  1. Don't like it?
  2. Exactly. This is like a moron suing a car manufacturer because they flew through the window in an accident because they weren't wearing a seat belt, but that's the manufacturer's fault.
  3. It's called personal responsibility and using your brain. Two concepts Americans are increasingly lacking in. Pouring gas into a tank is its intended purpose. A gas can will not explode while pouring gas into a tank. If you use a product for purposes other than it was designed for that are extremely dangerous, it's your own stupid fault if something goes wrong. If I hold a cigarette lighter to a gas pump at the station while gas is coming out and explodes, its not the gas station's fault I'm an idiot. They didn't design it be safe to pour gas on an open flame either.
  4. Here you go:
  5. I'm pretty sure there's a warning on it not to store it or expose to flame and excessive heat.
  6. That picture.
  7. SURPRISE BUTTSECKS
  8. It's called the Journey. But for those dying for a right size minivan, fear not. The next Caravan will ones again come in two lengths according to allpar.
  9. I love that too. No initial spill. Just get the can in position and depress the lever, then let go for it to stop. No mess. I was very pleased that none of my 5 gallons of diesel ended up in the snow.
  10. Don't pour gas on an open flame or hot surface and it won't combust.
  11. That's because there was colder air aloft in the middle and higher altitudes, while it was warmer at low altitude. When it became cold at low altitude it just snowed. If it were warm in the mid altitude it would have melted then refroze as sleet. The more you know.
  12. I would be inclined to say Chrysler has leapt ahead of GM in terms of build quality and materials. The brand new 9-5 has build quality issues, and GM has been working to improve its interior for some time now. Chrysler went from recycled plastic interiors with poor build quality to high quality interiors that feature soft touch dashes, stitching, a nice mix of colors and materials, real metal trim and bezels on models like the Charger and Durango. If Dodge can do it in 12 months, what's taking GM so long? GM's got the designs down, they just need to work on the build and materials quality. Then of course there's Ford, which has all of those attributes plus loads of cutting edge tech sophisticated interior designs.
  13. Sure if you made it from weapons grade titanium. But if people are unwilling to pay $60 for a galvanized steel tank, what do you think the odds are of them paying for a tank strong enough to container the energy of gasoline igniting? I think the more pressing question is: why is America f-ing retarded?
  14. Especially if you think its a good idea to pour said highly flammable liquid on flame.
  15. That's too bad that the never upgraded the materials. It would be nice if these things got an MCE (they are due), got integrated center stacks and upgraded interior materials, Ford and Dodge have passed all the Lambdas with the Explorer and Durango.
  16. Me too!
  17. It's not defective. I'm pretty sure gas cans aren't intended to be used to pour gas on fires. I mean on what planet does that even sound like a good idea? If you use it to, Oh i don't know, pour gas into a tank of some kind, its intended purpose, you don't have an issue with flames following the vapor trail, because there would be none. Anyone who thinks its a super cool idea to do so is just asking for a fireball in their face. Shame on the parents for leaving a gas can where a child can get a hold of it and not educating them that its a bad idea to pour gas on a damn fire.
  18. It's actually a nice winter day today with temps at 31 degrees. Balmy!
