  1. It's amazing how the door panel ripped completely off the driver's door, yet the door itself is pretty much intact. The seatbelt looks like it could take someone's head off.
  2. My God!! And I thought that the Landwind faired bad...
  3. That poor Solstice... At least give it some 5-spokes.
  4. I'm not going to download anything yet, since my dial-up would crap out on my. I'll wait until we get hooked up to DSL sometime soon. Captain: I don't really know a lot about computers, but I could figure it out with some directions. And if you wouldn't mind, some info on Azereus would be nice, just to consider all my options. Thanks guys, I thought I'd have to spend big $$$ on this.
  5. I'm interested in some photo editing software, but I'm not sure which program to get. Here's what I want: *must be relatively easy to pick up *can not cost over $120, $150 at the most *allow me to enter chopping competitions and create sigs *and be reliable (i.e. does not crash frequently or close by itself) I'm looking at the Adobe Photo Shop Elements 4.0, since it's reasonably priced ($79.98 at Target), but Corel Photo something-or-another Version X looked like a good bet, too. Any suggestions?
  6. The front resembles the E-Class even more now.
  7. A Final 500 Intrigue. I've never realized how nice that Cherry Red paint was.
  8. I hate ricers-I hate them with a passion. They drive at severly extra-legal speeds (e.g. 110 through a 55), weave in and out of traffic, don't signal, don't really look, and they sound awful to boot. I mean, it's bad enough that we have completely stupid people on the road, but they're stupid at (mostly) legal speeds. Ricers are stupid at really high speeds. I really hate it when they get behind you on a 2-lane road, and you're behind an already slow-moving car, and then they start revving their motors up at you. But it's always fun to show them how their buzzy and torqueless I4 is no match for your small block-based V6
  9. Re the Corvette: It's still a Corvette.
  10. Maybe this is why all the Camrys around here move so slowly when they merge onto the Beltway... But I agree, this is a very dangerous problem. Getting on any freeway around here requires you to move into the flow of traffic very quickly. The drivers drive too fast and are too inattentive for a car to hesitate that long while making this manuever. It's a hazard to you and the motorists behind you.
  11. Well, the new one is orange, and the old one isn't. Seriously though, the old one has this lip-like overhang over the rear wheels, and I don't see it on the new one. I also read somewhere that the hoodscoops are functional on the new one, but not on the old one.
  12. Yes!! Mr.Wagoner, you just made my day! Just don't price the V6 model(s) too high please.
  13. I like the red backlighting. Overall, very nice redo Pontiac.
  14. Nope, he did try to get my parents to bite on the Odyssey. We wouldn't have, even if it did have a V8-it was used and we wanted new. It just happened to be sitting in a spot on the way to the new Windstars (we looked at Ford before we looked at GM).
  15. Salespeople are a mixed bag. You have the knowlegdeable ones, like the guy who sold us our Sonoma (he knew stuff about it that I didn't, and I researched it extensively). But then you get ones like these: Salesmen: "The Honda Odyssey has segment-leading horsepower." Me: "Yeah, I know, the 3.5L V6. We've (my family) tested one, and didn't like the way the V6 sounded, and aren't too fond of the outside." Him: "V6? This doesn't have a V6-it has a V8. Who told you it had a V6?" Me: "Honda did. They told me on all of their commercials." Him: "Honda lied. The Odyssey has a V8." Me: "Would you mind popping the hood?" Him: "That won't be necessary."
  16. A Grand Caravan with a Ford Interceptor V8...cool! That's like the ultimate sleeper.
  17. The start of the August from Hell for Toyota? Seriously though, having a liftgate closed on top of you is no fun.
  18. I think that I'm the only one on the Atlantic Seaboard without a MySpace... Oh well, I've got C&G, what more could I want?
