I just realized that the above photo is of a model of a Cappuccino...but it's about the same size anyway

Well, I'm thinking about moving to France for a year or so... in a few years...and I was thinking about what the heck I'm gonna drive when I get over there... And realized that this is my European dream car Suzuki Cappuccino I love it! And when I'm not driving it, I can put it in my purse and carry it around with me Looks a lot like the del Sol don't it?

This isn't scary ghost story, but a ghost story nonetheless. My boyfriend, Graham, and I went to a nearby town called Marion to look at a car. The guy never showed up and couldn't be reached on his phone, so we decided to just forget about it and go to lunch. I think it was Sunday because not a lot was open, except this cute little cafe and chocolate shop. It was a really old building but had been decorated with a lot of crappy murals of jazz singers and plastic Marilyn Monroe statues and plates... After lunch Graham went to use the bathroom and he was washing his hands and something bumped up against him on this thigh pretty hard. He thought he had hit a towel rack or something, but there was nothing in the vicinity that he could have touched. When he told me about it, I asked the waiter if the place was haunted, and his eyes got really big and he said "YEAH! In fact, it used to be so bad we had the place excorsized before we moved everything in!" He looked a little freaked out, but it was all pretty funny...Graham got ghostmolested In my house in Clearwater, which was one of those old CBS 50s style Florida houses, I used to see this old woman in a flowery dress standing over my bed looking at me sometimes when it was late at night. My mom swears that the old woman who used to live in the house always wore this flowery mumu...but I'm prone to think that it was just my imagination. Ya never know though... Th Grove Park Inn is a huge hotel and resort that is located in Asheville...This story comes from there: When I worked at the Biltmore for a short time, we would get questions like "Is this place haunted?" Because it's an old creepy castle thing...but no one ever died there in all the years it's been in existance. Not even the owners were in the house when they died. However, some of the guides say that there is a ghost dog in the house...but they say a lot of things...

Some of the cars my dad used to drive...

lol yeah he had exactly that one. He had several vans. A couple he air brushed himself, and then an old grey thing that he carpeted completely on the inside. It was used for hauling around a hot air balloon and had a big black X taped on the top with duct tape. He had one of those awful Aerostars too. I hated that one. He just went to Texas and bought a camper to put in the back of their new truck. (A Ford. bleck) -

The picture of the Model A is slightly misleading as that is a Standard Roadster and he had a Sport Coupe. The color was the same as the one linked above, but the body style was this. -
BENTLEY Jaguar XKE (red leather interior) 1931 Model A Ford He had the Ford in high school and up until a few years ago. I always loved riding in the rumble seat, but it was prone to breakdowns. It has a feature installed that took advantage of the air intake system and by manipulating a little knob or lever, he could make it do a wolf whistle, or the regular kind (backwards wolf whistle). The Jag he had when he was in his mid 20s. He is a painter and traded one of his abstracts for that car. He was very popular with the ladies, or so he says, but with that car I believe it. The Bently I think he bought for about $15k, which even in the 70s was really cheap. It had that wooden interior that that website shows. If I could choose, I'd go with the Model A. I always loved it so much and grew up having it around all the time. I wish I had it now. He sold it to a collector who restored it beautifully and even went through the pains of finding the original paint color, which is called "Cigarette Creame"

OMG fer realz yo!
-
damn hell no it's not salvagable! The insurance company totals a car with a bent license plate. Seriously though. get a lawyer. were there witnesses?
-
you never saw this El Camino.
-
for whatever reason, the 95 camry seems to get better gas mileage than the 94. I didn't have an LE or anything. It was a DX or something. Just regular. It's very comfortable and reliable and safe. I really like it...but there's a reason theyre so popular. Camrys are like @ssholes-everyones got one.
-
Hey Brian- remember Mabels crappy El Camino? The drivers side was a '69, and the passenger side was a '70. It was even different colors inside. I was with her when she slid into some dudes trailer hitch and punched a hole in her grill. Also the shifter was broken completely off and you sort of had to jam in into place if you wanted to, say, shift it into reverse or something. After you found it. hahahaha. serves that ugly thing right.
-
Dude..is Michael Jackson driving that thing?
-
Are you planning on buying one or something? I used to have a 95 Camry. I loved it. But...it's still a sedan.
-
those pics are breakin my heart
-
I'm waaaaaiiiting.
-
God I hate Ford.
-
Oh, and because it's a two-seater, I don't become a cab driver for my friends. Namely and friends that need to be picked up because they're drunk and....well you know the story.
-
You're just jealous that my car goes fast and you're is too big to do anything like that But yeah...not a family car.
-
The front is sort of normal-looking, but the AUX lights make it looks really awesome in the dark There are a lot of a cool-looking mods you can make to the lights that don't make it look like trash too. Angel eyes in there look nice. I think the colors look kinda silly though. Later in their production they stopped putting in the AUX lights...maybe that's the model you were looking at?

z28luvr01-I really don't know why Honda pulled it either. The leak problem it had was the big reason people stopped buying it, then then why Honda stopped making it..but GEEZ...a LEAK? Seriously. Yeah it leaks....but even I fixed that. You're telling me that the Japanese...the same people that make every dang piece of technology thats worth anything can't put a little rubber seal around a couple of clips? Or just solder that clip in place? There really was no need for that. And why they continued to let those clips rattle around in there year after year of making it....it's a mystery. It's amazing that someone actually made a car that follows the impossible rule of 3 (Good, Fast, and Cheap) AND it was a convertible.... The engine is amazing. It's adorable. It's a convertible! It's a Honda, so it's realiable, it's got a lot of opportunity for cutomization, it's a convertible, it's tons of fun to drive....etc etc... Personally, my trunk did leak, but it was pretty easy to fix...but I've not had a problem with the targa top leaking. And I know it wasn't maintained by the previous 2 owners. But on the plus side, there were only about 74,000 sold in the US, so it makes them kind of unusual. It's a lot of fun to drive a car that people look at as you go by, and then go over to and look inside when you park. It's a little bit of an attention-getting, so I'm not completely upset that they stopped making them. Mute-I live in Asheville. Second gayest city in the world. Lesbian captial of the planet. Nothing new here.

Here's a pic of my (very dirty) engine: I'll get around to cleaning it when my injury from waxing it goes away.
-
Whoa damn people, wtf...lol The engine in my car is unmodified. It's a DOHC VTEC with a manual transmission. Its got about 168HP with a redline at 8. Unfortunately it's 2 seconds short in a quarter mile of being a muscle car But I'm not complaining. The pic I posted was just a joke. I found it on Google. It's funny. And about the crash...I used to drive a pimp-ass 95 Toyota Camry. Then my boyfriend sold his Scion XA because it was too expensive and bought a 94 ToyoCam. Then 3 days later he drove mine and some girl ran a red light and totaled it. I got over $4100 for it to be salvaged and spent $2850 of that to buy the del Sol. So it all worked out for the best. Amazingly enough, the del Sol was almost completely unmodified. (very rare in sols) It even had the original stock cassette and radio in it! (Probably the last one on Earth that was still in the dash). It did have a crappy 6CD changer installed behind the passenger seat, but I had it taken out and put a single player in the dash instead. And for all you dudes who are asking flybrian if I'm hot......yes. yes I am.
-
How to get a car like this? Well, apparently, let your boyfriend drive your current ride and total it aww too bad this is your engine... Hey, I'm friends with flybrian and therefor obligated to join this website.
