  1. It looks kind of like a Saab from the side profile. I agree I don't like the tailights either, they kind of ruined the overall look. But the new Tdi is going to be awesome, 500+ miles on a tank easy.
  2. Its alot fresher, I go on there quite a bit and I can tell its different.
  3. Well when you go to build a H3 is still shows 2007 model year. You can dive into other sub-menues and look at the 08s, thats about it. I want to see how much it will set me back for an Alpha, not that I can afford one anyway.
  4. IT'S ABOUT FRICKIN' TIME!! Man talk about a slow rollout of the info for 08s on GM's sites.
  5. Give me a $3000 rebate and 0% financing and I will jump pronto!!
  6. That car is just gross inside and out. The center stack buttons look like the keyboard keys off my old commodore 64. Why why why can't they bring the euro version over here?!! They are night and day compared to the worthless U.S. representations of a Focus.
  7. Well obviously once this thing is in production there is no way that you will see this type of exhaust soot coming out. They are probably working from a baseline calibration up to a prodcution cal, they do that all the time, you can go from running so fat to perfection in no amount of time.
  8. GM should have pushed harder to eliminate the jobs bank. What a waste of time and money right there alone, I wish I could play checkers while I'm earning a check. So I wonder what type of modified bank it is going to be now?

  10. Is Paul Harvey's son going to be the next in line for Toyota sponsorship too?!!
  11. And so did the UAW, $3,000 signing bonuses are in the deal. Now if I could just get my contract house to cough up some money for me too...YEAH RIGHT!!!!
  12. It's true they are out there. I work at the Tech Center and I just drove back in from getting something for lunch and they are all out front with their signs.
  13. If this is a repost go easy on me please...I'm fragile. Bob Lutz on US Ute: "Odds are it will happen." Posted Sep 19th 2007 9:28AM by John Neff Filed under: Trucks/Pickups, GM, GMC, Pontiac, Australia A few weeks ago we wrote about an email exchange between "Maximum" Bob Lutz and a GM Inside News forum member by the name of MonaroSS. In the exchange, Lutz claimed he and his colleagues were behind a move to bring the Australian-built Holden Ute to the U.S., but that "it won't be a Cheverolet." Never one to leave a quote like that hanging, Mike Levine from PickupTruck.com cornered "Maximum" Bob in California and asked if he could expound upon the status of a Stateside Ute, to which Lutz replied, "Odds are it will happen," and "We'd love to do it." Sounds promising. In reference to his line that a Ute sold in the U.S. would not be badged a Chevrolet, Mr. Lutz added, "The Chevy product portfolio is too full to add this to it. We'd do it as either a Pontiac or GMC." Most have assumed a U.S.-spec Ute would be badged a Pontiac since from the A-pillar forward it would be identical to the forthcoming Pontiac G8 sedan, but Bob thinks a revival of the GMC Caballero might be cool, too.
  14. Well I'll see what I can do to produce some pics, I think there is one at a dealer close by that I can take a pic of. I don't mind the wheels...now. They are growing on me, the first All-Terrain's I saw did not have the star patterned wheel, they were a standard Sierra wheel. So this must have been a early build, and now they have the wheel we see now.
  15. I noticed that too when I built one...hmmm.
  16. Yup, its a stand alone doublesided flyer almost. It is a great looking truck in person, we have a bunch of them around here at work that are in the waiting to be pep vehicles. I think GM should give me one to drive even though I'm not an executive, I 'll gladly do it I swear. I don't mind the badge placement, but I think the Z71 and the All-Terrain package should be seperate packages, not grouped together. I believe the seats were two-tone leather from the flyer, but my memory is about 10 seconds long anyway...what did I just say?!

    Canyon V8!

The model info is up on the GMC site, just without the specs on the LH8 V8 though.

    Canyon V8!

I have a feeling that it will be the same as the H3 when it first comes out and then maybe AFM will be introduced later. There are no mpg figures in the 08 brochure only preliminary towing capacities.

    Canyon V8!

Well I could have told you that, I was just pointing out the competitors specs compared to the Canyon's specs. I know damn well that the 5.3 is capable!
  20. I've seen 2 Tundras on the road since they have been out...2 you hear me!! GM owns Michigan's truck market and always will.

    Canyon V8!

I was looking at the 08 Canyon brochure today and they quote a max trailering weight of 6000lbs with the 5.3, which is sad because the Nissan Frontier still beats it by 300lbs with a V6...ouch!!
  22. The H4 has been in the works waaaayyyy before the 9-4x trust me, and it was just a hypothetical scenario. But of course the H4 will not be fwd, but it would not be hard to have them both as awd.

    Canyon V8!

The 08s are not that different, look here... http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=16986 Maybe when the Canyon with the V8 comes out they will add some more rugedness to it...I hope.

    Canyon V8!

The Atlas is on life support everybody knows that, so kiss it goodbye.
  25. RJB

    Canyon V8!

Never unfortunately. You will be stuck with the 4.3 V6 and 4.8 V8 which makes no sense to me. They should eliminate one of these engines.
