  1. I don't get what the excitement is about that car. It looks like a kit car compared to what the Camaro "concept" is. But I agree that GM needs to get on the ball with Camaro and get into production sooner than later, but without F#ckups!
  2. Heres some interesting info. I hope this hasn't been posted already. http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/forums/sho...ead.php?t=49908
  3. Uhhhh I'm not feeling these, especially if there is a substanstial price increase.
  4. Whats up with Camry tires? I thought this thing was a fullsize truck, or are they going to have some offroad worthy versions come out. The interior is not to my liking. Especially the two-tone dash with the silver dials that carry over into the darker plastic. GM's interior is an A+ compared to all the trucks out currently.
  5. That rear spoiler absolutely has to go!! What an afterthought that thing is, it ruins the lines on the rest of the car. But I guess they still have to appeal to the outdated fast and furious crowd.
  6. Another bland minivan. Oh wait aren't most minivans! Are they buying GM's old 3800 V6?
  7. The deBangleing reversal of design is in full force. Bring on the M3!!!!

    Caliber SRT-4

A lot of H.P. wrapped in S#!t. I still like the old Neon SRT-4 better.
  9. Car and Driver should rename themselves Asian Driver and Motor Trend should call themselves Asian Trend. Crappy magazines with typical bias towards asian vehicles.
  10. I see Skys all the time now, they are mostly M plate cars. They are all over at work too(GM). I did see one by my house the other day at the local cvs store and I jumped out to look at it anyway and some old lady was like "whats that?" and I said "its a Saturn" she was like "are you serious I've never seen a Saturn that looked like that before". She was pretty amazed all in all. The funny thing was more people started looking at it after that too. Very cool car!
  11. I don't know that would be interesting if they could do something in Flint. I have not heard anything about that other than them possibly putting up a plant in around Ann Arbor, but that been in the news for awhile. Flint is way too hardcore UAW for Toyota to go in there though, Flint does need some dire work though!! I worked across the street from the Buick city plant when they were leveling that place, it only added to the depressing situation that Flint is in when that place came down.
  12. It I must confess does look better in person. But it has to be a loaded out one. The base models are horrible, I saw a loaded out one yesterday in Auburn Hills, it was also right hand drive in yellow.
  13. Don't get me wrong either, I do like the XLR because it is distinctive but it does have the deck stacked against when it is trying to establish itself in a very competitive market already. The Cadillac brand in general is making headway, but there is always that percentage of people that value the name of certain manufacturers over the other. Did anyone see the new 07 Mercedes SL65 and SL55, since we are talking about the XLR-Vs main rivals in here. I already posted the link to the 07 SL500. So here you go, Mercedes is upping the ante against all the other players, again! http://mph-online.com/web/prtranslated/00492
  14. I would not pay $90,000 for car that looks like a morphed Miata.
  15. Do they really need to spending money on something like this when they should be focusing on the task at hand. Well if it flops maybe Toyota will buy it up and incorproate Godzilla into the park.
  16. This is my point with the STS-V also. Lower the price and you might attract a few more buyers. People would say hey for 20 grand less I can have this, why pay more. I believe Mercedes got rid of the brake by wire because of too many problems and no one really liked them in the first place. The M6 will smoke the XLR-V and the SL55, that car is a rocket even though the looks don't appeal to everybody. But how can you go wrong with a carbon fiber roof...mmmm carbon fiber! Heres the link to the freshened SL courtesy of autolies. http://autospies.com/article/index.asp?art...394&categoryId=
  17. Did anyone see Autoline Detroit this past weekend? They had on Jay Spenchian, General Manager of Saab Cars USA. After I watched the show and heard what this guy had to say I thought about it for a split second and...Saab is doomed if they have people like this running the show. This guy is part of the reason Saab is not doing as well as it should be. He may be credited with turning around Cadillac, but I think somebody was holding his hand so he could color within the lines. David Welch of Business Week was one of the panelists asking questions. At one point he asked Jay a question and his reply had nothing to do with the questiion he asked. When they panned back to Mr. Welch the look on his face(what a dumbass) said it all and I almost spit my breakfast out I was laughing so hard. Sadly, I do not remember the question he asked but I do know it was not anything about the workings of microelectronics. Let me know what all of you think.
  18. You should have put a pic of the new 07 Jaguar XK convertible in there. A way way better car and a helluva lot better looking car than the previous Jag XK you show. Also don't forget that the revamped 07 Mercedes SL is coming out very soon, better powerplants, suspension, and a freshened exterior and interior. Cadillac's competition is heating up again.
  19. From the Detroit News. Who would have like to have been there for that, depending on what the female looked like of course?! http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic...UTO04/601180393

    Edmunds Reviews STS-V

Lower the price! $77,090, holy crap that is a lot of money! I could see it at $67,000 maybe, and then they would sell a helluva lot more. Just like the XLR-V is going to be $100 grand plus and they can't sell the standard car for what its going for right now. This isn't GM competitive pricing at all.
  21. Skys are on the road now in Michigan. Of course they are m-plate cars. They look very nice in person. I would say I like it better than the Solstice. The only problem is GM needs to get their act together on where they are placing the new GM emblem not just on the Sky but every car and truck. The Sky's emblem was almost non existent because is it was so low on the cars fender. You almost needed a mechanics creeper to look at it.
  22. I saw Motorweek over the weekend and they reviewed the DTS and they seemed to love it. This car seems to be getting more press than the STS, to me anyway.
  23. Nice pic of the underpinnings! Looks production ready to me, now build it damn it, that means you GM!!
  24. Well if they came out with a Camaro like that GM might as well shut off the lights and close the door!! I don't think they want the option of shooting themselves in the foot right now, that would be total damnation to do that. What they need to do is speed up the process of introducing this car to market so the buzz does not go away too much.

    CNN... WTF?

That pisses me of to no end that the Honda(I'll use the new catchphrase here too)"Fridgeline" won truck of the year! What a P.O.S.! Ooohh it has storage under the bed...hey what do you say we vote this as the truck of the year. Brilliant! Not! What about style and design? It doesn't need it. Why? Shhh cause its Japanese, that makes it automatically superior to anything on the road currently. Oh and don't forget the Civic with its miles of plastic and dashboard that is so busy that it makes your eyes cross looking at it. But its ok its Japanese, they don't need proper ergnomics. But the american cars do or else damn them to hell for having a button out of place!! All right I'm done...whewww I feel better...breathe in breathe out. Later!
