  1. I thought the Caliber was selling well? It's too bad about tthe Magnum...I love that car.
  2. Apparently you haven't sat in an Aura yet. Same problem. It's not just DCX. I dunno about the new Malibu. Laos, from time to time I do you the door arm rest, and the top of the door (if the window is down...in the Shadow anyway). At least the center one looks padded.
  3. Hoky crap that's hot! That is pretty damn sexy. Cool how the hand brake integrate with the center console a la Saab 9-3.
  4. I got one for you:
  5. Further proof that Nascar is full of misguided morons who are nothing but tools.
  6. The more I look at it the more I like it. It's sexy and has original styling, and the original pics did not do this car justice. It looks much sleeker and more visuall striking than the first LF-A. I hope this car does make it to production. -Old LF-A -New LF-A
  7. "Tell them that we own their asses and to F*** off!"
  8. How do you figure it's a disaster? Looks like a fine engine to me.
  9. Here's an shot from the Dodge site of what looks like the black/cream interior. I like it, although it looks like the armrests will be hard plastic. Which leads me to a question: why do so many new cars have hard armrests?! That's one of the places it should always be soft!
  10. The only two Tundras I ever saw was prototype and one at the New England International Auto Show. I've seen couple Sierras.
  11. I remember that commercial! It was awesome
  12. Another idea! Have Chery design and engineer a Pontiac G8. It'll way 5,00 lbs and have a 1.2 4 banger with 57 horsepower, FWD, lots of plastic cladding, ugly interior, giant wing, 13 inch wheels, leaf springs, solid axles, and most of all ugly (hey that fits with teh current lineup for the most part).
  13. Sorry to hear about your car man, but I think you should keep it if you are that attached to it...you know you'll regret selling it.
  14. I think the Dodge CUV is going to be bigger than that, this thing is more the size of a Caliber...I can see the rising beltline making it, if Chrysler decides to go modern instead of retro.
  15. I have an idea! Pontiac could re engineer it to be a 14 ton BOF car with a 7 million cubic inch, 20 barrel, 18 carb, inline 16, that makes 17 horsepower. Throw in solid axles front and back with leaf spring suspension, a 12 foot hammer-shaped spoiler, 7 inch wheels in front, and 39 inch wheels in back. Oh and how about digging out a steering wheel from the 80's and matching switchgear, all applied to a dash that was thrown up on and then a torch was taken to it to partially melt it. Top the whole package off with 2.3 acres of body cladding and make it 7 feet wide and 14 feet long...oh and add 19 scoops and a grill the size of a Dodge Caliber! Or... We could ignore all the strange, old-tech, and sometimes stupid ideas I've seen on this thread (and around the forums), and import this handsome car with a normal-sized Pontiac grill, and call it a day (and a car that doesn't suck).
  16. They think pretty highly of Fords. Cadillac has never been able to make much inroads because none of their vehicles have met the qualities they desire. They either handled like crap and/or had lousy interiors, and/or they were too big. The CTS handles well but is complained about as being too big to be a 3-series competitor and it's cheap interior held it back. Every other Caddy has the same problem: interiors. I don't know how nice the interior in the BLS is (it looks nice though), but the cost cutting is apparent, and it's designed on the cheap...they won't respect that. The new CTS is probably the first Cadillac that can truly go head-to-head with the Germans, but it's now a 5-series competitor.
  17. I never said anything about the interior materials or fit and finish, thank you. Unlike some people on this board I don't comment on materials unless I've been in the vehicle or it's horribly apparent, same with fit and finish. I also never said I didn't like the car. However, I do not feel this is worthy of being a Cadillac, and the sales in Europe, combined with the fact that it's not even on sale here backs up my point.
  18. Best anti-theft security
  19. Oh Canada...you SUCK! Ah, but every government has it's morons...look who runs our country?
  20. Oh man, I hate Lawrence. Some of highest crime rate, it's filthy in most parts, lots of run-down 3 story apartment complexes with like an inch between them. It also has the highest car insurance rates in the state. When I have the money I am moving out of this town...but at least where I live (close to Methuen), is pretty decent.
  21. Except this looks hot as hell...none of those cars did.
  22. The Tundra still lacks HD models, diesel models, and Crossover model (I'm referring to the Avalanche, which is part of the GMT-900s). It has one interior, verses GM's 2 interiors (and so far the Tundra's interior has been taking some flak, while the GMT-900's have been praised). Its top-of-the-line drivetrain may be good, I'll give it that, but it's midrange engine is not compare to the midrange V8 the GM trucks have. It also may have "Toyota" reliability (which as of late hasn't been that reliable), but GM (Ford and Dodge) have proven reliability in this segment. While it may be able to compete in this segment now, it's still playing catchup...for once a Toyota is behind the Domestics.
  23. For the record: Man that hurts my eyes...
