  1. Yeah... I'm beginning to believe the Enclave & Outlook will be 2007s while the Acadia will be an early 2008.
  2. What's wrong with Enclave's radio/HVAC controls? I personally love the way they're integrated into the center stack. Spacing is more proportioned than the LaCrosse. They don't appear like an afterthought at all:
  3. This does not look like the Enclave. That's more important than almost everything else since they will be sharing dealerships. I'm looking forward to seeing more. The Lambdas are looking great!
  4. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...wtopic=7226&hl=
  5. It's coming... Site going down wasn't part of the plan.
  6. Congratulations! I completely agree! When the time comes, I look forward to replacing my 2003 Park Avenue Ultra with a Lucerne. It's awesome to have you here. Welcome!
  7. We just had a recent topic discussing this. It has most of the info available... but, like all topics, it strays... Here you go. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=4796
  8. Even the designer of the cubicle thinks they were maybe a bad idea... http://money.cnn.com/2006/03/09/magazines/...rtune/index.htm
  9. I'm sure that the new Avalon having almost 1 year of extra sales doesn't hurt either. And by the pics alone, I actually prefer the look of the LaCrosse over the Camry's interior. I don't see "quality" issues in the LaCrosse interior pic at all. The LaCrosse's carpet also looks on par with the Camry, so I don't even get toyoguy's point there. I've said it before along with many other people here who have sat in the new Camry... it photographs well, but it's a let down in person. Toyoguy... and how many Toyotas again offer multiple choices in fabric?
  10. How far are you from the central office? Does Verizon have a target date for upgrading the lines in your area?
  11. Makes you hope they subscribe to Consumer Reports too...
  12. Yeah... the Hybrid is the best looking one (minus the smaller trunk space concern), but I'd wait to see the price on it before deciding you'd pay for one. There's bound to be a reason they're holding off.
  13. GM has been cutting white collar jobs for awhile now... GM can't cut much more: http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/2005-03-21-gm-cuts_x.htm
  14. I was commenting on Moltar's point. The "location" wasn't being debated. It was the fact that it even existed. Several mainstream/high volume vehicles still have one. And no, I'm not irritated by your comment or the_yellow_dart's. I have to agree. If they're going to have one, I wish they would go back concealing the keyhole under the emblem.
  15. Pretty much all of the Pursuit's competitors have an exposed trunk keyhole... Corolla, Mazda3, and even the newly released Honda Civic.
  16. Last generation Nissan Cima or President concept photos? Cedric/ Gloria?
  17. Then you must be referring to GMC in 1912?
  18. Will that Solstice be counted as a fleet sale?
  19. 1908 Buick Truck? This 1908 truck is one of a handful of double-chain-drive Buicks known to exist. It was used for light delivery in the Madison/Skowhegan, Maine area. Specifications: engine two-cylinder opposed, air-cooled; bore 4-1/2 in., stroke 5 in., displacement 159 cu. in., 22 hp.
  20. It's weird how we're now getting multiple sales reports each month. One with visible manufacturer-backed numbers (press release), and the rest are third party with percentages and speculation. We had a few in the past that commented on press-released info but everyone seems to be looking for their own self-fulfilling prophecy to come true. It feels like they have to report weekly that sales are declining. Ok... remember here... they're discussing the first 12 days of March... and GM's March Madness sale started on March 16th. So, regardless if GM reports promising numbers as a result of March Madness in less than two weeks, most readers will just attribute the positive news to this: Wow... discrediting and dismissing GM's March Madness sale before it ever had a chance.
  21. The last paragraph is an absolute jewel.
  22. Returning to profitability is far more important right now than market share. I think this is a good move. GM still keeps most of the volume while increasing profit, resale, and desirability.
  23. They've already managed a full test on the 'just released' ES350, but not the released in November'05 Lucerne. They've even managed a full test on the Hyundai Azera. Oh well. We'll see it come now, and it will be compared to cars released after it, but reviewed before it. How come the above-mentioned attributes can be acceptable and desirable for Lexus... when Buick has been using this exact same formula for decades? Every quality mentioned above can be applied to the Lucerne when comparing it to LeSabre or even Park Avenue. Is it ever conveyed in that tone? With that level of understanding? Never. I'm not saying that the only qualities Buick has are the qualities mentioned, but those particular qualities get knocked the most.
  24. Wow, a lot of my teenage life was spent riding in that body style of Park Avenue. My mother had a red one and then traded it in for a blue one. Both were reliable and built to last. It brings back memories.
