  1. my 9th grade algebra teacher
  2. Tundra and Ridgeline are uglier
  3. 'Jesus of Suburbia'-Green Day, American Idiot
  4. These are easily 2 of the best interiors GM has created in recent years. The only gripe I have is how the passenger door has a grab handle but the drivers door doesn't. Just a little inconsistent to me...
  5. I don't know about that-Delaware drivers are pretty mellow (probably 'cause most of them are old!)
  6. I think that we can all agree that this was a better review than the Truth Aout Cars guy wrote. At least Edmunds was a little 'objective'.
  7. great for you. I bet South Dakota isn't as dangerous to drive in as is the Capital Beltway is though...
  8. It's not really that bad, I mean it is a crew cab, although it is by todays standards a compact pickup. If I can figure out how, I'll post a picture of it. I'm just not used to scrunching up like that. Oh well, come May 30th I can *legally* drive the thing, and I'll shove my dad in the back seat
  9. You really think that the Yukon is that bad? I think it's ok, especially as a Denali... But yeah, almost 16, 5' 11", squished in a compact-ish truck is no fun.
  10. The new GMTs rock! I know what you mean about the legroom- being 5' 11" myself means that fitting into the back of the Sonoma sucks. I like the Escalade the best, but the Tahoe & Yukon are just as good
  11. If the Solstice can at least get people thinking about Pontiac, then why can't they get a car that makes people want a Pontiac? It's great that all Solstices are sold out, but Pontiac really needs a sell-out sedan that gives the Accord and Camry a run for their money.
  12. A man on 9th Ave in NYC in a long, pink flowery dress, stoletto heels, and a cowboy hat. An airplane. (apparently it had mistaken the Hampton Roads Beltway down in Virginia Beach for the runway) An abandoned boat sitting on the side of I-83 outside of Harrisburg, PA We get an occasional duck on the road near my house, too.
  13. I understand this, I'm just saying that GM isn't the only company to make an add like this. It's fine that they do this once in a while, but they need to focus on advertising the product, not the company.
  14. If I recall correctly, Honda periodically runs its "Safety for Everyone Campaign" commercials, which promote all of its cars at the same time. Toyota runs a spot every now and again about how many Toyotas are now built in America, and all of Toyota's financial contributions to our economy. I think that GM can have a just GM spot every now and then. However, GM does need to promote the cars as well, not just the company.
  15. Everyone in my family keeps cars until they no longer run or are unsafe to run. A purchase is a lifetime (for the car) committment. Although, that new car smell is really nice, especially when you get to smell it every 10 years or so...
  16. If she was like 50 years younger, her car would be perfectly acceptable around Balto-DC. And as to my friend, he said that if Detroit would make cars that look that good, then they wouldn't be in the hot water they are in now....best laugh I've had in a long, long time.
  17. Every morning I see this 70-ish year old woman drivning a neon green Scion xB with hot pink rims, rear windows, and neons underneath it. The rims are the size of party platters and the exhaust pipe is bigger than my head that makes some awful noise. My friend has a thing for the Subaru B9 Tribeca. I think that it's the ugliest car on the road, but he can't get enough of it.
  18. I can't imagine anyone wetting their pants in excitement over an exposed battery pack, or another light-up bauble that tells you that your car is indeed a hybrid in hybrid mode.
  19. Yesterday on the Baltimore Beltway: Get around this truck or so help me god... This morning on the Capital Beltway: Come on, faster! My truck is so good to me
