  1. I think the LTZ looks better on the outside, and I like the color scheme of its interior more than the one in the 2LT. But I'd really rather have the V6. Would an LTZ V6 be out of any question?
  2. I like how towards the end, Katie Couric pretty much told Palin to cut the BS and answer her question.
  3. That interior looks fantastic! I don't like the door cut lines either, I hate it when there's that pit of painted sheet metal above the windows that's still part of the door. But otherwise it looks very nice.
  4. There was a donked Taurus running around downtown York today. It had ventiports and 32s. Just looking around. There wasn't much going on at school here in York, so I decided to take a trip up to Harrisburg and figured I should hit Lancaster while I was out.
  5. A yellow smart fortwo or whatever it's called sitting on a pre-owned lot in Lancaster.
  6. Thrasher's Fries in Ocean City are by far the best I've ever had. Mmmm....
  7. And that's why I don't like her.
  8. I'm definitely a dog person, but I like cats too. Our new cat is very affectionate, but is the typical cat: he gets attention on his terms.
  9. Just for clarification, Nazism is the polar opposite of socialism. Hitler's motivation to confiscate firearms from the citizenry would be to ensure that no one could oppose him, not because he was concerned for their safety or because he favored gun control.
  10. Point (Sandy Point is a state park on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay)
  11. He traded his 300C in for an Escape Hybrid. Ok, he went to Harvard. Would you begrudge me if I went to the University of Pennsylvania instead of Penn State? You kind of contradict yourself here. Harvard's a big-$$$ school. Obama worked his way through there, but he's out of touch. McCain, OTOH, was born into money, and somehow he has no trouble relating to people? I’d consider myself part of Barack’s base, but I'd pretty much call myself an atheist, and I definitely don't hate America. So there’s that generalization out the window. Besides, McCain (and a more than a few other Republicans of late) appeals to a base that includes Westboro Baptist, the kind that would love nothing better to institute a type of theocracy that hasn’t been seen since Oliver Cromwell’s time, perhaps worse. And I frankly find that scarier than a reverend that only sees in black.
  12. Most of Maryland was (and still is, I think) under a tropical storm warning, and a few counties still have flash flood warnings issued. I had to go out into the storm today (figures, on my weekend home from school)...lots of wind and rain, but not much in terms of thunder and lightning. Strangely enough, its windier now than it was at around 1 or 2 PM.
  13. I've upgraded to a Motorola i530, and while it has fewer ringtones than my old Tracfone, I think they're better. I've got like 26 variations of "ring ring ring." Currently, everyone's set on "Merengue," a cheery little number that sounds, well...like merengue music.
  14. Well thanks everyone! It feels great knowing that I can take my own money out of my own bank account now! I didn't really do much, just drove home from Pennsylvania after my classes ended for the day. Mom made a nice dinner, and I relaxed to some Law & Order. An enjoyable evening.
  15. You pre-date me by a day...happy birthday!
  16. I'm not really liking it from aft of the b-pillar, especially how high the tail ends.
  17. A Mitsubishi Raider and a Daewoo Nubira wagon. I forgot the two existed.
  18. I like both, to be completely honest. A sedan is more useful for people and cargo, but coupes are special and (supposedly) more driver-oriented. That's probably what my future driveway will consist of, a good-looking sedan and an equally good- or better-looking coupe (or similar idea, think G8 ST).
  19. The Flex seems to be rather popular in Wilmington and Delaware County, PA. I saw quite a few while there. Also, an Ignition Orange G8 GT drove up my street earlier today. It looked absolutely fantastic. Appeared to be a retail sale, too, given the presence of the local BPG dealer's license plate frame over the rear plate.
  20. While in "enemy territory" (Wilmington, DE) today, I saw a white smart with a screen-print paint job advertising something. Shortly after that, a black Challenger SRT-8 passed by and it had a thunderous exhaust note. Heading up I-95 into Philadelphia, I spotted a Buick Allure from Ontario being piloted by a troupe of silver-haired ladies. And heading home on I-95 south of Baltimore, I noticed a Nissan X-Trail from Ontario.
  21. Baltimore has a high crime rate, somewhere in the top 10-worst in the nation when I last checked. It's also got some pretty bad traffic as well, PCS isn't exaggerating about the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) becoming a parking lot during rush hour. There are also toll plazas after the I-95 and I-895 tunnels, which have the potential to back up traffic in the vicinity as well. Real estate in this area (not just limited to Baltimore, the whole Baltimore/DC metro area) is very much overpriced. The state just increased the sales tax from 5% to 6%. The proximity to DC means that you get to hear about their crime and problems in addition to those of Baltimore. The roads suck, and the drivers suck more. People in Central Maryland just fail at driving, and since the city is located along I-95, you get the worst drivers from the right coast states on the roads (the worst offenders are from New Jersey, but Pennsylvania drivers tend to wait until the very last minute to go from the far left lane to take a right exit 3 lanes over). And Baltimore City Public Schools are rated very low in terms of educational quality. That's most of the bad aspects of Baltimore that I can think of.
  22. I finally got to the Camaro portion, but I had to go to the link to the Camaro5 site that wildpaws provided. I think that $400-$500 is a bit steep for a 6-way power driver's seat, but the other options seemed reasonable. I really like the 20" rims, and the 18" aluminum rims weren't bad either.
