  1. Going to war without Congress' approval. Going to war claiming Iraq had "weapons of mass destruction" yet none were ever found. Not doing a damn f@#king thing about health care issues, trade policies, and blaming Detroit for their problems. Not responding to the hurricane disasters in a timely manner. Those are just some of the ones I named off the top of my head.Oh and he can't form a descent speech to save his life.
  2. What I find funny is how many people here claim the magazine's and websites are bias against GM and the Domestics...yet the mood is changing now. What you have to stop and think about is that this mood of saying nice things about the Domestics and GM and while not being so nice to Toyota started the same time GM and company began turning out good products. It's not so much bias or playing favorites (except consumer reports and the "truth" about cars), as the simple fact that if the companies build good products, they will get good reviews and so on. Granted there's some bias, but not all of it.
  3. It's awesome.
  4. If you're referring to the GMT-800's you should put "lack of" in front of "ride/handling dynamics". However the rest is pretty spot on.
  5. That's pretty f@#ked up.
  6. Good for GM. The fact that the Avenger sold 5k units and it's a brand new model is quite impressive...especially since the Aura is still struggling to get above 3500 units. The Caliber is doing well and the Wrangler is doing great (which is what happens when you redesign a vehicle properly). Now if only they could fix the rest of their problems.
  7. For the price It seems like a good deal. It's better looking (outside) than an Uplander at least. I'd never choose one over a Caravan, but you can probably get a good payment plan on the Venture Minivans may not be cool but few things are more flexible. It'll serve you well.
  8. I haven't read the article yet but why was the Dodge not equipped for towing if this is a f@#king towing comparison? That seems pretty damn unfair. Not that I expected the Ram to win...it's getting long in the tooth, but it would no doubt have done better if properly equipped.
  9. I would think the Aura would be selling better. I see them all the time.
  10. The Fusion's headlights always reminded me more of the last Prelude than Cadillac. I love this car, the interior is stunning and the exterior is beautiful. This should be Mercury and Ford's cars should look more like the Interceptor. But I doubt Ford will do either. Bold Moves my ass.
  11. I won't miss it.
  12. Another study released suggests that studies like this are retarded. If a vehicle has earned 5 stars or a "good" rating, and you can see the images and/or footage as proof, then it is safe. Be it Car, truck, SUV or CUV. How safe it is to other people is another story.
  13. I have a craving for bacon.
  14. There's proof to this statement as exampled by the early Ford Focus' which were built at the Hermosillo Plant. They had quality problems that Focus' elsewhere didn't have. Another really good statement Fly.
  15. At least you could still call it "American"
  16. But the original car dates back to the late 90's. This thing is ancient and needs a full redesign not a refresh. Is that scheduled for `09?
  17. This is an excellent article, the guy should get a prize for it.
  18. I'd be for that. Better than GM owning Chrysler.
  19. The `95 Stealth didn't have clear tail lights...
  20. Dodge and Jeep are far less damaged than the likes of Buick and Pontiac, and easily have more equity. Dodge is symbolized with performance and manly things, jeep is offroad, and for the most part the brands' models accurately represent those philosophies. Chrysler is the only brand I'd consider damaged, because it has no real mission. It's only slightly more upmarket than Dodge, and usually with worse values. If it were a premium brand it would be fine. You wanna talk outdated models? Name a Buick besides the Enclave that isn't based on an old platform? Most of Chrysler Groups product's are up to date. The only Dodge vehicles getting long in the tooth are the Caravan and Durango, and the new Caravan is on its way, the "oldest" Jeep is the Grand Cherokee. Chrysler's only real outdated model is the PT Cruiser, which is based off the old Neon platform. Chrysler's problem is not models, but mainly interior material quality (it seems they have build quality right, which is something GM is still working on), and they also need to ramp up the new V6 and more production of teh 6-speed. It's really not that hard to fix Chrysler, Daimler just doesn't wanna deal with it...they never have.
  21. Just like how you'd think GM would have thought to offer the 6-speed in at least one trim level of the Silverado, knowing the Tundra was going to debut with a 6-speed, but apparently they suck too much to figure such obvious things out.
  22. Soon even the rednecks will be converted to import humpers! I mean their favorite sport has the Camry in it already.
