar to a 210hp gas powered sedan. I've even considered it as a replacement for the Encore, but then there is the no AWD sticking point. We just had the electrical service upgraded in the house 2 weeks ago. We were on 60amp fuses and upgraded to 150amp breaker service. I made sure they set aside a provision for a future plug-in car. Good Move. CT6 PHEV??? I think that car is gonna be damn sweet. I think I'm more excited for this one than the V Outside of my budget unfortunately. Not sure if the Plug-In will be AWD though. I hear ya.. but for that car.. I'd have to figure out a way to make more cash As it stands I will have to just get the VSeries CTS. I need that car. I just do. The CT6 is me in a few years when I no longer feel the need for boasting I have 640HP. When I do go to that type of car, a Flagship or such, I will most like drop my garage down to two cars and a SUV.. if I stay in MD or NEast. If I move to warmer state, that gets little to no snow.. I am gonna stay with just luxo car (Cadillac) and a sports car (Vette)
  13. They already make a Cobalt SS you describe. It's called the Verano Turbo and it's sold at Buick dealerships. It even comes with a 6-speed manual. Absolutely.. I kno. But the Buick crowd isn't taking this car out to track or drift. The engine could just as easily be thrown in a Cruze.. and the suspension and braking be upgraded to a level that the Cobalt SS had. That car was pretty fun to drive. A friend of mine had an '09 that was factory tuned to 290HP and 315lb of twist. The thing was fun to say the least. That was in 2009. Imagine what we would be seeing now. As for Buick.. they need to go full-on Astra and get the hatch too.. along with all the upgrades the OPC has. I drove one of those when I was in Germany last year and was jealous of what they get to say the least
  14. I'm in agreement with a few here about the lack of need for a small purpose built "Code 130R" type car, but the Cruze should at the very least be offered with an optional 2.0L engine. The issue at hand really seems to stem from the fact that unlike VW, Subaru, or even Ford.. Chevy has a solid performance set of cars in its line-up. Chevy, like Nissan, for instance, offers a Camaro (370Z) and a Corvette (GT-R) Each oof Chevy's models do come in "Steps" from V6 to V8 to S/C V8. VW does not do this. Ford technically does not do this, and even with the upcoming GT, will still not be doing this as that car will costs about $400,000 and be extremely limited. Then there is the price. Why the EFF, would someone pay $22K for a God Damn Fiesta ST when they could get a Mustang for only $1K more??? That being said.. again.. a Sonic RS with an actual engine upgrade, say at least 190HP would be pretty sweet considering its handling capabilities. Cruze??? Jumpin off the Cobalt SS and going with the 2.0L Turbo say around 270HP would be choice.
  15. I still remained lost on why anyone buys a Volvo. Even when it was Ford owned, I would have opted for a Saab for quirky Swedish, or gone over to BMW. There car have been, since my childhood, the epitome of soccer mom cars. The only one that ever appealed to me was this 1997 C70 from the movie the Saint:
  16. If it had AWD, I would be perfectly happy with a Volt. In sport mode it its performance characteristics are roughly similar to a 210hp gas powered sedan. 17. Well I was considering getting rid of my Impala, or most likely giving it to my kid , and using the Yukon or CTS-V as a commuter. The new one when it comes out. I'm skilled.. very skilled at driving, but again it has little to do with ME, and everything to do with the idiots out on the road doing everything else in their cars BUT driving. More HP??? No.. we need engine down when a Data is being used
  18. Yup.. The Hellcat proves to me that at a certain point.. enough is enough for PUBLIC consumption. What that means is that having people capable of tuning.. or getting tuning done, normally signifies a willingness to actually drive proper as well. The average citizen is pushing an effin 140HP max Corolla or the like. What does that do to U when U come up on the highway.. in the fast lane with your 400-700HP vehicle and essentially come to a stop.. because that SOB is travelling 55MPH?? It makes U re-evaluate what the hell U bought, because outside of a weekend run on the track.. when are U really gonna use it.?
  19. I like the Volt, but base don the Spy pics I like the Cruze more. It looks more aggressive.. which is more up my alley. My hope is that this time around, despite already having a healthy performance portfolio.. Chevy creates an SS Cruze like the Cobalt SS.
  20. Put Z51 on my Side vents and instead of going with Red Calipers on Black wheels.. I decided to go with red Corvette Letters instead of the Silver ones that were on there. Best part... if I get tired of any of this I can remove it as the Red letters were laid over the Silver writing on the calipers.
  21. The above graphic shows a problem that JDN is tackling. Dealership profits will lag because they are splitting a pie in too many pieces. The only saving grace for that dealership is that it also has that Chevy + franchise attached to it.
  22. I used to be a Sales manager, Finance manager, and later General Manager of a dealership back in the day. I will tell U that my sales force had mad closing skills, and could easily pull the numbers in using sanctioned tactics that to some in these new decades of SOFT-SELLING would be called obnoxious or intimidating. I agree with Oldshurst in that the dealer's staff should be knowledgeable about product to the point of nausea. I will tell anyone reading that most dealership sales staff ARE NOT. Sometimes they get bulletins and sales material pertaining to new product the same time that U see it nowadays on the Web. What that means is many sales staff of any particular brand.. may not have as much knowledge us, the enthusiasts browsing the web everyday. They should though. Sometimes this is on purpose. A Dealership owner.. will go to a big sales shen-dig with his Gen Manager.. Salesmanger.. and a few other senior staffers, but will not relay info gathered at said event until the product is within weeks of launch. For instance, I guarantee that the CT6 isn't being talked about with sales staff yet, because it could be a deterrent for them making a sale of an XTS.. or CTS. They damn sure wouldn't bring up the fact that the 2016 ATS is gonna have an 8speed or upgraded CUE unless U do.. and even then they are supposed to veer U back on topic.. getting U in the product that is available TODAY. No one in a dealership should even remotely be talking about the Gen6 Camaro while they are still trying to move Gen5 Camaros. The only person U might want to speak to about a Gen6 would be someone who bought a Gen5 14 days ago. U don't want to deal with a customer who want to return a vehicle for any reason. Saying NO.. could result in loss of future business. As for the Luxury dealer. They really aren't much different than a Chevy/Ford/Toyota/Hyundai dealer fundamentally, but they should be a bit more accommodating in relaying the luxury car buying experience via pampering. The difference between a Cadillac dealer and a Benz, Lexus, or BMW one is almost zero in 2015. All pamper the $h! outta U. The problem for Cadillac.. and Cadillac alone is that it is normally attached to another dealership due to the Old GM. When that happens U have some seepage coming in from the attached Chevy dealership. The way some of these dealers are handling this problem is upgrading the Chevy dealership and employees. This is pretty much what my dealership looks like now (Below) before he looked like (above) but instead of Chevy he had Pontiacs. When the BK occurred.. he was offered Buick as a replacement, but (by his own admission a mistake) opted out thinking Buick was a dead brand. Another big issue with Cadillac's dealer network is that it is larger. And in many places that simply shouldn't have a luxury brand.. Think in the rural areas, where a person desiring a BMW or Lexus would have to ride 30 miles to buy a car, but experience a professional urbanite.. a Cadillac buyer gets to deal with Ma and Pa Kettle.
