  2. It's the old one...the foglights on the new one are square. I can't really see why the GMT-360 sales (or the midsize BOF SUV segment) are tanking. I would think that the full-size SUV market would shrink like this before the midsize market due to the rising gas prices. I just hope that GM doesn't spawn so many cars off of Lambda like they did with GMT-360.
  3. She has a Xanga...I think she has a myspace too, but I'm not sure of the name... Here's a picture of her on our school's volleyball team. She's the one on the far right with the blond hair.
  4. I bet she already knows some french...she's fluent in German and Romanian, and is piciking up Russian, Italian, Spanish (like me), and Greek. Talk about multi-lingual...
  5. I know her-she goes to my school! We had spanish together last year. She's pretty nice and is indeed very hot. I didn't know she's a model though...
  6. A volume FWD car makes sense since it would be cheaper to build and buy. I hope AWD is an option on it.
  7. That's news to me...I thought that was the 3.8L V6? Should bring the Venture in for a checkup then...
  8. The Alero is a nice car. I'd say go with that, since the 3.4L V6 is pretty efficient and has some good power to it when it's called upon. It looks great as a coupe, too.
  9. the #1 spot was in jeopardy ever since GM got lazy in the 70s. Same thing happened to Ford. They got lazy, and look at them: they ain't No. 2 anymore. And not to be rude, but this thread has nothing to do with Wagoner's credentials- GM's problems began before Wagoner was in management.

  11. The Sonoma returns just about what the sticker said: 16/20, unless my dad's behind the wheel and he's in a hurry. Mom's Venture (what I've been tooling around in lately since the Sonoma's having teething problems) returns a little under the sticker (which is 18/24, it's AWD): about 17ish/23. I'm happy with both, since I don't have to pay for gas yet
  12. GM should write about how dangerous the NY Times is to America in its FastLane blog...
  13. I like the idea of Cadillac getting a CLS fighter, but I'd rather see the STS name stay on the E-Class/5-Series fighter. However, I'd rather see Cadillac focus on becoming "The Standard of the World" again instead of seeing how many vehicles it can send off to market.

    Yay

Didn't Agnes also close the Walnut Street Bridge to car traffic in and out of Harrisburg?
  15. It would be a crime for GM not to put something like Stow n' Go in the new vans. After renting a Grand Caravan with Stow n' Go for a week in South Carolina and then coming back home to our Venture was not pleasant. Removing and replacing the seats in it is more like a punishment than anything. If I would have known at the time we bought the Venture how much of a nightmare the seats would be, I would have told my mom to hold out for a Grand Caravan w/Stow n' Go. And Stow n' Go's seats really aren't all that uncomfortable. The backs just don't rise as high, that's all.
  16. I like it. I think it's very tasteful, and looks expensive-unlike the new Tundra. It also looks bold to me. Not bold in an in-your-face-way, just bold. Like I never expected this, or something like that. Not everyone wants in-your-face styling. I think that's part of the reason the F-150 sells so good. Only 3 complaints: fender flares, huge rear wheel wells, and lack of body-colored door handles/mirrors. I guess (and hope) that this is a flareside bed. I've never been too fond of the flareside style. Black handles/mirrors look tacky when the exterior isn't black. But aside from that, I think it's great.
  17. Yes, I've heard of Delphi. I think they are the ones you should be directing your frustrations at, sir. They laid off thousands of workers, yet the heads of the company all got raises. IIRC, one is getting paid north of $8million to co-captain a sinking ship.
  18. Wagoner is no Lee Iaccoca or Carlos Ghosn, I'll give you that. However, he must be doing something right, because he hasn't gone anywhere yet, and neither has GM. And I will have to disagree with you on the argument that Wagoner is worse than Kenneth Lay, Buickman. Every company has its share of corruption, I can not say otherwise. No one can. However, Enron was just created to become corrupt and swindle people out of their retirements. GM was created to make cars. Please don't compare Wagoner and Lay in the future-I take special offense to that.
  19. 2010 seems too far for my hopes. They need a class-leading product now , not 4 years from now. And if GMC must get one, GM, please, I beg you, make it look different than the Chevy! And I think that a V8 in a minivan is a great idea. If it gets good fuel economy, has more useable interior room than similarly-sized SUVs, and doesn't look boring, I can see some people looking into one over an SUV.
  20. If you're not bothered by the minivan image, how about a Grand Caravan with Stow n' Go? Plenty of room, great engine (3.8L V6), great seating system. If you still are into an Aurora, try here I know they're not 1st-gen, but a 2001 4.0 for $10,590 sounds good to me.
