  1. Before you have an ulcer: http://www.amazon.com/Hopkins-FloTool-10105-Spill-Saver/dp/B000BQYHSE They sell these by the funnels and stuff at parts stores. Cost $5 or so.
  2. Those extended spouts sell for like a dollar at your local auto parts store.
  3. I must have been born after the golden age of gasoline containment technology, but any containment unit which safely stores petroleum product and allows for it to be poured back out works for me. We have one of the newer ones. It holds gas. It pours gas. It doesn't rust. I don't see the problem.
  4. Where on earth are you paying $33 for a gas can?
  5. Interesting that they found a loophole that allowed them to use a 7 slot grill.
  6. I dunno, I've never found the opening of my trunk to be narrow, I've fit plenty of large objects in it. And then there's the Concorde's trunk...
  7. Yeah I'm not normally big on bright red but it does look good in this scenario. I liked how Jeep made 2-door Cherokees back in the day, you don't see that anymore. They should consider doing it again, Land Rover thinks there's a market for it.
  8. First Cherokee I've seen in months that doesn't have a lift and a snorkel.
  9. Not full size but who says full sizers need to have all the fun? Based on the Colorado, I'd call it a TrailBlazer to separate it from it's full size Blazer sibling, and besides I like the name. It would be built off the extended Colorado's wheelbase. In a perfect world it would get updated powertrains including a 6-speed auto and a decent manual. I personally think the I5 sounds like a blender but its at least peppy so it could serve as a base engine with the V8 being the option/range topper. One more to go. Saving my personal favorite for last...
  10. Not at all, it was just less interesting than that damage.
  11. That's quite a fender bender it had.
  12. I just don't care for the Silverado's disjointed looks. There's a chop from page one of it and that immediately turned it off to me.
  13. Well might as well post one of these, so let's start with this: Chevrolet K5 Blazer This is the first chop I did. I tell you I had a hell of a time finding a decent Tahoe photo. This one isn't great but better than most and at a decent angle, unlike the terrible GM press photography. Anyway, this is based on the Tahoe. Same wheelbase and overall length, so GM wouldn't have to invent in those bits. In fact only from the A-Pillar back to they need to spend the money. I don't think the Silverado translates well into a 2-door SUV, and to be honest I have always preferred the Tahoe's front end. This particular one is equipped with the Z71 off road package. Yes, I know it doesn't have the Z71 bumper, I couldn't find a subtitle donor photo. However what it does have is a lift, larger tires, and wheel flares. I happen to like black wheel flares with "bolts" in them, gives it a more rugged look, so that's what I went with. Engines would be the same as found in the Tahoe.
  14. Ah, chrome door trim and folding mirrors?
  15. Well not really, The base muscle cars start around $20-$23k, and that gets you a powerful V6, even in the Challenger now. Besides teh soundttrack, there's no pentaly for not getting the V8.
  16. The only surprise here is that it wasn't another Intrepid. Looks good! I wonder if you can keep the mod bug away from it or not?
  17. Not sure I like the coupe, but I really like the sedan. It instantly makes the current car look even more dowdy than it already looked. I actually like it better than the Cruze. Like way better. Also, thank you Honda for not using tumors for head/tail lights. Would be nice if those wheels make it to production.
  18. I find that there's plenty to get exited about still for me: And that's just a few off the top of my head.
  19. The impression left on his face when the back end of his truck folds over onto itself.
  20. Just thought I should mention that it appears your frame is bending just behind the driver's happy face. May want to add some structural integrity to it.
  21. Truly we are in the presence of greatness.
  22. Well, they are certainly light years better than typical press photos. We'd all like to see an all new dynamic model, but that doesn't happen in 12 months.
  23. The car no longer looks ghastly, from some angles it even looks quite good (ones not in profile). However the real story here is the photography. GM needs to hire whoever Chrysler hired to do their press photos, they are fantastic, and as we all know, GM photography sucks.
  24. Yep, that is hands down the most gorgeous hatchback I've seen. I wouldn't change anything besides putting a waterfall grill of the same size and a Buick badge on it.
  25. Sounds like it was a great show. Poor Saab, but then the ice cubes on their signage went well with the snow they got.
