  1. So I can finally get around to buying the hardware to do my rear brakes. I'm going with Wagner BD125306 rotors, but I'm not sure what to go with for pads still. Apparently Intrepids without ABS came with organic pads while ABS Intrepids came with semi-metallic, but the pads are interchangeable. The choices are: Wagner PD759 ThermoQuiet Non-Asbestos Organic Disc Brake Pad Set: $30.89 Wagner MX782 ThermoQuiet Semi Metallic Disc Brake Pad Set: $35.46 Akebono ACT782 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set - $61.99 I've heard good things about both ThermoQuiets and Akebonos. I can get the ThermoQuiets for a really good deal on Amazon, and I can get an employee discount on the Akebonos. Of the three (and only these three), which is the best value and compromise of stopping power, brake dust, life, quietness, and abrasiveness to the rotors? Explain why please (never done brakes before, so good info is greatly appreciated).
  2. I prefer sans serif fonts. I find them easier to read, especially for signage, but also for documents. Helvetica is widely regarded as the easiest font to read, which is why it is used so much.
  3. That is most certainly not a new generation. It's a reskin at best. The Charger is much more all new than this thing is.
  4. If you complain about rear seat room in a coupe you automatically loose the argument. If you complain about the seats check out the optional Recaros
  5. If they have to change it they should use Helvetica.
  6. Meh. The wheels are ghastly. I'm all for bigger wheels and wider tires, but those look a little too big and they are ugly. The rear quarter window should have trim going around it. Looks like he forgot. Either that or remove the trim on the driver's window in windshield. Otherwise I guess it looks good, but I don't care for the way it looks.
  7. I'm glad the judge threw out the case. This probably doesn't need to be in politics, so long as we keep the conspiracy theories out of the equation.
  8. I wish Autoblog would stop calling this car "all-new" It isn't. It's a refresh. Greenhouse is the same, the side body panels look the same with the exception of the relocation of the chrome trim. Only the fascias and lamps are substantially different. Even the interior looks about the same.
  9. +1
  10. Well whatever, you can interpret it however you like. I have no interest is such things, so its not my problem.
  11. Since we were talking about headlights, look what I found on DI.net...a steel blue Intrepid with chrome Spyders...
  12. It's funny because its true. Even though the company website was visible on the bookmarks toolbar, a boss I had wouldn't click the bookmark, or typing in the website address in the address bar, or searching for the site via the search bar, they would type in www.google.com in either the address bar or the search engine bar. Then once at google type in www.companysite.com. Instead of opening a new tab they would open a new window. Then they would close all windows and relaunch the browser and repeat to get back to the company site.
  13. I think you misinterpreted. He said there's no victim. I'm saying if you get aids well then you're a victim. I didn't say a crime, but I wouldn't call that a gift. However, the obvious risk is gonna be there for either party.
  14. Unless you get an STD...but then I guess you're asking for it.
  15. Well getting at the lights is easy. But wiring up LEDs in place of bulbs requires resistors and other electrical witchcraft I'm not that familiar with.
  16. Ugh, hopefully easier than LH clusters. I know people have changed the color of the lighting, but its pretty involved. One of those mods I'll probably skip over, even though I'd love ice blue lighting.
  17. Well that sucks. Good old GM I guess. Mileage stored in the BCM FTW!
  18. Sounds like a hell of crash. Sorry to hear about it and your car getting totaled, but glad you're ok.
  19. Hello and welcome to C&G!
  20. Speaking of Fieros, I once saw an `88 Fiero GT on ebay with a gen 4 Firebird dash swapped into it. Big improvement.
  21. Well, its a newer car with an electronic odometer, so if its like an LH car, the mileage is stored inside the BCM, not the cluster. Just plug and play. All I had to do was change the lenses, since the Concorde's plastic lens is a different shape, the cluster itself is the same. One thing I will say is that, in LH cars at least, clusters that came from cars with features like ABS will have the warning light on when installed in cars without. If that's the case you have to have a dealer reprogram the cluster....which for a Chrysler product is a 15 minute process with a DRB III tool. Of course the tech may not know what you're talking about. I know guys who have had to bring in the instructions how to do it so the tech can.
  22. Been there done that.
  23. I may go for the chrome Spyders since I think that the black Spyders would get lost in fairly dark color of my car. I have plenty of time to decide though.
  24. It's not really angel eyes if they're square. Angel eyes can look good. It's one of the few aftermarket things that look aftermarket that I like. Intrepids don't have much for aftermarket either. They have the smoked versions of the stick headlights, the ones pictured, which are called Spyders in black or chrome, and a new brand which recently came out, but they are also halo headlights. We have nothing for tail lights though. Only thing you can do is tint them. I'd be happy if there was a jeweled version of the sock design...but nope.
