  1. What is this, exactly? Ahh...I see they have the Jeep Geländewagen there, too!
  2. Exactly. That's what bothers me the most-GM's giving up. To me, they're saying "well...you guys have walloped our asses in this segment, but we won't try and do anything to fix that, so enjoy picking up any of our potential sales!" I thought that GM was done retreating and was ready to go on the offensive...guess not just yet.
  3. I've said it before: there is no substitute for a minivan's flexibility. They offer good passenger room, good cargo room, good fuel economy, and a nice smooth ride. No, driving one won't get your blood pumping, and your neighbors won't become jealous of you when you buy one. There are reasons why people buy minivans over SUVs. They're just something that you come to appreciate once you've owned one for a while. Oh well...if GM's not going to build one, I guess we can always go to Chrysler when the Venture needs replacing, assuming they didn't screw the RT vans up too bad (a la Sebring).
  4. Nice Bonneville...I wouldn't mind taking a look at it. Anyways, over the past few days: -2 Sebring LXs, grey, steelies, 2.4L (f'ing hilarious car!) -Compass base, grey, untinted windows, cheap rims -C5 ZO6 -Sky RedLine -Aura XR -Studebaker Golden Hawk -riced Fit racing a riced Yaris -'75 C3 convertible -335i
  5. Isuzu's number is hilarious...not even 5% of customers return to their Isuzu dealers. Mazda's number's low too...I wonder why?
  6. Not much I'd disagree with. Although, I wouldn't have minded seeing the LS7 or HF 3.6L on here.
  7. Happy B-day Sci, hope it's a good one!
  8. My mom had an '87 Celebrity Euro with the 2.8L. It may not have been the prettiest thing we've owned, but it ran like a champ (w/over 150K on the clock) until it got rear-ended by a drunk driver. Great buy, BTW.
  9. The Venture LS offered 8-passenger seating as an option. The Venture Warner Brothers' Edition had 8-passenger, leather w/cloth inserts as standard. They are out there, but you'll probably have better luck finding a Warner Bro's Edition. If GM is cancelling the Lambda vans in favor of another platform, that's fine. But simply abandoning the minivan segment is beyond stupid, IMO.
  10. Really...they never announce it's name on the radio. My favorite is the 5 months of bills. Now that I think about it, Feliz Navidad's tolerable as well.
  11. Christmas music's not my favorite type, especially considering the fact that it's shoved down our throats en masse starting in September. That said, there are a few songs I like that come around during Christmas time: -Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Eve/Sarajevo -Last Christmas by Jimmy Eat World -a song I only know by ear -and this parody of the 12 Days of Christmas...I hear it about 2 times every year, which is probably why I don't hate it as much as the regular song.
  12. I would flip the XJ Super V8 and the 750Li. If nothing else, the Super V8 is many times sexier than the stodgy 7-Series. And I probably would flip the A8 and S550. The S might have the performance edge, but the Audi destroys the S's interior (stylewise, at least) and looks better from more angles.
  13. I love your car, O.C. CTS Sports are very slick, and black makes it much more so.
  14. Ahh...the Aerotech was so cool looking! My favorite experimental car from Olds. Seeing the first picture of the Acura made me wonder why they put a crumpled wad of steel on display...then I saw the 2nd picture. Kinda reminds me of the R8 Le Mans car, only uglier.
  15. You've got mail Fly-let me know if everything's ok with it.
  16. The radio/climate controls are much better on the Vue than the Antara. Glad to see GM didn't import them. It's not my favorite Saturn (the Sky holds that honor). There are a few things that I find funky with it-mainly the short and round rear. But I like the interior and powertrain choices (HF 3.6L!) a lot.
  17. I liked the current hybrid's 2-tone exterior better. And Sickly Green never looks flattering on anything.
  18. Ugh! That's so wrong! I mean...there's nothing visually redeeming to it. I don't care how advanced this thing may be, I wouldn't want to be caught dead in it.
  19. Good God that's foul! This picture doesn't do it any justice. The one on the Autoblog site looks many, many times better IMO.
  20. Better than the sedan by a billionfold. I didn't laugh at this one, at least. That said, I'd still take the 9-3, G6, or Eos 'vert before this.
