  1. The only downfall is everyone working there will have to pay Pontiac taxes. I worked in Pontiac many years ago and had to pay taxes with every paycheck, but it was minimal then. I don't know what the taxes are like now.
  2. I'm supposed to be doing the move in October. Things are on schedule I think, but you know timetables. I can't wait, my drive will no longer be an hour to work and back, the place is absolutely massive when you drive by it!! http://www.theoaklandpress.com/stories/062...070626169.shtml

    RS6 Audi

So it seems that this car will make an ungodly amount of power when it comes out, of course this is all speculation at this point. So click on the link and read about it at Autoblog. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/26/audi-rs6-making-561-hp/
  4. Good riddance! A horrible looking car that carried the nascar image with it wherever it went. GM finally wised up and realized they need to do much much better with designs and pr.
  5. Courtesy of Autoweek. It will be an impressive engine no doubt about it :AH-HA_wink: http://autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?...15005/1530/FREE
  6. Somebody forgot to take the electrical tape off the tailights! The tailights have to be the only letdown of the whole car, everything else looks great.
  7. I love the 08 CTS, by far the best Cadillac yet. I do like the XLR-V, a very nice looking car that will get some upgrades soon :AH-HA_wink: The SRX has grown on me especially with the much needed revamp of the interior. The STS is luke warm with me, if it is an STS-V that is another story! The DTS is ok, I will give GM some credit for keeping it somewhat fresh still, but it is an FWD car. And it has the old fogey stigma attached to it. The Escalade's have now worn thin on me, they just look gaudy and not very classy anymore. When I saw the 08 CTS and the Escalade at the Detroit show the Escalade's stuck out like a sore thumb when compared to the CTS. The 08 CTS is a whole 'nother level
  8. All in all they like it, even for the critically harsh British meanies that they are. http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/first_drive.p...=745&page=1

    Gas boycott

$61 yesterday to fill up. Looks like I will be staying very close to home this weekend.
  10. GM needs this, a huge influx of cars in the market. Especially with the way gas prices are going, truck sales cannot sustain GM making money. So are the majority of these cars and small suvs going to be Europe only then, or are we going to have some of these for over here too?

    2009 Dodge Ram Spied

The new diesel is a 5.0L, and that is a fact.
  12. I work at GM (contract) and my 5 year anniversary was today. I need to get hired full time to get an increase in pay...LOL. Does this eliminate me?

    Gas boycott

The problem is everyone would still find a way to be a bad drivers, or in this case a bad riders...LOL. I was just discussing on another forum that I'm reconsidering going up north this weekend for the holiday for two reasons (1) gas will probably go up to $4 a gallon just because it's a holiday, and (2) the weather forecast looks crappy. Those two reasons alone I'm sorry to say will probably keep me at home.

    Gas boycott

That would be a helluva commute on a bicycle to work. I think I would have to leave at 3am and bring oxygen with me just in case. Do you think they would allow a horse on the freeway...LOL.

    Gas boycott

Is anyone getting to the breaking point yet with gas prices? I have a pretty long commute to work, and I can't afford to drop my truck and buy a gas sipper car. I mean what other choices do I have except to stay home everyday after I get home from work.
  16. Courtesy of Autoblog, they weren't too keen on another crossover coming out from Cerebus...I mean Chrysler. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/17/spy-sho...jc40-crossover/
  17. The hype has begun for the G8 and I guess for the G6 too. It goes to show that the more money you throw at something anyone will do anything. I'm not a fan of rap too much but I guess this will be some good promo. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/16/video-p...p-in-rap-video/
  18. Don't Saabs have huge rebates right now too?
  19. I'm not doing anything to get myself fired. Just observing and snooping, of course no pictures will be taken either. The car is a mule so its a mish mash of parts.
  20. It is close by as we speak :AH-HA_wink:
  21. Somebody SHOULD get fired! I have never, and will ever take pictures of anything where I work. I have too much respect for what I do. What happened to the code of ethics and adhering to the GM security policy? This person obviously has blatant disregard for everything I just mentioned.
  22. 0-60 quoted at 4.3 seconds and a new top speed of 190mph with the new gearing, truly spectacular!!

    LS3 Vette spotted!!

Ah ha, I was on the right path then when I said it was a car from the factory.
  24. Who knows if the Toyota Tundra's h.p. numbers are inflated either. The Sierra's engine is rated and certified just like they showed in this graph. Enough said, SAE rated!! http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en/produ..._Denali_SAE.pdf

Bowling Green special factory plate maybe?
