  2. I am going to add a guess of 1959 Dodge, since that two-toning really makes those huge fins stand out.

  5. Norev announced the GM Futureliner this week to be introduced in Jan/Feb of 2007. It is a true 1/64 scale model, expected price around Euro 30,- (ex tax). (No pics yet)
  6. The first automobile show in the world was held in Paris in 1898 at the Tuilleries Gardens. Only a handful of the new-fangled "automobiles" were exhibited at the outdoor location. To prove the validity of this new mode of transportation, exhibitors had to drive their vehicles from Versailles to Paris. Although he opened this first Paris Motor Show, the President of France was openly skeptical about the automobile and punctuated his opinion by leaving the auto show in a horse-drawn carriage.

  12. So, I picked up a couple of these today. Nice casting. Note some of the features below. Not bad at all for a 1:64 (Hot Wheels) size car. Opening hood. Chevrolet badge and nameplate in grille detailed (down to red "SS" letters. Chrome rings aournd taillights. Badging again very detailed in black trim piece. Chevrolet script and Impala SS lettering. Interior has crank handle for quarter glass molded in. Notice fender extension lines are molded into body as well.
