  1. and will still receive praise by the automotive press. Like the Dodge Challenger fans.. I truly believe that GM should not try and innovate again for 15 years (with exception to the EVs) in terms of platforms. Americans , in particular, just don't give a fukk.
  2. Trying to be bolder. Simple as that. I love don't think they realize that the vehicle they already have is ugly enough so they figured let's throw a little bit more ugly on this to make it look more premium. It really is sad when u get down to it
  3. lmfao.. when any 7Series lover who busts on the Silverado 2500's big face... a Heavy Duty TRUCK.. I will present them with this pic.. on a FUKKING Luxury car. Oh.. and I like the fact that the CT6-V's 0-60 time of an est zero to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and top speed at as 200 mph.. is quicker than the top of the line 7Series. Hey 7 Series.. U Big Faced Bitc#.. Eat your Heart out.. here's some sexy
  4. Here's the thing tho.. they at least offer the choices. I love Cadillac.. U know that.. everyone on the internet knows it.. but Cadillac needs more choices.. even if they were choices that are built off the other products they have and GM has. Hence the reason why I have no issue with the XT6 sharing bones with the Blazer/Acadia. There is no way a Cadillac Corvette should not be available. No way a CT4, CT5, and CT6 Coupe should not be avail. There is no way at least one Sedan-Coupe Convertible should not be available. Mercedes gives its customers choice.. so does Audi and BMW. Thats where the foot traffic comes in even if they leave with a E-Class or A6. They walked in to see an R8.. and left with an A6 or Q7. Audi/VW isn't mad at them either. Imagine that.. U walk into a Cadillac dealer to look at the new $150K+ C8 Cadillac XLR and leave with a fukkin $100K CT5-V.. Is Cadillac really gonna be mad? What if its vice versa? Either way.. U're right. It has long been my opinion that Audi's US sales are despicable considering the multitude of vehicles they offer here. 12 or 13 models and U are selling just over 220K... Audi's equivalent sales lead over the Cadillac brand literally was the available XT4 competitor Q3, XT6 competitor, Q7, and available sub ATS, A3. What if Cadillac simply had those cars.. or something in their places? I know U hate the idea of a sub-ATS, but those numbers could be made up if Cadillac simply had of marketed the damn ATS and sold 50K of them.
  5. He did not say that in the way it is being read here I don't think. Pessimism is insane these days. Some of U are a pessimistic bunch. Including the article writer. I read “this is pretty much it” as the EV market is the end all be all of all makers, and what else is there in terms of.. as he said and I quote ” with taking Cadillac to a really new place..” And he’s right. Outside of Cadillac starting to build houses on Mars.. where else are they or any maker going to go in terms of “new place(s)?” But here’s an idea that could certainly fix anything with Cadillac, before ever building the first EV.. offer more choices within the current product portfolio. It bewilders me how Cadillac and GM execs believe that they are going to sell 6 vehicles (because the XT4 didn’t arrive until Dec and the XT6 just got here.. plus they discontinued the ATS Sedan) vs say Audi, which has 12, or BMW who has 16, or Benz who has 13, and Lexus with 12 and still believe, with no advertising, that they are going to pull in those brand’s numbers? Yup.. U guessed it.. Cadillac with 6 vehicles beat Infiniti and Lincoln.. and Acura.. last year.. or damn close.. because all those makers had 6-8 vehicles too.
  6. As much as he cheer leads Germany... I have a real feeling that he's never been there
  7. Mercedes are really nothing special unless U cross the $120K range. To disrespect them some more FUKK Mercedes. FUkK GERMANY.
  8. Yeah... uuuum.. if I see a CT6 Taxi.. I'm not gonna boast on its numbers Raises hand
  9. I don't get that. I love GM.. more than most.. but I see what they are doing, from a business standpoint, as the way to run a car business. People can hate them for closing plants.. that were under utilized. They can hate them for killing certain car models.. that weren't selling or were redundant... They can hate them for going for profit.. over sales and debt. They can even hate them for going EV in 10 years.. even as everyone else is going have to go there... but from a business stand point they are doing what's right. Only as ENTHUSIASTS can we really get pissed.. only as Cadillac fans can we really be pissed. But then I look at their ENTHUSIAST products.. Corvette.. a world beater whose reputation proceeds it and is typically only able to be dogged out for its interior versus cars costing $20K+.. We have the Camaro.. undoubtedly the best performance sports coupe on the market that is not called a genuine Sports car.. we have the ATS-V Coupe.. the CTS-V .. two of the absolute best super luxury vehicles on the market.. and now we have the CT6-V. Truthfully my only issue with GM really tends to be with them not offering more variations of vehicles that they have on the lots by utilizing parts they already have on the shelf.. ie... XT6 with a 3.6L but no Twin Turbo variant.. ie Cruze not having a 2.0L Turbo even though they are gonna offer an SS in South America.. etc
  10. CT6 LIVES!!! People who can't except that are either in denial or just plain ugly and stupid. They stink too...
  11. They are ugly as dog feces, but this... Oh I'd have a baby with this Cadillac ?
  12. CT6 9968 Continental 8758 LS 9302 A8 1599 7series 8271 SClass. 14, 978 Meaning the CT6 with an XTS on the lot next to it and no Coupe, Convertible, or VSeries still came in at #2... SClass best if because it had variants. I think if Caddy had those variants and no XTS to compete with it would have beat the SClass... Hell possibly without any variants since the XTS sold 17,727 units
  13. This guy.. once again trying to belittle the Cadillac brand. Look U Kraut... The CT6 sells more than any of the German big sedans save the S-Class. It does so to some monthly by 2 and 3 to one. Anyway.. go back to the original announcement tread and see that I told U folks that the words CT6 Dead had not been uttered.. just the plant was being closed..
  14. They are selling the vehicle thru 2020. Not to mention its still going to be avail in China market.. I think they can get plenty.
  15. Looks truly futuristic IMO. Like Blade Runner futuristic. Very cool. Hope that it just flops out the Cadillac womb like it looks right now.
  16. Super Cruise I have no doubt will be showing up so I have no issue with that. GM would be a fool to introduce a system this complicated on a mass selling CUV from git without a lil more actual driver/consumer time behind the CT6 with it. I think that their approach is more responsible than Tesla's ever was. To the engine.. YES.. my only issue. If they are going to use it, OK.. I get it.. but at least have a secondary more powerful engine. This will most likely get the same times as the GMC Acadia Denali .. so about 0-60 in 6.1-6.2
  17. Lol.. I see the frustration. U know that. My only issue with the XT6, and 5.. and 4.. for that matter is that they simply need a bigger engine (more powerful). Cadillac can keep it simple and non-complicated.
  18. and Cadillac could've sold more if they had of just advertised the vehicle and, offered a VSport trim with a more powerful engine. As I've stated before.. it really is a damn nice place to be
  19. Spec wise.. Yes. The Aviator definitely has a better drivetrain line-up.. I mean who can argue with 400hp/400lbs torque or 450hp/600lbs torque? The crazy thing that still boggles my mind is that Cadillac has access to the LF3 from the XTS-VSport, which would beat the Lincoln's first engine.. and the Black Wing, in either tune, to beat the hybrid driveline.
  20. I've been looking at live pic instead of the CGI bull$h! GM always does.. I'm actually of the opinion that this vehicle actually looks better, even in proportions, than the RWD based Aviator. In fact.. if U told me to choose which one was FWD and which RWD.. I'd say the Caddy was RWD. I know I know.. we are instantly set on default to hate anything GM does seem to be a vehicle that will do very well in terms of sales. Still disappointed that they did not thrown out an LF3 with this as a VSport right out the gate, but if we are talking design.. its actually quite handsome.. and the interior is still luxo as it is in the XT5
  21. OH!!! I see your issue.. U hate change. The Wreath is dead.. for like half a decade. Sales have been up globally and has attracted a younger demo.
  22. Can't go by what U see all the time. I was in an area of Maryland yesterday where U wild swear that the Cruze and Malibu were the best selling vehicles in the world. 3 of every 5 cars I saw were those
  23. Real quick. I'mma need U to never sound like one of the silly clowns in the media again who actually know that the XT5 and Cadillac as a whole, is no longer a "grand ma/PA" company. The XT5's demo is actually 35-50 year old women
  24. Because they don't have to stretch the platform because they could have used Cxx Long (Traverse /Enclave) instead of Cxx short (Acadia) but also want to sell Escalades and a possible XT7.
