  1. I ment that it will seem revolutionary compared to the L-series
  2. LX car sales tapering off huh? Only the Magnum is down, which, being as it's w awagon and more of a niche vehicle, doesn't surprise me. Neither does the sales delcine of the Durango and Dakota. I'm surprised by the Stratus and Crossfire seeing a sales increase though. ALl in all, loks pretty good. Most of the slower selling models are so to be replaced by refreshes or redesigns, so that should really help sales (new Sebring/Avenger, Caravan, Durango, Wrangler, etc.).
  3. Sweet pics. you know if every GM car had this kind of effort put itno it, GM would easily be at the top. I don't get why it's so hard to put exciting, American styled cars on the market.
  4. I was noticing that too, the gauge binnacle (is that what the is called?) is shaped differently than the one in the SIlverado spyshot. More rounded.
  5. I saw for the longest time a 1992 DOdge Ram sitting in the far corner of a Chrysler dealership. Only recently did I notice it was gone. Ion surprises me, the Vue not to much...I've bseen seeing a lot of new ones, and they're more appealing since the refresh I think.
  6. The same car you guys probabbly loves as a concept you think sucks as a production model, despite the fact that aside from the wheels, bumper, exhuast pipes, and wood instead of metallic trim, it's basically the same car. Sure, the concept's added rouches make it look better, but compared to anything Saturn sold for midsize before, this thing is downright revolutionary. Most people have never seen an Opel, and a lor of average cusomiers probably never saw the concept, so they'll no doubt be vvery impressed with the car.
  7. It works to believe it or not, lol Yeah...see it's possible for the domestics to integrate their stereos For the logest time the car went without that radio (it was missing when my dad bought it). Only two years ago did he hunt down one of those. Looks pretty sweet
  8. The wheels on the `70 aren't the ones that belong on it, those are stored in the basement. This summer when school is over I'll at least clean them out. Repairs will come when I have some moeny and maybe someone to help me fix them
  9. yep. should be interesting.
  10. Actually, most of that is metal...not plastic. The plastic is mainly the "chrome" trim, which has since faded. (Referencing the `69) The 70 has a bit more hard plastic on the lower dash, but more of it is metal. The doors are hard plastic though.
  11. that's quite a grab!
  12. Nice BV, but you ain't seen nothin'
  13. And for the hell of it, a pic of our 1986 Dodge Caravan LE. Not too shabby for a Caravan this old eh? Oh and if you read this BV, this is all the crap the van was parked against that made it so hard to get at the prop.
  14. Now the 1970 `Cuda This car hasn't been used in years, and need s a lot more work than the `69 did. Last year it did start, though it has yet to be started this year. As you can see from the hockey puck decal, it's a 340 aswell. It was once swapped for a hemi, but the 340 was later returned to it. It has no A/C, thought it does have an automatic. It has power steering aswell, which it didn't originally have. It's been sitting in the same place for a years, and needs a lot of work. Over time junk got piled on it, but not heavy stuff. I love this car, much more than the `69, but a lack of money has prevented it from getting attention (that andthe `69 was the focus first).
  15. Since Camino LS6 asked, I thought I'd share with everyone some pics (14 total, plus 2 extra) of my family's muscle cars. The first post is for the blue 1969 Barracuda, the 2nd post will be the orange 1979 `Cuda, and the last two are msic images. Enjoy! Very little rust on this car at all. It does run, and was last driven in the fall, although Today I noticed there's large wet spot under the car. It's raining so I'm not sure if it's a leak or not. This Barracuda has a 340 and a manual tranny, it also has factory A/C. There's been a lot of work done to this car over the past few years. The nterior had a lot of work done to it, including the seats being reupholstered, and the carpet being replaced. Work was done to the egine aswell, including a rebuilt carburator.
  16. I admit to that, but it's deffitely innovative, and it looks cool. If it had a beefy AWD system as an option it would be better. I find it funny/impressive they were able to make a hemi FWD nevertheless
  17. WHat year is it? I'm just wondering if any new cars or trucks have coil springs. I love them, they never fail. Glad my car has them
  18. You gotta hand it to Chrysler for being daring when it comes to their designs. I guess you can only do so much with an SUV shape, still the Nitro (Especially in black) looks sweet. My family has always been mopar mostly (with a few GMs here and there), and it looks like it will stay that way. I agree the M80 woulda been cool. I think the Rampage was sweet too.
  19. You know not everything edmunds writes is import biased. They love the 300, Charger, Magnum. They like the Fusion (except in that comparison test, which pisses me off too). They like the Cobalt, but it's not perfect. Such as the improperly installed weather stripping. They don't love all imports either. They still don't like the Yaris. So yeah. Just making a point.
  20. *sigh* No, this was simply an American VS American VS American test. There's nothing wrong with it. Two of the three cars have been in other comparisons featuring imports. (The 300 always does well, the LaCrosse varies). This is like teh AMerican Muscle comparisons. No one bitches when they don't include imports in a Charger VS GTO shootout.
  21. Hah, well the van was bastically up against the stuff that was there: a large yamaha motorcycle, a 2.5 4, a 3 speed automatic, and some other heavy spare parts.. Even when we got the other battery finally in it, there wasn't enough juicy to start it. Ended up having to put the van in refer and push along the sides to get it to roll out of the garage. XD Deffinitely...do any cars even feature those anymore?
  22. NG = Newgrounds
  23. H3 is underpowered, FJ just came out. Let's see if sales die off in the coming months or not. I don't care for either SUV, but The H3 looks way better and has a nicer interior.
